    There's only one real Q. That's DeLancie.

I actually hope if humans ever encounter an omnipotent being, for as far as that can exist, it'll take the form of DeLancie's Q. Just for our benefit of understanding it better!

The only true Q is the De.

I almost look forward to downtime because every time it happens I get to watch enraged nerds and fan boys start pinwheeling their arms and running at each other in the forums. I'm not trying to criticize any of you as this happens in every online game ever, and is a natural and expected reaction to any sort of downtime. What I am saying though is if some of you were to step back and read your own posts you might very well laugh.

My own opinion? All games go offline periodically for maintenance or because they crash. Still I'm not saying people shouldn't complain. I mean it's very annoying every time it happens. What I am saying is some of us may be overreacting. STO is just a game. It's a very fun game that many of us, myself included, are addicted to, but it's still just a game.

Though I would like to complain about lockboxes being too addicting. I'm a lockbox junkie. Hopefully the next lockbox will hold a cure. I'll just have to keep opening them until I get one. Or two. Or three... I might go for the ship too... Help meh!

Ikr, thats funny as hell watching some of the Hardcore Gamers go off. Im a treki, always have been and a Hardcore gamer. Im not flien off the handle. I like to make fun of people who go nuts over upgrades to a system time down. lol Love the post.

But which Q is it? John DeLancie or Corbin Bernsen?

I guess it depends on who/what he feels like being at the time. =/

I think as recompense for this horrible inconvenience, the devs should give us all lock box keys for every box we've accumulated over the last year.

    You sir, are hilarious.

Something just occurred to me that is speculation, at best, but I'm an LTS and have been for 3 years and the end of the month is when I get my stipend. This was the first end of the month, ever, where no stipend came. I have a ticket in but I wonder if there is any account security issues involved.

    Just asking. Total speculation.

40 days subbed, only got stippend once so far. Same boat, it's 10 days late.

I know that you're probably asking yourself, "Why would a brilliant, handsome, dashingly omnipotent being like Q want to converse with a scrawny little bipedal specimen like me?" Who ever can answer that question bests gets a prize. It could be good. It could be bad. You'll have to play to find out.

oh please, don't blame the cryptic IT engineers, maintenance in 4 hours is fast enough you know, if you think about their server's size. And it's a good thing they shut it down at that time, to avoid network crash because heavy load since something didn't go right in the server.

Thats a five minute penalty for being responsible in a gaming forum!

No seriously, you're scaring the rest of us who are trying to put that off till later.
