    ive not had a problem with all weopons not working but today in CSE only half my weopons would fire not good when high dps tac cant fire his weopons to kill the neghs :(

    ive been having the same problem, ive been using auto-fire on weapons (using space bar to set off the sequence), doffs to reduce time on abilities etc. and keybinds which activates abilities and redistribues shields when i press space bar . . . i also mash space bar to keep my shields redistributed :)

    this first happened tonight during ISE . . . got a 2 min cd on everything during the first volley of my weapons. nobody else in my fleet is having this problem (that im aware of)

    ich kann nur sagen das es nicht an mir liegt oder meinen Pc .

    es ist erst seit gestern und davor ging alles .

    ich habe sogar den fehler 2 mal hintereinander gehabt also 4 min lang :(

    I have also since yesterday the bug and have not changed anything on my ship ...

    I can only say that it is not just me or my pc.

    it is only since yesterday, and before everything went.

    I even have the error 2 times in a row had so 4 minutes long: (

    Still have the problem on my jem hadar heavy escort carrier...using autofire...all abilities on 2 minutes cooldown during minefield, cure and infected :(

    Please solve this one !!

    Happened to me once yesterday and twice today. Everytime in a space STF.

    Whoa, there, guys. This thread was just started yesterday. Based on the couple of posts made by one of the devs (yes, an actual dev, not BranFlakes; check a couple pages back), they're still at the whole "reproduce internally and figure out what's wrong" stage.

    Is it frustrating? Yes - it's basically made STO unplayable. Am I unhappy and want it to be fixed RFN? Yes. But the devs aren't gods, nor are they even Q. They have to figure out what's wrong first before they can fix it, and given that there doesn't seem to be a common cause to the issue, from what I can tell, it may take some time.

    We're trying to reproduce this internally right now to get it fixed. I've gathered that KASE is a good place to do it, and recharge doffs MIGHT be a factor.

    It might have something to do with play style. How do you fire weapons? Do you hammer the space bar like a boss or are you more subtle, like a fox? Do you have auto-fire active? What's your opening volley look like, and are you using any keybinds to do it?

    I apologize for missing this earlier. (My earlier post wishing for a "we are aware and working to resolve this" was apparently already granted)

    Now to answer a few of your questions:

    I use auto fire but no key binds. The bug manifested itself regardless of whether or not I actually touched anything, BUT seems to trigger when a weapon or ability is used (automatically or not)

    I'm LOVING the TOS bridge and interior. I'm loving my new Ambassador ship!

    If my earlier post seemed a little harsh, it was only because I am like a big child and I just want to play with my toys...

    We've nailed some really good reproduction steps and a fix is in progress. Here's how we did it:

    1. We got 2 boffs who had beam overload and slotted those powers to tray 6.
    2. We bound Tray 6 to fire all, plus those powers, plus redistribute shield using the bind command up thread.
    3. We removed all doffs and all items not weapon related, including the shields, deflector, engine, and all consoles.
    4. We parked a dummy ship outside and starting whaling on the space bar. Like a boss.
    5. While said space bar was being whaled on, we were clicking on the Overload powers like there was no tomorrow.

    After about 30 seconds, everything went into cooldown. So we are pretty sure of what's going on, fix will be coming soon.

    Thanks to everyone in the thread for their help, plus the Gentlemen in the TTS chat channel for solving this mystery!

    EDIT: Keep in mind this is not THE way to do it, just A way to do it. YMMV

    this is most definitely a game breaking issue, it basically disables everything on my ship and lets the enemy have their way with me. not cool.

    im surprised with all my key bindings, fireing off 4+ powers placed in row 4 and 5, that i haven't run into this

    good that a fix is on the way

    but maybe can you use the Testserver better

    24h testing on it before the patch goes live is not enough make it a week !!
    18 Cpt on the way to 60: 14 of them are already 50 or over 50, one is 60 and 3 almost 43

    I've nothing in Tray 6.. But I do have Beam Overload. And In both battles may have triggered it, as a Means to boost damage.

    Ok I missed the posting about how they are working on it. So yeah I am and a few others are chomping at the bit some, BUT, the way it has been happening to me, I just figured it was a sick joke or the introduction to another BS type one shot kill proc but instead of it being a one shot you take the pounding in the rear till you blow proc. So on that note it is good (now that I have read the "trying to fix internally business" and it shows promise. But this one here isn't holding his breath. This bug has made this game unplayable for me almost completely.
    Every match I go into now I get the recycle on cool down and it is now consistantly at 2 minutes but once in a while i get proced for 5 min. Does this at random, and no matter what I am fighting, I've swapped bofffs, doffs, and many other things to find the same frustration. Especailly when you average 1st place finishes in a lot of the STF's it gets very irritating. Trying to grind is pointless cause any of the good gear you would have gotten is now wiped out cause you dps goes through the toilet when that proc hits, then you gotta sit there and watch while you die slow and painfully. Maybe if thier was a way for me not to have this happen every time i try to fight something, I'd be a little cooler about my methods and choices of words. Sure to many of you the stop "crying" comes to mind, but when there is such a great push to earn ec now whether its ships or equipment that day of lost earning potential (that might I add has now turned into 3 days for me) takes a bite out, plus if the ship or item sells cause someone else gets to it first, well wtf am i even trying to do anything on here for then. Thats what I'm getting at, and this has been reported before, through gm ingame by myself and many others so they knew about this almost right away, or they should have, so to me there really isn't an excuse for it IMO.

    i use trey 1-4 and have weapons on autofire sometimes in trey 10

    and autofire could be a part of the bug with manuell fire i think i dont have it but want autofire weapons back !! but i get the feeling even without autofire the bug still happend to me

    I totally agree with this +100 to this guy. I would rather be testing in tribble for a week and find these issues before they go live and actaully mess with my game play. GREAT IDEA!!

    Ive actually manged to double stack the cooldown on 2 occasions to up to 4mins... Happens to me reguralry. My weapons are set on autofire, the only key im pressing is space at times, to engage... the only ability that seems to cooldown faster than others, is launching my fighters, which gets out of cooldown 15 or 30 secs earlier than others, as I recall. Im flying a mirror voquv.

    With flyingtarg's help, we managed to whittle this bug down to 3 steps.

    1. Activate Engineering Team.
    2. Activate Beam Overload.
    3. Fire twice.

    No keybinds needed, no complicated macros, no messing about with build orders. 3 steps. Elementary!

    So the fix is coming. In the meantime, if you can avoid using engineering team, you shouldn't have this problem anymore. if you have the problem without engi team, please let us know!

    In the name of science, I'll go switch from my cruisers to an cannon-based escort and see if I can break it.

    I use BO w/ ET on my cruisers, and ET w/o BO on my escort.

    fark I noticed today that on my Vesta whenever I launched a wing of Danube Runabouts the cooldown timer (30s) dropped to 29,28 and again jumped to 30 multiple times. This happened more than once.

    I don't know if it is related to this issue, but I thought mentioning would be some kind of necessary.

    Tested this in the Tau Dewa dailies and happened every time
    - no ET used
    - Aux was at max
    - No Flight Deck doffs equipped
    - In combat and out of combat

    I have noticed with my Galor that randomly when BO3 fires it will set me to a 2 min cool down. I would hear that it fired and at same time the cool down hit but it never fired. But that is random, but at the 2 times it happened I was auto firing and was not hitting any other buttons. So it has to pretty much BO3 for my char, cause all my char that it has happened to all use BO3.

    Did a teammate throw an Engineering Team on your ship? (just in case it was a PvP situation?)

    I don't use Eng team on the ship that ran into the bug, use Beam overload though.
