  • It's like the post I made in another thread just now. They are slowly feeding us features to try to keep us interrested. It's an old tactic that Asian companies have used for years. Think about it: what other reason could they have for not giving us a bigger cash shop from the beginning? Also, they have not kept their…
  • Palma, they should have already gotten this right from the beginning of PWI. This is such a big blunder that I no longer think of it as a mistake but as dirty business practices. If you think about it, they are slowly feeding us new forum features that could easily have been provided very quickly from the beginning. It's…
  • Okay... so... You bring out a new feature for your forums that has been long-awaited right as you're losing customers. Plus, it's not even fully customizable with our own uploads and such. I'm smelling fishy business practices, here. What's so hard about giving us all of the forum features at once? It surely can't be a…
  • ...by ignoring the question completely? When PWI was starting, they would have never handled the situation like that. They were always very polite, helpful, and friendly. Now that they're having problems, where did that go? Anyway, this is totally off topic, so I'm done.
  • This is not a worker vs company situation. This is a client vs company situation. In such a case, the only result is for the client to go elsewhere. I, myself, have grown tired of chatting here. Everything here is dead. I am moving on to PW-MS. This is not a strike. This is an Exodus.
  • Who's flaming them? We're just saying what we believe. As for the same people saying the same things repeatedly, there are only some of us doing that. Even then, I keep finding new things to say. Aside from that, I see new people posting here constantly. At least half or more of the posts are from new people who say that…
  • LMAO! I love your post. That's almost definitely what will happen here. They've already shown that they cannot make good on their promises. What else will the company compromise on? This is just the way these people do business. Knowing that, why should any of us stay here?
  • That's rude. I don't know why you can't at least say that they are coming or something. It looks like the GMs aren't even bothering to give us their promises any more. As for the topic, I agree that a direct credit card option should be available. If there are problems with cross-country transactions, then you could at…
  • Sorry, but I just don't buy that. How can anyone compromise with these ridiculous prices? There is no compromise; there is no middle ground. The prices are just completely unrealistic. A GM said that these cash threads are also a hot debate topic for PWE employees. Why is it hard to believe that they would not post…
  • Hmm... Do I smell another glitch in PW? Wow, what a surprise. -_- Well, if it says safe zone, then it's supposed to be safe from PK. I guess the game has a tendency to lie.
  • I'm now convinced that certain posters in this thread who don't seem to understand the travisty of the cash shop's prices actually work for PWE. You can figure out who I'm talking about. Why else would anyone support these prices? Have fun chatting with real PWE employees. ;) Of course, I could be wrong. Maybe they're just…
  • I could have sworn that I already did that with my other post. Maybe more explanation is necessary. :p
  • NO, the safe areas are not safe. It's a cruel joke, I know, but they are only safe from PK. Mobs can still enter safe areas and kill people. The reason why you don't see that very often is that most are designed to leave you alone before you enter a safe area. Some monsters are not, however. For example, if you run away…
  • Tofu, you can't base one company's bad choices on another company's bad choices. You're just encouraging the idiots who gave us this **** to believe that they've done a good job. Raxcal has made a great point about cash shop problems. For the money they expect us to spend, they could at least do away with the scam that is…
  • Actually, at around that level the quests that pertain to your current level do start to dry up. The only option is to grind until you can do more quests. Around level 40, you will be given quests that are intended for several levels above your current one. At this stage, grinding becomes the norm. Have fun.
  • You may have hit on the most important point in this whole thread. Where is the logic in basing the game's prices on the Gross Domestic Product of the whole freakin' country? Instead, they probably should have based it on Per Capita Income. Even this, however, would have lead to miscalculations and prices that are too…
  • This thread reminds me of this song: Smashing Pumpkins - Rat in a Cage. Thanks, PW, for the endless months of nothingness that I've spent wanting you to provide a good service. First, you shafted Cubinet by not giving them updates... ever. Now, you've shafted your players. Nice job.
  • That quest won't fix the archers' flying problem. Archers and Clerics are very different classes. Flying is simply one of those differences. Clerics start off not having any problems with flying because they are really good with magic. Archers don't have that kind of magic ability, though. The answer for this problem is to…
  • Woah, this thread is way off topic now. That's one reason why I'm trying to bring this conversation to an end. In short, you have no idea what problems have popped up over the time since Perfect World - Malaysia started. This goes way beyond cash shop prices. As for comparing PW to WoW, I think that whole topic distracts…
  • I'm mostly done with this conversation. I just wanted to leave a final note. Your point is true but you can't say that it's great for the price without considering all of the complaints on both this forum and the PW-MY forum. PW has a history of creating a lot of frustration for people. I once thought it was a great game.…
  • Your point about the money is totally true. However, you may not realize that PW has been going on for years over in China. In addition, they have quite a few other versions of it in the local languages of other countries. PWI is just one of the newest ones to pop up. On top of that, the company has other games, too. You'd…
  • Your post is unintentionally ironic. PW-Beijing already has a ton of money from players who willingly spend a lot of money each month on cash shop items (in other versions of PW). Why don't we have more content?
  • I fully understand your perspective, but when I read that, I think that PW is shallow and WoW is loaded with content. It might be nice to have some Zelda-like dungeons. LMAO!
  • ...and if you both have them? *rolls eyes* Hierograms give an unfair advantage against the poor sap who can't/won't spend real money on that. If I had designed this game, I would have left out the hiergrams and would have made (high level) leveling easier.
  • Leveling at high levels without cash shop resources is possible but it's annoying (even frustrating). It's simply much easier to buy the hierograms/charms from the cash shop because they refill HP & MP. You could say that the game is designed to make people want to buy them. If you are determined to spend no real money on…
  • You don't understand current pricings and incomes in the USA. I can buy a new Xbox 360 game or PS3 game for the same cost as getting married in this game. Think about that. I can get a whole new game that a major game studio worked very hard on with the expectation of making a ton of money from it for the same cost as…
  • LOL. Steal away. It's simply the truth, right? :D
  • Yes. I don't think this company is capable of achieving their own promises nor delivering a good game. These problems are not ending; they are only accumulating.
  • Hmm... Well, that's all I could think of. You have a weird problem.
  • Is it possible that the quest had a time limit? Many of them must be completed in a specific time or they count as failed. If that happens, you should be able to return to the NPC and get the quest again.
