The only concern here is when you're using bb. Heal is lower indeed but it's never been less than "enough" to my own experience. For every other situation you may be willing to wear -9% necklace and belt to help with the heal/time equation. Essentially you're trading some attack power to gain survivability and it works…

Channel build has its perks but you should avoid wearing elemental belt and necklace. Physical resistance would be a bit too low otherwise.
-
1. let your hp drop low; 2. go to a safe place; 3. unequip your weapon; 4. cast your demon dew; 5. watch your hp bar.

*takes away the food from the troll* How are lunar and warsong runs like to a heavy cleric? Charm ticks?

86 currently. With +4 Silverrain my magic attack is 4.8k-7k. Heals are pretty decent and I can aggro things recklessly and get away with it. Tanked full fb51 last week without a single charm tick. BH69, 79 and 89 run easy and smooth, even when I have squishy sins tank pole or when the squad grabs multiple rangers in brim.…

Light is awful. My 1st choice is R9 recast. With at least +10 refines and sharding with high grade garnets or JOSD and physical necklace/belt. My 2nd choice is S3 HA. With some serious channel reducion on necklace/belt/cape and real good refine on weapon.

Unless you're wearing rank gear go for a Cleric. Minimal expenses with skills and you can share gear with your Wizard through account stash.

TY all <3

Haters are going to hate. Not a single HA venomancer is to match the other melee classes in terms of damage output - we can barely outperform barbs. And so AA venos are outperformed by every other magic class, be it in damage numbers, healing or defensive/tactical skills. In other words, game mechanics favour venomancers…

I don't recommend Wizard as your first toon. Wizards are hard to play and expensive to build. Now straght to the point: 1. With real good gear they're brilliant. 2. A nightmare until I decided to go to FF. 3. Having an Archer or Psychic kill faster with cheaper gear is not fun at all. 4. Yes and it also takes some planning…
-
If your goal is to lead a bloody massacre get her an Archer. However if you feel like adding a tip of defensive power against sin groups a Mystic should provide better AOE target control.
-
Although Reikara's guide recommends HA/AA you don't need both sets to excel. Just get all your HA gear and ornaments/cape with plenty of +stat points. To make things even cheaper get a pair of ☆Seal of Eternal Solitude so you don't need to have 2 pairs of rings. rank 8/9 rings however fare a lot better.

Fox Wallop, Consume Spirit, Stunning Blow, Crush Vigor, Soul Degeneration and Malefic Crush are 6 of the most useless skills ever. Fox Wallop - very weak damage, debuff doesn't last long at all, chi usage makes it even less usable. Kept mine at lvl 1. Consume Spirit - slow skill that drains a lot of HP for a minimal MP…
-
Both are very easy to make sparks. A subtle difference is that sages are better suited for easy chi in human form (venomous and lending hand are game changers) while demons are more balanced for both human and fox form usage (lending hand x crush vigor).
-
Like others said it's doable but I find it a lot easier and safer with barb or with non-fail bms and seekers.
-
I'm favourable to g16 nirvana regardless of the actual weapon. Assuming you're a pure magic Cleric I don't think you'll ever lack healing power even with a pataka but I do suggest you refine it at least to +5 straight away.
-
Demon Stone Barrier = 150% extra phys Sage Stone Barrier = 120% extra phys Not sure about you but 30% doesn't look compelling at all. By the way I'm a demon.

Welcome to the forum. The are some sticky threads at the Venomancer section, some being guides. They're totally worth reading. You can change your points with a boutique item (costs $). To give you a straight answer, the "pure magic" vanilla build is the easiest to follow. To get it done right all you need is minimal…

LA is the only build I don't recommend for it's much weaker than arcane or heavy with endgame gear. In case you already have good gear (sin or archer alt, maybe?) you could work on getting -9% channel belt/necklace and -6% LA bracers.
-
I'm with tweakz. Knowing the gear and planning your stats levels ahead is essential. Forget about these formulas.

Some people are rude just like that, regardless of the class, be it FF, BH, TT or anything else. Can't explain but that sort of people will bash squad mates at random and if they don't get what they really want - their target kicked from squad - they go AFK the entire run or just refuse to use the relevant skills. Some…

BP is good but I don't really miss it. What I actually mean with being defensive is that we have lots of powerful defensive tricks other classes don't have. For instance, you can always lure ABA/SOT BH bosses with a scarab as long as you have 1 of these tricks on. A blademaster in comparison is most likely to get 1-shot…

Gosh I would never know Clerics get so much hate... Currently I have problems of 3 kinds: 1. Low level undergeared squishies. They always complain about the heal but never bother with using potions, running, stunning, whatever... They often appear in BH but in random TT every squad has at least 1 of that kind; 2. Tank…

Clerics and Wizards are perfect opposites except for one sole shared attribute which is magic. Clerics are decent DD but they're also support and as long as you play in squads you're much more likely to play full support role than anything else. Wizards were meant to be the the kick-*** offensive magic class but as far as…
-
Patakas are the worst magic weapons for normal melee attacks. They do OK for skill spamming though. Personally I like patakas for Wizard for their wide damage gap but dislike on Venos and Clerics. Each class has a much different approach on their roles. As it seems like comparing HA Venos on Fox Form to Blademasters is on…

Sunder healing is exactly the same regardless of the ammount of mobs. Bloodpaint however heals according to the damage you deal to every single mob so if you hit 5 mobs at once you're getting much more heal from BP that you'd get from 1 mob.
-
Who would ever spend a grand to fully R9 a veno when getting claws and interval gear leads to much better results (DPS and survivability-wise) at a fraction of the price? PWE knows it all... And they DO want you to spend a grand every once in a while with their scheduled gear releases. A different approach would certainly…

I've reset the settings of the game through the nVidia control panel. Despite the gain of a few frames per second nothing changed. Now the reports http://speccy.piriform.com/results/0wjhsZfevt4ozDj1Kq8Yuzm Report taken right after client crash.

Get a pair of golden soulgems on weapon. Despite the lower damage it should help a lot with hitting sins and archers.
