Honest question, I want an honest answer.

    Answer me this:

How do you effectively, and consistently, counter this console? What abilities, traits, combos, etc, can you use, to keep this console from seeming as powerful as 'PvPers are whining about'?

If PvPers aren't doing as you say, namely 'coming up with new builds, new tactics, and actually THINK for once', then perhaps you can lend your mind to the 'think tank' to help everyone learn how to effectively counter it.

I do mean it, because if you can answer that question to the point that few to no one would disagree, I can assure you PvPers wouldn't 'whine' about it anymore.

I recently bought the Subspace Integration Circuit. I proudly presented it to my CEO (an extremely knowledgeable PVP-er), and he basically said he'd never fit any such consoles that has a 3 min CD. He's probably right; but I'm loving it anyway. :P

As for PvP, while I don't engage in it myself, I find it hard to imagine you can really rely on an ability with such a long cooldown.

...and then just had to necro a thread about it? ;)

First of all, was it really necessary to necro the thread?

Second, in response to the second paragraph: If you have a premade team capable of cloaking all its ships, you could theoretically cloak, fire it off, blast your opponent to bits before anyone knows what happened, then recloak and wait the 3 minutes.

Of course, if you were coordinated enough, you might not need the SIC for that kind of maneuver - and odds are your opponents would quit instead of waiting 3 minutes for you to reappear.

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.p3OEBPD6HU3QI.jpg
