Agreed. Despite the new KDF missions and such, there continues to be the "shafting" of KDF content to the other side.

Plasmonic Leech AND a weapon similar to the KDF Elite Disruptors. Hmmm.

These vessels come pre-equipped with the sinister Indoctrination Nanite Dispersal System. This universal console utilizes adapted Borg technology to deploy advanced nanites to subvert the weapons of an enemy vessel. Once the nanites have taken over the target's weapons system, they will cause the target to fire randomly at their allies, dealing Electrical damage to any nearby friendly units they can target. The enemy vessel will be unable to disable their own weapons during this time, or fire them on targets of their choosing, until the effects can be overcome.
Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

As a leader of a struggling kdf fleet, I am very disappointed by PWE's decision to allow feddies access to one of kdf's prime and highly coveted consoles. In my fleet discussions, we actually thought there would be incentive for people to roll kdf romulan precisely because of leech. We were kinda hoping we will be able to rope in additional members come LoR. But no, craptic happened.
oh boy, now my fed rom can have leach. now the only reservation for not joining kdf is the elite disruptor that im still a LONG TRIBBLE time away from even having access too, and diplomacy doff missions are TRIBBLE compered to marauding, for the contraband.
now the feds can have maco, leach and cloak/battle cloak too. lol @ everyone freaking out about feds getting leach, now they get what the kdf has had since season 7. factions have become such a formality.
the lock box ships have just a normal cloak not a battle cloak, no singularity or singularity power, and sound like they have a borg warp core, something more like a fed core by the sounds of it. nice of them to NOT launch a faction and then what makes that faction unique for use by everyone at the same time.
OH, and theres NO lock box carrier in sight! REJOICE!

You seemed to have missed the part in the blog about Nanite Disruptors. They are essentially Elite Fleet Disruptors. Seems like a massive slap to the face for everyone who achieved Tier V Engineering on KDF during the last weeks. Now we will get the same weapons for just a few EC on the exchange from tomorrow onwards.

"However, in addition to reducing Damage Resistance on an afflicted target, they will additionally cause the target's shields to absorb less incoming damage than normal."
this does not sound like a resistance debuff, like the elite disruptors cause, but a proc that causes more bleed through.
Honestly I dont care about the leech deal whats really annoying is that every time I get caught up on lobi ships and get back to saving for jem attack ship they pop another lockbox out and I like alot of players will want the ships for our collections

I believe DDIS is correct, the Romulan disruptor ground weapons (the split and wide beams from 'Frozen') have an added shield bleed through debuff on Tribble.
Both of the Tal Shiar Adapted ships possess a Cloaking Device. However, the Borg upgrades aren?t completely compatible with this bit of Tal Shiar technology, causing it to underperform when compared to standard cloaking devices. It also cannot be used during combat, unlike pure Warbird vessels. Despite these limitations, the Cloak can still be used to great effectiveness when preparing to ambush enemy targets.
How do people get the idea that feds are getting battle cloak?
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." - Rocky Balboa (2006)
Damn, I was sure they were going to have a Lobi console/weapon set.
Cryptic's pattern was to release them in every other lockbox.
Cardassian - no set
Ferengi - Rule 62, Rapid Fire missle, etc.
Tholian - no set
Temporal - Tachyokinetic converter, etc.
Dominion - no set
Tal Shiar - appears there is no set
And I got 200 Lobi in anticipation for a new console. Bummer.
of course you are at liberty to refuse to pvp with anyone using one of these weird and borg afflicted ships.
I will certainly consider them contaminated and avoid them.
Now that feds have both battle cloak and leech. Lets see how long it takes for both to get buffed.
Honestly, I'd say the rumors of the OPness of leech are greatly exaggerated.
The problem is a lot of people think it's the drain that's OP. Other than when it was broken last year for a bit, it's always been the gain. Getting +25 power to all systems w/synergy w/tet glider and polarons/tetryons is the OP part. At least raiders (which could make the most of it w/they're 3 sci slots, decent console slot layout) are squishy, have 1-2 less tac consoles, and use 1-2 less weapon slots (in some cases they'll have 1 less sci console slot).
It also negates the drawback of the Romulan BCs. They really should've capped the gain to 10 power and restricted it to Raiders.
The timing is what really is a surprise. Figured they'd given the KDF the summer w/leech b4 giving it to Feds to try and keep 1 of the few reasons to roll/ally KDF. Not surprising though it's a p2w game and Feds have the most payers .... er players.

Your Ramming Speed III deals 52098 (99235) Kinetic Damage(Critical) to Remus.
