Got kicked out too. Also, was not able to use any items or post to the exchange just before getting booted off. Server issues I guess from all of the posts. Hope it is back soon

Because NCsoft is afraid someone else will take the City of Heroes IP and make a potential competitor to their ****ty MMOs. I'm happy to have found Star Trek Online and City of Heroes like gameplay depth/mission system, good stuff.
AMEN to that. Read in an interview somewhere that the servers where NOT connected AT ALL! Funny how when Never winter started server dying, that STO came down with the same Server deaths... odd how that works. Though, it has gotten better.. (Could hardly have gotten worse! *crosses fingers, knocks on wood, buys four-leaf clover from Ebay* Not to Jinx it...)
I think I just got hit by a virus that may have deleted all of my characters.
I was on DS9, and received a random friend request from someone who asked for help with a mission. He was klingon and I was on my fed, so I switched characters.
I came back and went with this person to a porthole, and started the mission.
The mission never started and I was stuck in a loading screen with the server not responding for like 134 seconds.
I exited and restarted the game, and now after I log in I get stuck in retrieving characters. I also cannot log into the STO gateway.
I think someone created a malicious virus in a user generated mission. Has this happened to anyone else? I hope crypitc will be able to restore my accounts...
