Congradulations! You essentially have built a drain boat like the KDF siphon carrier.
That actually is good news as it now takes the stigmata of OP of such KDF builds in my opinion since you have proved other routes works just as well.
The Elite Cores, Nuets and other consoles are about to really change things from the looks of them. I really like those +turn ones.
Not at all, many will continue to consider the KDF version a serious balance issue because unlike my build which is based entirely on boff and/or ship's innate power - KDF's is based on spamming lots of space toys such as AA, Siphon Drones that require no skill except the press of a button. These space toys are unavailable to the Federation and that is why it is a fair question to ask - why should the KDF continue to have exclusive access to them?
For one thing, in order to make a build like mine works, you cannot use Cannons, despite the fact the ship has 40+ turn rate. Sub targeting has a beam requirement. Another sacrifice is very strong Sci focus, meaning the said ship will have less than average tactical and engineering boff stations - merely 3 slots in fact, combining the two. I have a different layout that increases that to 5 but at the cost of dropping 80% uptime in energy drain down to 40%.
The question to ask is why should Starfleet be required to jump through all these hoops and come up with some really unusual set up just to keep up with Klingnon's press of a button? Let's face it, this was far worse in the past when KDF used to have all kind of exclusive space toys that they can spam around. Over time, this has been reduce, with good reasons. It gave KDF players a bad rep because they have been abusing those space toys for so long and then try to attribute their wins to their skills instead and take the credit for themselves. The last part is the worst of all.
That's why whenever one of their space toy gets equalized, the whining and moaning just goes through the roof. But in reality, after testing the Plasmonic Leech for example, it really isn't that powerful to be honest and at the cost one precious console slot. On dedicated build, it can drain a little more but most KDF escorts probably just use it as quick way to add an extra boost to their power supply. Yet, when it was decided that Fed will gain access to it - the Klink sub forum was close to mourning state. Drama much? Like I said, I am considering retiring this console after such a short time. What is clear is KDF continues to rely on OP and unfair space toys as opposed to real skills and protest loudly at every single change that affects them is what makes people think they are far from honorable as they want others to believe.
Can anyone tell me how they will be added, though? Fleet store? Embassy? Will they (one day soon, I hope) simply be there, or will it require yet another major fleet project?

Dilithium mine fleet holding, like the Embassy.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
I was hoping they would add real Romulan bases at some point.
Now I really hope they don't.
Honesty how can anyone even need those warp cores ?
My Fed Bug already sits at 125 130 125 80 or so, Do I really need more power ? lmao
We knew combo engi consoles where coming... at least they didn't add dmg buffs to them I guess... but really those crazy turn numbers... the second they hit the wine will be all over the escort buff.
I won't get all oh my the game is going to die now... cause that will happen when we get damage consoles with healing buffs... and particle gens on them. lol
Seriously do people have a clue how bad luxury +1 escorts like the Bug already are when it came to the turn department? You can push a Bug easily into the 60+ range (at which point it behaves weird and can't corkscrew spiral without rocketing off) and that's without fancy Mk. XII purp gear.
Cryptic please understand that power creep in games with damage/resistance etc. is one thing, but when it comes to actual movement there is a limit before it gets really silly. That limit was already reached a long time ago and now it's been pushed over the brink.

WHo would need a Bugship to turn this fast? Cruisers need the turn boost, not the bugship. Escorts turn fine for PVE already as they are.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
I doubt many players wanted to see even tankier Bugs but to each their own I guess.
It's equal opportunity for everyone. Any ship will have the chance to obtain these consoles to better suit their needs. In this sense, this is fair to everyone though flying bricks will benefit a little more since the emphasis is clearly to make them turn better whereas boost to structural integrity receives a far smaller boost.

cruisers already got 1 boost from rcs change with LoR ,1 from warp cores and 1 from universal leech everyone has.More turn rate and you could rename cruisers into escorts thou that would be a bad idea because borg killers QQ all the time about escorts.
or they could make all ships the same and the difference to be the skin. That will happen sooner or later.
in the mean time they made nadorc ,crafting and trading consoles useless...and soon (after they release tactical consoles) ec will be in the list of useless things to have. You wont have anything to buy with ec and that currency will be like nukara ,romulan and all the stupid marks they invent every few days.

Sorry, with all due respect, that's simply not true, not even remotely. A cruiser typically has a base turn rate between 5 to 7. The RCS change with LoR makes a lot of sense because they eliminate a turn rate penalty to those consoles that was never supposed to be there. Not sure what turn rate improvement you are referring to in the Warp Core as I am not aware of any such boost in existing warp cores. "Universal leech", again not sure what you are referring to again. Even if you add up all the enhancement and say the turn rate of the cruisers have improved by 100%, we are talking about turn rate between 10-15 or so at most. O.K., add a few DM Neutronium with turn rate boost, say add another 50% - let's be generous, we are still talking about 13-18 or so in turn rate. The highest number I have seen is 22 from a cruiser but that claim is never independently verified. Do you realize what kind of turn rate those alphaescorts like Fleet Defiant and Bugs ships operate? As an example, my Wells which has a base turn rate of 15, enhanced with Tachyonkinetic converter, Engine power = 125, using the best turning impulse engine in game (Adapted MACO) - has trouble keeping up with the turning attack run of a well spec Bug ship. You wanna know what my turn rate is? Roughly 45 or so. I can boost it further with EPtE and am pretty much forced to do so because there is an EPtE epidemic out there. Widely regarded as the most agile among all Science vessels, comparable to escorts, if a Wells with full power to engine & equipped with Tachyonkinetic Converter can't keep up with a well spec Bug, what kind of chance do you think a Flying Brick will have? That's why there can be no truth in your statement. Let's stop these useless fear mongering.
most cruisers get over 20 turn rate now.If you'd know how to spec , build your ship and pick your warp core youd have more turn rate for your cruiser and this forum would miss your QQ in a horrible wall of text.
Also the game is not all bug ships and BoPs .you seem to forget that escorts should turn better than cruisers or you get cruscorts.
You are obsessed about cruisers vs escorts in turn rate. You should buy a cruiser holoemitter for your escort and get done with the joke.
the only person who fears is you .You want all ships to have the same turn rate ,same tanking abilities but if possible to remove the bug ship and BoP models and textures from game ,but keep their turn rate for cruisers.Learn to build your ships or join that pvp bootcamp where they will show you how to do it to turn fast.

He means the plasmotic leech, which can allow for much higher to max engine power in set up that's previously didn't max it already.

And you wonder why others have singled you out in this thread and elsewhere? Read what you write for change, your tone is incredibly condescending, accusatory and rude. What's worse, they are void of any values, just whine, whine and completely incoherent. Good luck and adieu.

As I understand it, Cruisers generally don't have an issue with their power level. It should be fairly easy for them to max out engine power. In any event, the boost from PL is very limited and cannot be a significant factor.
The poster you quoted is not here to discuss intelligently or maturely. That much is clear. It's pointless to respond to him/her any further. I will simply ignore this user from this point forward.

Yes and no, efficiency only does so much, then you can throw in EPS abilities, or the odd siphon, but the leech has 100% combat uptime. Mind you my Recluse has close to 230 flow cap, so im getting like 3 points off my leech, but with the leech I can get my weapons to 125, my shield to 130, and my engines to 125, and like 70-80 something aux without touching a eps, or siphon. and I end up at 11. something turn, no rcs. with these consoles I might end up at around 15-18, and with the warp core, and some tweaking, I might be able to push 125, 130 shield/aux, across the board during combat, if I went for a rcs over a armor I might get the recluse up to 20 turn even, and it starts with 5. Oh and I have helmsman, so 10%, but with the right powers, evasive manuvers, dampeners, power to engines, I could probly push it into the 30-40 range for a burst of like 10 secs, but id have to slot all those powers and make compromises with my current set up.
and the problem with escorts right now, is that while they arnt quite cruisers or battlecruisers, or dreads/carriers, in terms of hull, engineering slots/boffs, they are pretty tanky, and when combined with the really high def they can obtain they will out tank cruisers and the like thanks to their massive def. but that plays into making sci abilities useful again, and not something that just gets brushed off, if you could cripple their speed, youd find them much softer targets, even with lower dps.
One thing is become VERY clear from all the QQing and Flaming in this thread: The Jem Bug needs a MAJOR NERF!!!:D
I'm not trying to specially call anyone out, but I feel that there has been some individuals who have been making it a point to QQ and flame other individuals and groups quite a bit since LoR. I'm not trying to point out any specific forum posters though with this post I'm making.

there are reasons the ships been kept as rare as it is, I was surprised they set up the andorian ship the way they did considering that but eh.

Could not resist that. The truth being that Cryptic did well with these new Consoles and Warp cores. Its a good design.
