The description says that the pack is the tunic, pants and boots.
I can't find the boots, anyone know where they are?
Under the green woman's bed
In all seriousness, though, I didn't see the boots. The pants were oddly tagged as well. You have to select:
Uniform - Pants - Loose Mid Ankle > Cutoffs > TOS Command Tunic (Purchased)
Apparently, it can't figure out that you want to use the ones you already bought, instead of buying the same pants from another Costume unlock :P
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
I'm not able to claim this in the C-Store. I'm logged onto a federation character and I don't even see the TOS Command Tunic listed anywhere in the appearance tab of the C-store. I've changed characters twice and double checked in the tailor just to make sure I didn't buy it and not realize.
Even if I had purchased it already, wouldn't it show up in the C-store grayed out?
I own it. So what is my free stuff? do i get zen back for it? If you would ppl treat fair those who owned it before your "give away" should claim back the zen they payed for the stuff you now give away for free.
And the nail that sticks its head up too far gets hammered back down. Get over yourself already.
I owned both yesterdays and todays, but it doesn't mean I need to be re-embersed.
If these were physical items you wouldn't be saying this. Companies do this all the time. They sell t-shirts or some other item and occasionally have give aways, but just because it is free today in no way means that people who bought it yesterday should get a refund... that is just silly.
This is what it the 'summer giveaway' really is so far 2 days fed only and KDF gets nothing...am i surprised? not really its known cryptic hates the KDF with a passion and this week is just more proof of it.
so cryptic why dont you just stop trying to be clever and just call it federation appreciation week so that the KDF players wont get their hopes up.

I guess you didn't read about them giving out KDF ships from tomorrow?
I do recall a statement about the possibility of KDF getting something on Tuesday if FED got something on Monday. However, they will be giving ships to both factions. It's been stated a million times.
Let's spend more energy giving constructive feedback on the areas of the game that need improvement, rather than moaning about free items that they didn't have to give away in the first place.
Unlike other, I won't complain because something for free is free, so don't complain, it's a nice gesture on their behalf.
Keep up with the good work, I hope to see another giveaway for winter, even if it's only a ship, I'll still eagerly anticipate it!
Not a fan of the tunic, but them again, I wasn't a fan of some of the other uniforms either, but I use them now. I'm sure I can find a use for the tunic, maybe some relaxed wear for a new toon or something. I got the enterprise set for free, didn't like it at first, now I use it all the time. Thank you cryptic, for the the gifts and don't let the bratty, self-important kids ruin what is otherwise a great promotion.
Exactly, they have been pretty generous this summer, a free ship, the potential for tons of rep marks, cheap clothes and accessories and to top it off, more free stuff! Yeah, I didn't are for the risian clothing and glasses, so I didn't buy them. If you don't like the free stuff, don't take it and move along. I think the only way they could make people happy is to give away 100,000 free zen to everyone. No wait, then people will whine about having bought zen and now they are giving it away, it that it is only 100k and not 1,000,000.
Nobody forced them to be KDF only. They knew from the start that the KDF will probably not be treated as equals to the Federation. I mean seriously, 5 entire series' and 10 movies centered around what? Federation! It would be nice to see the KDF fleshes out more, but they really have much less source material to work with. I also think that more players would rather play the "heroic starfleet captain" than the "merciless Klingon raider". Just my opinion, and cryptic is probably going to play to that. Cater to the majority, is jut basic business sense.

Have to disagree.
KDF has more material to work from out of the series. There is still plenty of unused Klingon canon. Next to that, we never saw the house of Martok going at war with J'mpok.
As for rp, KDF isn't "merciless Klingon raider". Its about honour, glory, duty and loyalty in ways a Fed will never understand.
As to Cryptic, this day could have been a great day to make KDF players happy. The Academy uniform would even have had costume unlocks for Feds!
Still, I'm loving the choice of todays uniform. Just not sure if its gonna replace my Wrath of Khan uniform.
We'll see what the math says by the end of the week. Fine if KDF were excluded the first 2 days just as long as the amount of zen KDF receives in cstore items is the same as what the feds receive. That's fair, right?

I'm hoping it with ya, especially now I'm rediscovering KDF!
Seriously, Klingon guys... If you're not pulliing down 4k dilithium/day through DOFFs alone, (that's a little less than 40Z/day) you're ignoring a major part of the Klingon advantage. In less than a month, you should be raking in more than enough to buy all the Zstore from just DOFFs alone. By comparison, my Federation character gets 4000k from DOFFs almost never, and averages about 600 dilithium/day. Klingons have a major market advantage. So much so they should make a pimp suit for Klingon characters.
So these 2 days will be of the most benefit to low level Federation players. Even if I don't get a new ship for my Klingon, I won't be heart broken, even though I really want one, because I can earn that ship so much faster than I could with my Federation Character. It's a giveaway. Nothing lost, so if you don't gain anything... So?
I thought STO would give stuff to everyone during the summer event? It's nice to see free stuff given out to newcomers. But since I and many others actually paid money for these uniforms, we are basically out of luck. Would it be too much to ask for things everyone actually needs? You know, like a few master keys, free dilithium, fleet/omega/romulan marks, a complimentary fleet ship module, or even a matching coupon for a future Zen purchase? Even a Tribble that turns colors and purrs along to songs?
By the way. A few complimentary master keys might actually boost C-store sales. Think of it in the way a casino provides newcomers a few complimentary chips. Unless someone gives the roulette wheel a spin, there is no way they'll ever know how much fun it is ... or spend any money. A long time ago, I bought a set of master keys and was sorely disappointed by the return on my investment; many others had the same experience and we quit buying. Maybe our experience wasn't typical. Maybe the reward system has changed. Now would be a nice time to offer us a chance to find out, while the Risa summer event is still going.

While some of these are fine ideas, I especially like the tribble, you're simply not thinking ahead.
Some of your suggestions require them to build entirely new things (investment of time and resources) and then give them away for free. Not going to happen.
Many of your suggestions are for things that a person could redeem multiple times which, unless they jump the extra hoop of creating a one-time redeemable version like with the S7 stuff (not that hard but an extra step and constitutes new stuff), would be a massive exploit. Free fleet ship modules or lock box keys ... without a cap people would redeem those suckers all day and flood the market with them.
The easiest way to go is to just change the price of existing C-Store items that can only be purchased once as an account wide item to zero cost for a day. No market flooding, no new items to make, nice and easy yet still gives people a little gift.

actually, they just need to deposit zen in your account if you already own the item, then you can buy whatever you want with it. They already have this ability with the monthly stipends that gold players receive. But alas, it is cheaper for them to do it this way. They searched their records and determined what the majority of players already had (i.e these are really old items) and offered them for free to new players who probably didn't have them in an effort to make sure they continued to play the game. The old players they no longer have to really appease because they are betting that we'll stick around longer since we've already been here a long time.

HA!
They can't give anything away because there IS nothing to give away. hehe. Even the Romulan in their short life have gotten 2 uni packs (TOS, TNG).
I can see the TOS Mirror, TOS Medical, but no TOS Command.
It doesn't appear at all.
EDIT: Apparently I already have it and didn't know it.
Cant wait to see day-3
