Well said. It is nice to know there are alot more Kindred spirits in this regard than some would like to admit. BUt I have faith the game wil continue to grow nicely. 1701-A/Reliant Bridge Next Please. lol

Hey, don't leave out the Excelsior bridge!

Actually, not sure which I'd perfer to see. The NX-2000 bridge (ST III) or the NCC-2000 bridge (ST VI, VOY: Flashback)

You might add to your list that there is a suspected issue with the interior being incompatible with doing the recent Romulan Feature Series, as the Ready Room doesn't exist and you can't complete the mission with the TOS interior.

Also, all the chairs on the bridge seem to face the viewscreen instead of their duty stations.

And, the mission replay is in the conference room, instead of the Captain's Office, which was the TOS version of the Ready Room.

Still, it's a fantastic interior, and my girlfriend whole-heartedly agrees!

I'd have to test Mine Enemy to check where to interface the computer to finish the mission before saying it was incompatible.

I agree, the mission replay terminal should be at the captain's desk in her quarters. It did function as the ready room in the original series.

One other thing I noticed last night when I was touring my new interior: The captain's desk computer monitor shows the medical display more commonly seen above the beds in sick bay.

Don't forget, the Constitution class Enterprise bridges got a makeover pretty much through all 6 films across both ships.

Not to mention that many of the bridge style of that era was carried forth though much of TNG/DS9/Voy eras.

    Heck, I want them all:

True enough, I believe even the Prometheus bridge was a redress of the original Ent-A / Excelsior bridge.

I love the TOS interiors. I was in geek heaven.

However, there was one disappointing fact:

It cost 1,000 energy credits for my brand new level 2 Ensign to put that ship interior into her Connie, and of course she did not have any money.

Is there some way to address this, just to make sure new players get to enjoy their TOS interior + exterior for the maximum amount of time, without having to save up the money to "install" it?

At first I was unsure whether to get it, but I decided to and I'm not regretting it! Very impressed! I can't wait for a TNG pack or maybe a VOY pack.

Is it just me or is the NPC generation slightly off?
I was checking out my new(old) paint and noticed that every female on the entire ship (excluding BoFF's) was a Vulcan , then it also hit me that all the men were Human.
Those were the only two species represented by the NPC's.

Just you. I have multiple species wandering around my interior.

I also love the TOS bridge pack, they really got the feel right.
Okay it has some flaws, like engineering and sickbay, but overall it's quite good.

@Dragarr: I guess it's only you, since i got multiple species wandering around.
I already spotted some trill, tellarites, vulcans, bajorans and us "plain" humans ofcourse.

On the wandering NPC subject: It is very nice to see normal TOS races walking around. My regular interior ends up looking like a Dwarf convention.

I also think that the pathing is much improved over the first set of interiors. It feels a bit more lively and like the people have a purpose or are doing something. All too often the first interiors looked like half the crew was just out for a constitutional.

I soooo Totally agree. This has to be the best bridge interior they have come out with to date! Before this I rarely spent time in my interior, now I am there all the time. Thank you STO!

I would love an Excelsior Bridge pack too. There already are four variants in canon.

    Experimental Excelsior
    Commissioned Excelsior
    Enterprise B Excelsior
    Lakota Excelsior

I like the TOS interior as well.

But I would hope that before the add any more new era interiors they go back and rescale the current crop of bridges and interiors.

Or they could spend their limited time remaking the 25th century interiors. You know the time period in which the game actually takes place.
You do realize that most people want stuff from the actual shows right. TNG pack is something we all want. (well besides you) Great work on the TOS Value Bundle I love it all the uniforms all of it amazing work guys. Keep it up. I love it.

That's the essential debate. Neither of you will convince the other, so just agree to disagree, please, before this turns into another "canon vs game"-style debate.

Seriously, all you people who buy these things on top of your monthly sub.. You're just encouraging the developers to continue with shoddy practices. I hope Cryptic takes a shot at an IP you actually give a TRIBBLE about one day, and see what you think then.

Well i have a lifetime so the C store doesn't bother me.

Also not everything in the C-Store is not game breaking and the things that are have an ingame way of obtaining them via emblems.

The C-Store is just a way to get things you don't have the time to grind for.

Nice job on the TOS pack; excellent quality on the interior. I hope to see more of these in the future (TNG). I'm not a die-hard TOS-fan, but I am enjoying the variety and couldn't resist trying out the new interior.

I encourage you to check Darren-Killor's new chart on c-store items vs. regular in game items. The chart will tell you if a c-store item has an in game method of obtaining said item. You might be surprised by looking at the chart.

My only real request is that now that we have level-scaling TOS torpedoes for the Shuttle, can the TOS Connie pre-order get them as well?

I'd very much like to see STO become more canon, but I think this is just superb work!

I've actually created an alt to play as a TOS character. It might not fit with the 25th century era, but it's just too good to ignore.

You know something, right now, I just feel like forgetting about the 25th century storyline and doing some good old RPing.

Now all I need is some TOS missions created with the foundry and I'm sorted. :)

Oh, and does the TOS shuttle that comes in the pack have an interior? I thought they were working on shuttle interiors....it would be a real shame if this shuttle didnt have an interior.

The Class F Shuttle does not have an interior.

I can only add to the previous comments: Really really really nice work! THAT's exactly how the interior should look like. It has a good scale, ambientsound perfectly! Gratulations to the designer!

Now i'm really looking forward to a similar scaled TNG-Version, and a scaled down Version of the previous exsisting 'modern' ship interior.

Now I have to point out a few bugs I noticed:

    1) You have to head to the Bridge to get the "Leave the Ship" Option.

    2) You can summon as many Type 2 Phasers as you want. (Not sure this was intentional or not).

Rewards: The TOS Tunic, felt like it was too open than what Shatner had for his costume. Should be more like a V-neck than going down to the breast area.

The Type 2 Phaser, found it funny it was weaker than the Type 2 you got from the Davidian Mission.

    1. Transporter Room beam out ... PLEASE!!!!
    2. I haven't bought the pack yet, pay-day is Friday, but I'm hoping this is intended.. so you can equip your Bridge Officers for your away missions.. heh

As far as the TOS Tunic... I think it's pretty much spot on actually:

I bought the TOS bundle and I’ve got to say it’s so … Trekkie. Thanks Cryptic, when am I going to play the game now? I don’t want to leave the bridge. The visual details are incredible. Panels blinking on & off. Buttons, levers, & gizmos everywhere. And who doesn’t want to sit in Capt Kirk’s, uh YOUR, TOS Capt chair.

Make sure your Fx volume & in-game Ambient volume are set to 100%. Then close your eyes and just listen. Every TOS ship sound is replicated. You can even hear the hum of the warp core while you’re walking through the ship.

The experience feels so real. It’s like you were transported into a TOS episode. Then I saw “IT” in the corner of my eye. I jumped out of the Capt chair & over the Bridge railing to get a better look. It’s the Bridge plaque & it reads:

“Dedicated to the men and women who served on the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701)”

It gave me goose bumps & the shivers. That’s where it all started boys & girls. So many thanks to Cryptic & D Stahl for the TOS bundle. You guys are thebomb.com.

    Helm ahead, warp speed.
