Ive done every tribble test since launch and received all rewards, and STO closed beta. Also a LTS to STO. No invite still. I think ive been forgotten.
The beta is a limited number of people. They didn't say EVERYBODY who meets the criteria got invited to the first wave, they just gave an idea of the criteria that helped them pick their limited group.
Keep in mind that the beta server isn't as many machines as the live one, and thus can't handle as many concurrent users, and this is only the first round of testing.

STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
But apparently, I've been a very good Troll lately.

Went on tribble last night to test out the new science power arcs and decided to click on new character for a laugh, I now have a level 10 Romulan and bags under my eyes
No email, nothing in the junk mail folder either, very odd but looks like my plan to grind for my MkXII adapted MACO gear has been shelved.

Ive gotten a Romulan (Fed sided) all way up to lvl21 and other than Temporal Ambassador mission (which is last you can do) completed all the Romulan Storyline given to us yet.
Story is great, though as so many before me have stated, it scrolls FAR to fast. Also on replay there is No way to skip it..so would love that feature for replay on alts.
Really would love to have pulsewave assualt added to EC store on Romulan Floatilla or New Romulus atleast.
Bugs have been low, but painful when found, such as not able to join group for hours after doing one STF. Or "neutral no more" bugging that no enemies show up. But other than those which will be fixed without doubt swiftly the gameplay has been great.
Overall the expansion looks STUNNING and only thing im dreading is lvls 30-40 where im stuck in a blasted Cruiser style warbird...Love warbirds but cant stand slow turning cruise style ships..even if its a romulan warbird. Im hoping we get offed another science/escort/raptor style ship as well at that rank level.
Cheers to the Dev's (one of which showed up today on Tribble, T'Co? or something close to that), game looks great and just might be looking at switching my main over to Romulans.
I was pretty suprized to see my invite, I play casually (work and real life keep getting in my way) and like to hop on Tribble to play around like most. I have to say after looking at a lot of the posts that this thread is pretty much needing cheese and crackers for all the whine!

On the up side... You get a special engine that boosts your turn rates in one of the missions you do in the 20s.

an efficient engine (AWESOME its so early lol) and that engine that gives a +20% speed boost while under environmental effects...like that damn nebula in cardassian shipyard mission lol
I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

I'd say that depends on whether they (Cryptic) are satisfied with the amount/type of feedback so far; and remember, as they only have a limited time to really act on that Feedback, there probably comes a point where, while they want to see it continue; they may have selected and be acting on certain Feedback, and (barring anything Cryptic finds egregious that is pointed out to them) - they have a full plate running up to launch.
Then again, it could be their waiting until the next Tribble patch; or a certain date.

Hopefully they are fixing stuff before the next half...although yeah i see a lot of players antsy hanging out with D'deridex ships in orbit.
What I want to know is, since the next part is going to be Nimbus III, and that's a low level place, and a lot of the testers have just been leveling up to pass the time, how are they going to get a good read on it when players are doing it at high levels when it's finally opened?

In fact, that is precisely why I took a pause from testing on Tribble after finishing the Romulan storyline up to its currently final completable mission. Unfortunately, I had already levelled beyond the target at that point (I did what I would have ordinarily done - namely level up before doing missions that give special equipment for a while - before I realized that that wasn't suitable for the sort of testing Cryptic wants), though at least it is level 30 rather than level 50.
yeah, it'd be nice to have access to the beta, but I''ve been through stuff like this before, so I just get on with life, and if I get invited, then thats awesome, curious for when round 2 will be up though, if it will :P

nice to see you have given us a few new missions in `wastland` i was contacted as soon as i logged it to start the mission secrets of nimbus and told to go to nimbus 3.
i went to the system in question but on arrival could not progress beyond that, i was not even prompted to enter the system.
i also noticed my brige crew settings keep vanishing.
keep up the good work i sure it will all work nicly on the day. we hope!.

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I would think the best way to get a Round 2 invite is to be spending your free time in Tribble now, testing the new Fed or KDF stuff that coming with Season 8. That would show some interest in testing.
