    Shame the ship does not move in the event. It is more like a station in that respect.

    That ship looks beautiful!

    Will we be rewarded any dilithium for playing these new missions? If not I think it's doomed to be be ignored once the Dyson Sphere Reputation is maxed...

    Lol the end of this mission is such a nod to Return of the jedi. you fly out of the ship as it's exploding, like the second death star. very fun mission

    Any word on how many Dyson Marks this will award?

    We never saw on the Livestream as Bran got D/C'd twice.

    I almost pissed myself when I saw the size of that Voth Fortress in front of a scimitar. And the Scimitar is not a small ship.

    Besides the weakening of my bladder, I will gladly partake in this event. I like the mix of space and ground combat (well space and ship interior combat). Since we've been begging for ship combat similar to a boarding party.
    One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

    Played that mission. It is awesome.

    Seeing the size of the Borg Cube compared to the Voth Ship, it looks like something they wipe from their windshields, while transwarping through space. :D

    After destroying the ships primary reactors just like, the second Deathstars main reactor in return of the Jedi? Now I've seen my fair share of flying out at the nick of time films, but i'm sure even Bran has to admit there aren't really many other films with a ending like that.

    And what is keeping us from having Ent J in the game now? Seems the size issue just got thrown out the airlock.

    They could be staying far away from each other as a War between them could destroy the Galaxy as we know it.

    Now here's the real question. How the heck did that monster get inside the Dyson sphere? Is there some heavy load cargo door for ships of 20km breadth and above? :D

    I'm betting that by Thanksgiving, people are going to be running this mission in small craft just for the 'Trench Run'/'Death Star'/'Kodan Armada' feel... And talking about how awesome they are once they've beaten it as such...

    Uh, the 'Trench Run' feel is there in STARSHIPS. Shuttles would feel more like... 'Canyon Run'? :confused:

    You know what made me laugh, cannons are not the ideal weapon for this mission, beams an FAW pretty much get the job done.

    The greatest issue with STO's current Borg space STFs is that there isn't much variation in a mission. In a space STF (or fleet event even) you're largely static doing the same thing. In a ground STF you've got numerous different objectives to fulfill before completing it. Once season 8 goes live, "The Breach" will be the closest we'll get to the variation of a ground STF.

    The size was never an issue.
