EDIT: DPS parse:
Me: 27k. (in fairness, I spent a lot of time racing around and cloaking to avoid death)
Bob: 2.5k.
DPS Epeen: .5k.
Jim: 437.
Freddy: 312.
That's just pathetic.
I'm sorry, but there must be something wrong with that parsing.
The numbers of Jim and Freddy can be done with a single shot of any weapon before adding modifiers.
My first experience with ISA post-DR, tonight, getting kicked out of the instance for the BS fail condition and slapped with a cooldown.
That officially put an end to my running all but a few trusted queues that are harder to trigger an autofail. Why? Not because our team lost, but because it is not fun and because I strongly consider the Advanced STF's to have been falsely advertised (Exactly the "same" as the old Elites? I think NOT.).
And you know what the greatest irony is? Finding out from the fleetmate who was running a parser that I had actually posted numbers I didn't think my CC build was capable of putting out. Nothing that "special," but not the weaksauce I thought it was either. So yeah, I apparently have a functional build, and no fun places to take it. Sad.
This is why the queues are dying: one disappointed and frustrated player at a time.

Don't forget that they have damaged ships and spend most of the time on respawn cooldown.
Just did a KSA, and watched some player just merrily fly from left to right straight past a mob of 4 or 5 probes headed to the gateway without even opening fire on them, then they target the left gate and die about 3 seconds later.
It's almost like people don't read the mission journal or summat.
Warp in and find we've only got 4 players....great start .
So we start off and me in a Pathfinder and a Tempest go off after a 1 whilst the other 2 (a Samsar and not sure what the other guy was) go after a 2.
Samsar is dead within a minute and never respawns. So much for being a great tank...
Tempest does a brilliant alpha strike on the Tholians and I try to sneak in behind them to free the NPC. Trouble is they are in full on BFAW mode and i get hit with the crossfire so i get noticed and then we have to fight our way out of that mess. Luckily my GW3 sucks them up and we CSV and TS them to death.
Now we head over to help the Samsar & friend on the 2 and see he's already dead and his friend has run off. But the game lags massively for some reason and all our opening attacks misfire slowing us up by at least 30 seconds.
Now the last guy is of on his own and the south side going after a 2 but he's at least 30km from the NPC getting smashed to pieces and has some serious aggro problems.
There's only 20 seconds left with 4 beams up and a swarm of Tholians spamming torps and BFAW all over the shop.
No chance to succeed but me and the Tempest gave it a good shot.

In the vast sea off bad PUGs in ISA, i think i just hit a low point.
I just grinded out a brand new Faeht for my new-ish and somewhat neglected Romulan tac alt (to put things in perspective, he hasn't finished his reputations yet and has blue tac consoles), so i wanted to test it in the usual environment and see how much of an improvement is it over the Chell Grett. The rest is standard stuff, romulan plasma DHCs, KCB, turrets, Counter-command deflector and 2pc Nukara. Since i spend all my EC on... stuff, i couldn't buy intel manuals, so my Boffs were standard stuff. It's a max 16k dps build.
Knowing that PUGs can go either way, it was a risk, but i was hoping to see at least one hard-hitting ship at the beginning...
What i got was 3x Samsar and a Breen carrier.
And one of the Samsars left the game the very next second.
The first cube + spheres took about 5-7 minutes. To make things worse, none of us were bad players, just completely dps challenged. Oh, and one of them was carrying TOS phasers and decided to stay near me as much as possible. Seriously, that zinging sound, it can drive a man insane. At several points during this neverending STF i wished someone would hit me with scramble sensors just so i could shoot him down and make the zinging stop.
I immediately commented on the hopelessness of this situation, as we were scratching the surface of the left cube, and it turned to desperation as we were destroying the generators and nanites started to appear. Then something even worse than failing the objective happened - the nanites were stopped. It turned out that ALL OF US were carrying some sort of crowd control, so the next half hour was made up of constant cycles of gravity wells, warp plasmas and TBRs, while some of us (mostly me) were trying to kill stuff with 7 digit HPs.
And that guy with the most annoying phasers in the galaxy, he was also there. Zinging. Allways zinging...
It was basically STO purgatory.
After the left side was cleared, in what seamed like the better half of the day, the carrier guy said "this takes too long" and scrambled out. I was hoping this will be the end of our misery, as the three of us can't finish it, but then the lost Samsar guy reappeared, apologized for the delay and went on to - throw a gravity well on the right cube.
Ok. So it was "The Neverending STF, Part II.".
By the time we finished the right side, i wasn't even looking at the screen, but just slamming my space key an staring at a spot on the wall. I tried to see how many spheres can i shoot down while doing eights between them or playing the "count the crits" game, but nothing helped. We were going to finish this, just not this month, it seems...
The gate was a whole different experience. Since i was doing all the dps, i also got it's attention, and lacking the embassy consoles and being a squishy little warbird, combined with the focused hatred of the borg transwarp gate in it's unnatural longevity - i died. Often.
On the bright side, it was no longer boring, i had stuff to do, like fly from point A (respawn) to point B (the gate).
Then the tac cube. I lost track of time as i was endlessly dancing around the 5 km line and getting caught in the tractor just so i could pull out.
Then it was over. The cube exploded, the zinging died, and i warped out, wandering what day is it.
Then it was over. The cube exploded, the zinging died, and i warped out, wondering what day is it.
It took one hour and twelve minutes...
I just... I'm out. *throws stuff*
Oh god. I'm looking through ISA logs. And my first instinct was "72 minutes? Your dps, and the team's, must have been god-awful". And then I remembered, regeneration occurs. Literally the day DR hit, I was talking about CC in ISA with Jena, and one of the side things noted was how much more damage you have to do in longer runs. Example:
Pug - duration 8:46 - total damage: 46.4 million
Channel Run - duration 2:25 - total damage 43.4 million
Run with friends - duration 2:48 - total damage 39.2 million
Run with friends - duration 3:54 - total damage 39.6 million
Run with friends - duration 3:12 - total damage 41.3 million
(as a side note, it looks like that last change to transformer HP may have bumped up the total damage requirement roughly 7 million hp, increasing the team dps requirement for the 15 minute barrier ~1.5k per person).
Even if it was some awful 60 million hp to finish the queue, or up an extra 50% because healing, that works out to... just under 14k team dps. I'm sorry. Your team is literally the worst.

Freddy goes "laff u suck" and his core breach kills a sphere.
This is in less than twenty seconds.
I'm stunned.
So I hit every buff and stay alive long enough to kill the cube just as the dead guys respawn. Bob and Steve make it 2.5 seconds against the gate before blowing up.
Jim is ranting about how much DPSers suck and he wants his ISA to take MORE than five minutes, thank you very much. Bob and Steve are complaining that the Borg are OP. Freddy is laughing and calling them idiots.
So I kill the generators and the cube, Jim howling at me the whole time, and just blitz the spheres as Jim slowly works on the transformer. Freddy eventually gets over to help him, but it takes over four minutes.
Bob and Steve try two more times to shoot the gate and complain that "its bug" because they're such elite DPS monsters that they should be able to kill it alone.
I bite my tongue and keep shooting, repeating what I did on the other side as Jim shrieks. Freddy gets bored, helps polish off a wave of spheres, giving me a few precious seconds to unload onto the transformer.
Well, long story short, we get it down, barely, with 2 minutes on the clock.
So no optional.
Bob and Steve are still shooting the gate and dying, and I mean like shooting a few rainbow turrets without boff powers and with 11-plus injuries and dying. Jim is somewhat quieter now, but is still complaining that not enough people tank in this game and his hull HP is so elite he can survive anything.
Then gets killed by the gate, as I tank the tac cube's OP firepower.

A singletarget phantom... The evil dps-er saving the day... well, honestly, if I hadnt need the data from that run, I would have just cloaked and watch the (than ensuing) epic fail at transformer #2.
I presume ppl are correct, that DPS-ers shouldnt pug, so players who underperform dont get the achievement of winning an advanced stf.
I'm... in physical pain after reading that. I'm sorry this happened to you.
It was abject misery.
There are missions that are tough but fun because everyone's fighting smart and you're still teeth-clenched struggling for every last bit of ground and one mistake means you're dead and it feels like the best moments from DS9...and then there is this.
So I found today that apparently I'm listed in the DPS League and I'm in DPS-10k. Which is nice for my ego.
Anyway...
HGE premade with PESTF. 4 dudes who knew what they were doing and 1 n00b who made toilet jokes and got killed in the first 5 seconds.
Which set the tone.
None of us were DPS-Prime level, but we were good. We managed the first two rooms in good time despite the n00b making toilet jokes and complaining that we should heal him because his DPS was so leet (even though he didn't have a MACO set and complained that he didn't see why he needed any special gear, and got killed by every single electrical floor), but you just can't 4-man the Queen with a PESTF-level team, especially when two of the four men (myself included ) get caught in the electric floor.
Then I, trying to reposition as the floor primed under me, accidentally rolled off of the edge. Which was embarrassing.
Assuming that I was average for the 4 competent guys, we were packing mk 12 MACO or adapted KHG sets. I had a tr-116 MK 14 gold that I bought off of the exchange, too.
Just couldn't DPS enough, then we wiped with 14 seconds to go thanks to the n00b.
Ugh.
tl;dr: Reasonably competent team with 1 n00b who didn't see why he had to follow standard strategy got sunk by the n00b Leeroying stuff and some bad luck.
We... actually finished it....
But not sure what to make of that one digit dps...
BOT!? LEECHEER!??? TROLL!!!!!?
Should I just release the name and handle here?
...660 is pretty damn good.
130 is...meh.
35 and 34 are bad.
1 is...how???????????
Don't release the name, it's against TOS.
I parse around 300 DPS in most ground missions (good gear, tac buffs, aim, commando spec, traits), and once parsed 1.1k over a 15-second period of magnificence as the entire team's buffs hit at once and my split beam exploit power hit (my sustained DPS for that mission was around 400, a number I have never beaten). 660 is pretty freaking good. 1 is...
Just like how if you scroll down to the bottom of the DPS-League's ISA chart, you'll see [REDACTED] at 9.3 dps. In space. I mean, he managed to be counted in-combat 94% of the time, otherwise the upload wouldn't have gone through, but still... 9793 total damage over a 18:16 duration ISA.

I've seen 62 DPS in space, I've NEVER seen anything that bad.
I have to assume he was constantly healing, and his only damage was a warp core breach. That's the only thing that makes any sense.
but you need to shoot to pull aggro, right? At least in most cases? And in ISA, where everyone's shooting, someone who isn't shooting isn't going to pull anything, right?
Oh, and I had a CCA fail today. No joke. Easiest advanced in the game, failed.

Healing pulls aggro. Not enough to be noticeable to most people, but in an ISA already taking 18 minutes, it actually might do it. And some of those core breaches can one-shot you - it's not hard to believe that someone could get killed by the breach of the second or third cube and get ~10k damage on the transformer with their core breach.

I'm... in physical pain after reading that. I'm sorry this happened to you.

It was abject misery.
There are missions that are tough but fun because everyone's fighting smart and you're still teeth-clenched struggling for every last bit of ground and one mistake means you're dead and it feels like the best moments from DS9...and then there is this.

BOT!? LEECHEER!??? TROLL!!!!!?
Should I just release the name and handle here?
Then when I come here and read threads, I really have no idea what anyone is talking about thanks to confusing language and acronyms.
So much about the way this game works is counter-intuitive.
...660 is pretty damn good.
1 is...
I don't think that's even possible.
"I'm healing I'm helping!"
Just like how if you scroll down to the bottom of the DPS-League's ISA chart, you'll see [REDACTED] at 9.3 dps. In space. I mean, he managed to be counted in-combat 94% of the time, otherwise the upload wouldn't have gone through, but still... 9793 total damage over a 18:16 duration ISA.

how...

Wow. I really have been lucky with my PUGs if I've never learned that.
