    how about some insane build crafting? this is proboly what i would run out of the gate. not that i plan on legitimizing this thing with a purchase

    3DHC/3 beam arrays

    With my Tactical Escort Retrofit, 17 turn rate, at 52/30 engine power, the Advanced Fleet Hyper-Impulse Engine [turn]x3 [spd], Tachyokinetic Converter, and RCS mk XII (purple), I get a turn rate of 42.6.

    Turn rate for the Vesta will probably be around 39-40 with the same hardware/power level.

    I find it funny they ship has 3 for and aft slots but it really has 4 fore weapons because of the aux phaser duel heavy. This is such an oped ship and with tractor pet spam it will be way oped. I'm a sci capt and I honestly don't feel this ship. It's to much like an escort. I've always piped in a sci ship and plan to always do so but this ship is insane. I expect them to need it after 3000 sales that way they will have all the money they can get off it and then laugh.

    im 99% sure that dhc acts like a console, as in its a slotted weapon like the quad cannons

    And I just bought Acc x3 weapons finally... Why oh why did I have to bind them.

    If you just got them they should be account bound so you should be able to move them around your toons as you please.

    if you want to know how the vesta will handle, take a recon sci for a spin, it has 13 turn as well

    with the number of ways this ship can control movement, if you use weapons on it with a single acc mod your doing it wrong. im just saying that in general

    This is the worst pile of steaming junk they have dumped on this game since the time ship junk.

    It really really feels like they are trying to cash in before they pull out doesn't it ?

    At this point I think I would rather be playing wow or something. lmao

    Cryptic is with out a doubt the most short sighted developer ever... PvP is already annoying with all the time ships ... there now going to dump this on the game. PvP if it wasn't already is dead... PvE is boring. All that is left to do now is decide which other game I will spend my time in.

    i don't think the servers will go down. they will stop making content for this game very soon though.

    hell, FFXI online servers are still up with 75k users.

    That was my first thought also, my Second was that this ship will turn me into a pugger since more of my fleet seems to be leaving the game..

    Each comes with 1. Buy the pack and you'll have 3 total. They may have intended you use all 3 together? Though you'd TRIBBLE over your sci powers if aux was always drained from cannonfire.

AT ALL. you can put everything in 3 of 4 subsystems and be impacted in 0 way. this ship is so over powered, its twice as good as the next best thing.

    Didn't even think about that.

    Go with 3 Transphasics up front and TBR 3. Pop off your Aux-powered Cannon to burn through shields AND eat up your Aux to TBR 3 can melt them.

    i really don't see how they could have made a more overpowered ship, i don't think its possible. well, unless they did silly things like give it a 2.0 shield mod, 20 turn, 60K hitpoints. i mean without grossly exceeding stat parameters it isn't possible to make anything better then this. it has literally everything. the best pet, the best weapon, the moat crippling skills available, the most synergistic station and console setup possible, and BS console powers.

    heres what a vesta that would neatly fit with in the game in a balanced way would look like

    Rank Required: Vice Admiral
    Hull Strength: 27,800
    Shield Modifier: 1.30
    Crew: 750
    Weapons: 3 Fore, 3 Aft
    Device Slots: 3
    Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Lieutenant Tactical, 1 Lieutenant Engineering, 1 Commander Science, 1 Ensign Universal, 1 Lieutenant Commander Universal
    Base Turn Rate: 10 degrees per second
    Impulse Modifier: 0.16
    Sensor Analysis
    Subsystem Targeting
    Can Equip Cannons
    0 Hangar Bays
    +15 Power to Auxiliary Systems
    Console Modifications: 3 Tactical, 2 Engineering, 4 Science

    I agree.

    Hangar bays were really too much... Seriously. Let me guess, they'll make it able to slot Danubes too.

    It's in the main list of stats -so you can chain tractor someone:

    ?1 Hangar Bay ? with 1 wing of Danube Runabouts
