Unable to Log In Due to Unknown Reasons (We're investigating this)

    Well now that the annoying update is done. Now I get this issue. Maybe its the server or maybe its me. Tempted to do a reboot. Waiting because I have fleet marks to exchange. I think STO and Cryptic should give us ANY Fleet ship we choose because for free because of this issue.

    Just sayin. This is will annoy me if I can't turn in my fleet marks so I can have fleet credits.

    First the annoying patch now this.

    i was able to get on after patch and started playing but the lag keep getting worst and finally got booted and now im a member of the "unknown reason" club.. who's got the first round of Romulan Ale.... none for the Dev's me think they have had too much all ready;)

    y'know everything in the game seems to get done or fixed just by "scanning" it...why don't they try scanning their servers? should fix it in no time :D

    Looks like I picked the wrong day to start playing.Thought it was a registration issue.My launcher seems fine but ingame log in just says "failed to log in for an unknown reason"

    Guess I got to explore the unknown in a different way then I was expecting :D

    First impression of the game is unknown hahahahahahahahahaaaaa

    id submize that brandon is held up in the washroom, door is locked and is saying to himself "I dont wanna go back to my desk.. I dont wanna go back to my desk". :P

    Login failed for unknown reason.

    FFS cryptic, take the god damn server down and fix it already! What...have you got interns working on your servers now!?

    I logged into the STO launcher ... I waited while downloading and installing the update patch ... I "engaged" the game ... I waited for the Cryptic logo and the game loading progress bar to finish ... when the game proceeds to "retrieving the character list" it fails to login ... for an "unknown reason" after a minute ... Now my favorite game is unplayable.

    I keep getting to the "Retrieving Character List" and minute or two goes by and "Login failed for unknown reason"

    What is going on?

    Occasionally you have to hit a control board with your fists too. Maybe try that?

    Yes, because 100 thousand people all went to Tribble to help stress test it didn't they. Oh wait, no they didn't. Reading comprehension isn't required here, but it can save you from from looking silly when you don't actually bother to read a comment before hitting the reply button.     The server was just built too good... ran the game, came up with "42" and it was all over.
