Man I really am starting to get pissed off, and wondering why I've spent over 2000 bucks on a game that for the last 3 days in a row I can't play when I'm actually not at work and looking forward to logging on...................................................................
Hi , I am very patient and i lost my coordination console and it was just gone, sent missing report but got back an answer saying we can do nothing and i have 3 jem ships in inventory and no console ? I've spent 600.00 dollars or more in game, no help , game starts crashing more and more frequent , be patient ... anyway my friend plays Neverwinter in next room no lag no crash no problem he's having fun, while i sit looking ... like many others ... paitence ... I think hoinesty is the best policy to your players bout now would be considered awesome and welcome by most even if it took a few days to finish it right and be done with it and servers are happy again Happiness !! Trek is Awesome it is my game of choice above all others also the whole time I played crystal catastrophy i never seen 1 crystal shard or entity and i set my settings to max and low and inbetween and 0 ?? anyway keep the effort up at cryptic bonuses do magic at fixing things right lol just kidding later ...
So I come back to the computer after a break, dinner, and the end of a movie on tv only to see a red light on the launcher. I read the big red bar that says i'll be without STO or NW until 2am central. My first thought? "Aw TRIBBLE now I have to spend four more hours of wife and kids time." My second thought? "Great job guys, get it all fixed up and I hope it all goes smoothly."
In all seriousness, I find this to be very proactive. Sure it wasn't at the best of possible times, but with so many people world wide who play any one of the games affected someone somewhere is going to be upset. Of course some of those people will be so upset they rage quit and run off to swtor (LOL). To those I say "Ok thank you for coming, more bandwitdh/less lag for the rest of us."
S**t I rambled didn't I? Anyway good luck on the fix Team, and thanks for trying to head off further issues.
All of their games are down, Champs, STO, Neverwinter. Everything. Never winter beta came out a little while ago and I think their servers as struggling to keep up. I can only imagine the problems with both neverwinter and LoR coming out...

How i do miss City of Heroes,multiple servers with a independent chat server also so no confusion between games. only downtime we had was patch day really, and 99% of the time the beta server was up. every time you guys talk about stability improvements i just start to shudder... oh lord what now!

Not always true. Most time the local tech's being sent out are really delivery boys with a couple of screwdrivers. Outside of Data Domain (or EMC Data Domain), I very rarely ever let a vendor touch anything...way to many incomponent people.
The new StorServ 7x00's also have an option for customer install. Tape drives really need die.
Ha the tape stuff is a hassle, unfortunately we generate a few 100GB a day of work product that has to kept until clients are finished and decomission their data with us.

I don't know how the servers tie in but I know STO is not worldwide. At least it is not in Korea. I am in the military and tried to joing while I was over there (this was just a month ago) but was unable.

Something just occurred to me that is speculation, at best, but I'm an LTS and have been for 3 years and the end of the month is when I get my stipend. This was the first end of the month, ever, where no stipend came. I have a ticket in but I wonder if there is any account security issues involved.

Why schedule maintenance for 4 hours during the same time the servers were down the previous 2 days. Is it just me or was the schedule at this time a downright idot choice? Lets see same group of players are for the third day in a row unable to play and YOU chose to do it to them this time. Nothing like saying please take your money elsewhere to the people who play regularly at these hours.
Maybe next time schedule for a different time than the previous 2 server crashes so a different group can be inconvienanced and not the same group getting screwed over.
