What's your beef against f2p ??? For most companies, this f2p model was and is become their life savers. If they would have remained p2p, they would have been gone already.

I got in when all this started and was doing a romulan mission. Had to wait 5 minutes while my warbird sat in one place. So getting patched probably won't be worth it anyway.
I'm stunned. I really had no idea; wasn't playing at that time.

I downloaded the client using STEAM and only make purchases through my STEAM wallet so as to have an outside source that can confirm everything as a result of credit card shenanigans and missing store item purchases in Cryptic's history. It's not meant as a slam just as truth.
Ok so yeah patched it after an hour -_- got into the game and to my shock and horror though thoroughly unsurprisingly I cant start an STF, I also cant enter any system in the game and i cant even start a mission.....
so yeha, wth is going on and does anyone else have this issue?
Same problem across all of Cryptic's games right now. Their patch server is overloaded because they released a major patch for NW. CO is also trying to patch and are in the same situation.
Would have been better if they didn't try to patch all three games on the same day...

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I guess their idea of 'fix' was to replace every. d*mn. force field throughout the game.
