I loaded and patched Tribble last night and got in.
I had no graphics acid trip, the only problem I had was the slow loading between maps.
Other than that I was fine.
This scares me.... i'm not in yet due to being to thick headed evidently to figure out how to get in tribble *sigh* "damnit Jim I'm a 'trekkie' not a 'Techie'....
anyhow as i said this scares me... if those of us not in get in holodeck as of yet get a new bug to fight with.... can we get these new folks to share their crash info just in case ... please and thanks!

Log in, then you should see a signup button.. click it.. then you should have the option to tranfer one of your characters over from holodeck to tribble..
Then next time you launch your launcher, you'll see the box's Holodeck and Tribble at the lower left
For those who might be unaware. they have NOT put the fix to tribble yet. it seems like some of you dont know but im just makeing sure. ..but. it is always good to keep trying.. even though the fix isnt around yet.

I was able to negotiate a contract with the QETS*, if your ship should be suffering from the lack of maintenance due to your absence, you might call them to tow you to the nearest space station of your faction. (There's just a small towing fee...)

I just tested it again - tribble is ok but holo still not

I installed the whole game and both servers again today, so patches were made automaticly
but I still have to wait 4 the next update to play holo - that sucks
That last update on tribble doesn't work for all of us here, it seems it was actually kind of a surprise for Brandon to hear someone was actually getting in there, as the actual patch was scheduled for one of the next days, as soon as it passed the internal tests.
There's more than one error causing the login problems... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think those who can get in on Tribble, should ask some friends on the Holodeck to join them on tribble some time the next days, to see if this patch might affect some of those who were able to play the whole time.

Ive been having trouble loading up at all i can sign in then it takes a very long time to patch only to have the kriffing thing crash on the black cryptic load screen anyway to deal with this ?

Well, except for reading this whole thread for more info (especially the posts of branflakes) and wait patiently, when you're done... Not really.
They found some fix, it seems, but it's in the internal tests, now. We're waiting to see it on Tribble, soon.
But still, it might be of help if you'd posted your error ticket #.
The Holodeck # is the same as mine... Get it on both servers.
Game crashes after this "Cryptic" screen with the loading bar. (Some mention it crashes after completing 75% of the bar, which is correct, but that never occured wrong to me as it always switched to the next screen at 75%, at least for me.)
Does Tribble act any other way than this? If so, what does it do?

after one week I was able to start the game (tribble server only)
but it was written here that they try some things on tribble before they repair holo...
it was not bad (some littel errors stil there but all in all it was OK)
but I never felt so lonley playing STO like on the tribble server hehe
hope the next update can fix holo - would be nice to play with all of you (I mean the game)
