    The fact is, STO is getting completely hammered by the sheer amount of people trying to download the patch and/or play. The fault is on the community this time.

    lol I think you may want to research that a bit more I Hate EVE and even I know better than that/

    Same here, got to level seven and it wouldnt update after the last mission, Looks good though, well if they had enough resource on launch day

    I was gonna play the game
    but STO crashed....
    I was gonna pvp in ker'rat again
    but STO crashed...
    Now I'm looking at a login screen and I know why (why man)

    Do Romulans have a hell? Or is hell other Romulans?

    We need to make a machine that turns rage into electro-plasma and funnel it into the servers, or however starships fix problems.

    After a few attempts I got into the game, since so many can't get in now, theres much less lag lol.

    For what it's worth...this problem does not extend to the Tribble build. I was able to log on as normal there with no issue. Holodeck however is still giving me the "unknown" login failure.

    well I'm glad I didn't fall for the sales TRIBBLE to buy any new romulan packs for this game thats hosted by PWI.
    cause like always they do the same TRIBBLE never test their upgrades or patches and behold more issues and error's cause they don't.
    at least the test server for the new ships and characters was fun to try out.
    but I won't buy any packs at all till they have this server fully fuctional without any error's or issues.
    which will be along time from now !
    and I mean along time not hours I mean months and years ..LOL

    Yeah. Took me almost 20 minutes to go from Omega Leonis to Qo'Nos and then to beam down. Just to sell junk I got getting my new jackal pup, took me another 10 minutes and now I can't get back on.

    Strike that, was able to get back on. I'm dreading what ESD is going to be like.

    I think he also forgot the time when an EVE Online expansion deleted a lot of peoples boot.ini file from their Windows install. That was one hell of a bad day for CCP. I was there(TM)

    well dont feel bad if u can log in you cant do stf's. it takes forever to even replicate anything or check the bank. any group activity is out of the question. chat takes ten seconds to post. and the whole time while this was being tested on tribble people were saying this was gonna happen. please take some of that money that we have all given you over the years PWE cryptic / whoever an fix this cause its acting like it did on release day for sto

    You think they would have the sense to shut down the server, retest it and make sure It actually works before putting a broken piece of code to offend and aggravate everyone.

    This is just plain bleeping ridiculous... First it takes me no less than 4 hours to get the patch, 2 BSoDs because they haven't fixed the Win7 issue yet, and now it cannot retrieve my characters.

    *breathes*

    .... Okay... I'm good.
