soon the gladiator arrives in the system.

    cole: status report

opps: sir wehave what appears to be a temporal anomily near the planet with a squad of advanced romulan ships guarding it.

cole:what do you mean by advanced

opps: they match romulan design but the power readings are not romulan sir.

cole: alright people send a message to admiral allen top priority.

" admiral allen im sending you the coordinates of a possible staging area. we cant wait for additional ship at this time. so we are going to engage if you dont hear back from me soon we have failed sending you the position now."

    Comm officer: message sent sir.

cole sits in his command chair."bring the ship to full battle alert we are going in prep the arc phasers and topredo bays keep us cloaked and bring both shields online."

the ship begins moviing into position and soon opens fire on the romulan vessels. the romulan vessels are quick to respond as they begin firing in areas trying to pinpoint the attacking ship. after about 20 min 2 of the 6 romulan vessels have been destroyed and one has suffered heavy damage.

opps: sir there is a shipcoming through the anomily!

    cole: on screen now!

    soon a iconian vessel appears

cole: drop the damned cloak and but all auxilarry power to shields prepare to get us....

his order is cut short as a blast from the iconian vessel rips through the ship tearing a hole right through it.

as explosions ring out on the bridge

opps: sir we have lost pressure on decks 8 through 25 warp core is gone weapons are offline. we dont have sensors or shields and we barely have life support.

cole: realise an emergency beacon then get the rest of the crew to the escape pods give me control of the ship. as the officers on the bridge run for the pods cole smiles o himself they want to dance lets dance.
" serina acctivate the nova device lets see how good it really is"
soon the ship begins to regenerate itself and in a matter of moments is full again. cole begins firing at the iconian vessel with the arc phasers and manages to seal moderate damage before a volley from the iconian vessel tears his ship in half.

and before cole can move he is transported onto a romulan vessel where is stunned before he can even move.

cole wakes up dazed but alive. he quickly looks around then silenty curses to himself as he realizes where he is.

cole: damn the avalanche was supposed to beam me out not the romulans.

soon two guards walk in a gesture him to step out. as he steps out he feels for a hidden pocket in his uniform as he pulls out his hidden blade he quickly dispatches the two guards before either one can me a sound. he then begins to silenty move around the complex trying to find out where he is. he soon enters a dark room and stops in there. soon the lights flash on as a squad of romulans and a romulan officer step into the room.

romulan: you can come quitly or we can make this hurt.

cole defitly throughs the blade as it enters the romulan officer at his heart.but is quickly overwhelmed by the rest of the romulans.soon after he is interrigated for hours.

*Fleet Admiral Allen rushes over to the console as he reads the message he becomes stern*

Captain... gather the Captains and inform Quale that I will need more ships. Also inform Admiral Soval's escort. Also have VA's Rei and Bat'rak work with the Klingons and gain back their territory. Also hail Vice Admiral Derek Ross and have his fleet and MACO troops to come as well. Bring Vice Admiral Val as well. We need an upper hand.

Iquachest and Lubes you will have to work it double time to fix the fleet. We need to get as many bodies as we can. Also have species 9042 make up the vanguard.

*U.S.S. Exeter, Romulan-Federation Neutral Zone Combat Patrol. On special Assignment: Escort Vessel for Operation Shadow Watcher.*

Capt. Smith: ****. We can't contact Admiral Soval while he's in the Neutral Zone. Contact Starbase 41 and inform Admiral Allington of the situation.

*U.S.S. Sao Paulo, The Neutral Zone. Approaching Iconia.*

    Soval: On Screen.

*On the viewscreen, a large orbital complex is being built over Iconia, with at least 50 Warbirds guarding.*

    Soval: Sensors?

Sylix: Enough neutrino readings for a much larger fleet lying in wait.

Soval: B'ojuk, Tactical analysis on that base.

B'ojuk: it's 3 times the size of the Vault and has a large enough arsenal to wipe out a planet in one rotation.

T'las: I think it's safe to say that the rebels are operating out of this system.

Soval: Indeed. Life signs on the planet?

Sylix: A large cluster of life forms, Romulan, approximately 5km west of the Complex we destroyed a year ago.

    Soval: Surviving Iconian Technology?

    Sylix: Most likely.

Soval: Load a quantum torpedo with Teracyte for launch.

T'las: Sir? That would destroy all inorganic compounds in orbit.

Soval: The Warbirds' shields will protect them and the planet's atmosphere will screen out the compound. We cannot allow that station to be fully constructed. Configure the torpedo for remote detonation.

    T'las: Aye, sir.

    *A few minutes later*

    T'las: Ready, sir.

    Soval: Release the torpedo.

*A slot opens up in the vastness of space and a torpedo casing drops out of it*

Soval: Get us out of here, Ores. Set course for our rendezvous with the Exeter.

    Ores: Aye, sir.

    Soval: Engage.

T'las: We're clear of the blast range, sir.

    Soval: Detonate.

T'las: It'll give away our position.

    Soval: Detonate.

*The torpedo explodes and a large shockwave blasts outwards. The Romulan ships decloak and raise shields, protecting them from the blast, while the station is vaporized, apart from the central core.*

    *Location: Unknown*
Unkown figure 1: It has begun.

Unkown figure 2: Could these be the ones responsible?

Figure 1: No. But they may prove helpful in finding our refuge. Inform the fleet we are changing course for Sector 109 in this Galaxy. The planet they call... Bajor.

*Outside, a fleet of thousands of alien ships, covered in red markings with prongs protruding from all over, enter Slipstream space. Their destination: The Federation via the Cardassian Union.*

after spending about 2 hours in the cell the romulans come back and drag him off again.this time the starp him into a chair and put a device around his head.

romulan: this device is something we got from the iconians. once w have broken you with it we can pull whatever information we need right out of you. but first we just have to break you.

so once again the interigation egins anew.

General Torpal- What is the status of the Klingon front?

Torpal: The Romulans have driven us back to Mempa Sector. Generals Megh'tor and Worf are preparing a counter-attack as we speak but we need Federation Support. If you could just retake Khitomer Sector we would be able to drive the petaQ' back to their own borders.

*A holographic image appears in the room. It is Admiral Soval.*
Soval: Admiral Allen. It is imperative that we launch a full assault on Iconia immediately! I'm speaking to you from my bridge, using the Conference room's EMH holo-emitters. We have found a Romulan Military base over Iconia, they're scavenging left-over Iconian technology and reverse-engineering it for use on their ships. We only detected Romulan Life-signs. I'm having all of the 41st Fleet's ships report to Starbase 39 under our shared command. I'll be...ing you...tly...reca...rate the ...chyon flow! That's better. Sorry Admiral, we're getting systems malfunctions here. Recommend you not attempt to download our memory banks until we've wiped our computers. We may have caught an Iconian Computer virus. There are well over 500 Romulan D'Deridex class Warbirds with over 600 support ships. There's also an Orbital complex being built. We let off a device that eliminated most of the base but the Central Core is still intact and is heavily armed. We will reach you in approximately two hours. Sao Paulo out.

*The Holo-image of Admiral Soval cuts off.*

Torpal: *Curses in Klingon* Even with all our forces combined we only have enough ships to hit one of those targets. How did "rebels" get that many ships? Why isn't the Star Empire trying to stop them? I say the Empire plans to take the spoils of war while the rebels still offer them the deniability! This is a pretty fantasy the Proconsul has conjured up to keep us from burning Rator III to ashes!

*Orias System, Cardassian Defence Vessel Tok'ra, Galor Class*

Gul: Unidentified Vessels! You are trespassing in Cardassian Space! Identify yourselves immediately! Or face the consequences!

Glinn: No response. They may still be translating our messa--

    Gul: We warned them. FIRE!

*The Galor fires on the lead Vessel. No damage is done. The lead Alien vessel fires an energy dampening weapon at the Galor and completely disables it. The Alien Fleet then continues on course to Bajor.*

Soval, I think that looking at our present situation we either need to ignore Iconia or Ignore the Cardassia Bajor region.

One of these is a ploy to get us to commit and leave a section to fall. If we lose Iconia its not really a big loss but leaves the neutral zone open for more attacks. But If Bajor falls not only is the Borg task force cut off from the rest of the Federation but we lose our connection to DS9 and the prophets.

General, Vice Admiral Rei Ross and Vice Admiral Bat'rak should be attacking Khitomer as we speak giving you enough time to push them back. Admiral Soval how many ships do you have on call?

Vice Admiral Derek Ross, you and Fleet Admiral Quale will spear head with Soval to press Iconia and Keep them on their toes.

Me and Vice Admiral Val will spearhead to Bajor and ensure that DS9 and Bajor are not under attack. If they are this will be complicated.

I am sending battle strategies to all of you, I won't lie to you we are in very deep. The Romulan Government... for pretense is probably using this as the General has stated and is a perfect way for them to ensure the spoils. Its only logical for them and perfect means for revenge against all of us. Admiral Soval meet the USS Dogos Gear and the fleet. You will know the place.

Unknown Figure 2: They have activated their energy deflection shields. Should I--

Unknown Figure 1: Keep shields down. And if they begin scanning, take no hostile action. Give them a good look.

Figure 2: How long before they simply assume we're hostile?

Figure 1: Very well. Open Communications Channels.

    Figure 2: Open.

Figure 1: This is Admiral Tarlon of the Tlachine Refugee fleet. We come in peace and formally ask your Federation for Political Asylum.

*OOC: If this were a TV show, this is where the dramatic music would kick in before going to the opening credits. ;)*

Admiral Tarlon, This is Fleet Admiral Allen of the United Federation of Planets. We would have you come aboard my vessel, I prefer face to face meetings.

Admiral Tarlon, This is Fleet Admiral Allen of the United Federation of Planets. We would have you come aboard my vessel, I prefer face to face meetings.

Unknown Figure 2: Sir, what if it's a trap?

Tarlon: I am ready for transport, Admiral Allen.

    *Meanwhile, in Romulan Space.*

Romulan Officer: Impressive, Vice Admiral Soval. Our mind probes struggle to extract any data from your mind, though I'm not sure what I was expecting from a Vulcan. I do have cruder and less comfortable methods at my disposal, but, it would make matters much easier on the 2 of us if you simply told us what we want to know.

Soval: You haven't asked me any questions yet.

Romulan Officer: You know what I want to know.

    *Elsewhere in the complex.*

Romulan Officer 2: What was your mission?

Ores: Ores, Lieutenant, Starfleet. Serial Number: 1003 *Officer nods to guards, who subsequently raise their weapons at Ores and Commander Gardra* 987--

    Gardra: Shut up!

*Elsewhere (again. What ever happened to public torture? jks)*

T'las: You know these mind probes won't coerce a Vulcan to break without killing them, so what do you hope to gain?

Romulan Officer 3: Medical Examination shows that you're only half Vulcan. One of your parents was Human? Name and rank?

T'las: Steven Rogers, Captain. U.S. Army. *Sarcastic*

Romulan Officer 3: Wrong. T'las Maryland, Commander, Starfleet. Serial number: 10034779033. Born in Chicago, Earth. Your Mother was Vulcan, your Father, Human. You suppressed your emotions to the same level as the average Human so you could absorb experiences from both worlds and you're--

T'las: Am I supposed to be impressed? You could have gotten that out of the ship's computer banks with relative ease.

Romulan Officer 3: And you're currently engaged in a Romantic relationship with Vice Admiral Soval, your Commanding Officer.

*T'las exhibits a state of shock on her face*

Romulan Officer 3: We have agents everywhere. Problem? Now, let's try this again. Name and rank?

T'las: Katherine Janeway, Cap-- *Is electrocuted. Cries out in pain*

Romulan Officer 3: That was level 1. The level goes as high as 55. Level 10 is enough to kill a human. Level 15, enough to kill a Vulcan. Really want to see how much DNA you have from either race?

    *Back to Soval*

Soval: We were investigating Iconia under suspicions that the rebels were using it as a base from which to attack the Federation.

Romulan Officer 1: And you found something?

    Soval: Yes.

    Romulan Officer 1: What?

Soval: If I tell you, you must promise me you'll release my crew and ship, and to give my story a full hearing before the Continuing Committee.

Romulan Officer 1: You have my word, on the brink of my duty as a Romulan Commander.

Soval: Very well. Could you get it cleared first?

Romulan Officer 1: Of course. *Taps wrist communicator.* All teams, cease interrogation of the prisoners.
