    Change isn't scary so much as uncomfortable in this case. Especially, when the change is a SIGNIFICANT downgrade from what was offered previously. A lot of threads that had pictures are now broken. And everyone is irritated perhaps justifiably so about losing access to quite a bit of content and options not to mention that many have had their previous forum identities nearly scrambled.

    its also been made annoyingly complicated, before i could just log on with the same details as my STO account, have my information there and be done, but now i have to create a new PWE account using their bull TRIBBLE rules about names and passwords, loose my signature and my avatar, and for what? nothing

    Scary Thread? More like angry customers! There was 0 warning this was coming. And we went from:

    • A nice and clean forum to the dregs.
    • We lost our personal avatars. (Which was a key to IDing people).
    • We lost our Forum / account names that we had for over 2 years.
    • Lost or original Join Date (which some of us prided in supporting STO since 2008).
    • Our new accounts require more work to get in. ("Remember Account" doesn't work).
    • We can't buy anything from the C-store because Zen is broken. And we have to wait 10 days to get Zen.
    • People are having problems with their Mail.
    • And when you edit the thread, you get sent to a page with an Admin Warning instead to the forum you just posted in.



    And I know I'm leaving other things. So yeah, it's not "scared", its more like

    Yeah no kidding, you hit that on the head, should have also said tho that all our anger and feedback will be ignored even more by our PWE overlords than it was by Cryptic. Telling us this was going to happen would have beeen courtesy but more than that its called CUSTOMER SERVICE, something PWE knowns NOTHING about.... Once again Cryptic users get s... on....

    I can change MAC all day too... In fact, changing the MAC is the quickest way I have of changing my IP.
