    Poor Branflakes. He has to wade through all this whining and TRIBBLE-flinging, find the useful technical bits, then reply in a cheerful reassuring manner. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.

    Back when I had Dial Up, I once downloaded a 10mb demo of ******** II (this was in the 90s).

    It downloaded faster than this.

    Wow... it seems an old game about Orcs and Humans fighting eachother gets censored...

    smae problem with the patch mine got to 60 % and just quits I have restarted my computer several times with no luck in getting the patch to work, please cryptic can you fix this problem

    It's gone really slow for me, i'm at 59.9% here, the hamster needs a crate of red bull

      Faster?? if anything, it's slower...

      Got fiber 40/40, but going slow as a ship without engines, i.e not very fast...

      Gone really slow since it hit 27%, so something is wrong somewhere...

      Wouldn't matter. I just did. Still stuck at 54% for me. But at least it's moving now. If you can call it that...

      It's downloading data, but the "patched" number isn't moving, and neither is the percentage.

      just reloaded launcher and it's still slower then a snail covered in crazy glue and mollassess. ya i spelled that wrong and i don't care right now. lol

      I am also have problem with patch , its been 1hr and stuck at 58%. i have closed and open patch 2 times so far and still no change

      There is definetly something wonky about how STO handles patches when I have 2 computers DLing the same patch, 1 starts before the other by a matter of 45 minutes and they are both stuck around 87-88% with stats like this:

      Primary most powerful computer:
      Patched 444.8MB / 507MB
      Received 130.5MB - 87%

      Second slower computer
      Patched 449.1MB / 507MB
      Received 81.0MB - 88%

      Wait? What?

      Faster computer stated earlier is 87% less patched and has more megs DLed...
      Second slower computer started 45 minutes later is 88% patched and has less megs DLed and has caught up to the faster computer and actually passed the faster computer on patch files?

      Suddenly jumped to the dreaded 88%, or to be precice 88.3%, and now it's stuck.

      Nothing is happening.

      It's allways something going wrong after a patch, be it it bugs or the DL server being up to it's usual antics...
