  • Plus side of leveling fast, you get cool equips and skills real fast. Downside of leveling fast, you dont learn the strengths and weaknesses of your class and skills. My advice, take your time, do your quests, do your daily quests as often as you can (when they become available), but dont rush things. Find a good guild,…
  • Basically, do your quests. All of your quests will put you in areas with level appropriate mobs, with a few rare exceptions. At level 30, you get a Quest called Crazy Stones. Do it. While the exp you gain from the CS quest starts to slack off (the amount you get goes up with every level, but getting 200k exp when you need…
  • For the absolute best solo class, it has to be the veno. 1: they have a pet to tank most everything 2: they have almost no upkeep costs, ie, repairs, pots, etc 3: if they get in trouble, they can Fox form their way out of said trouble After the venos, either a psychic or a blademaster for best solo. Psychic 1: Rather…
  • With the tideborn tattoos, you just cycle thru the presets till you find a pattern you like, then adjust the rest of the body to your prefence. The only differences between TBs and other chars, is that the ears cant be changed, theres no makeup on the TB char, and that you have far fewer hair styles to choose from. Other…
  • Go to the class specific portions of the forum, and check there. Tho i would advise you take anything those guides tell you with a grain of salt, as the Tideborn classes have only been out for like, 2-3 months.
  • Tho the lucky points are determined purely by luck.
  • Or find a weapon in the Auction house that already has 1 in it, or was dropped by a monster.
  • There are 3 types of Pets: Mounts (the get put in the pet bag, so im callin em a pet), All Class pets, and Attack Pets. Mounts: to get one of these, youll have to buy it from the boutique or from another person, and they are lvl restricted. You must be either lvl 20, 40, or 60 (depending on the mount) to ride a Mount. All…
  • If you dont like what someone is sayin in WC, just blacklist em. Its what i do when i dont want to listen to the current pissing contest thats going on in WC.
  • It all depends on what ppl are willing to pay for the grease. Ive seen anywhere from 800 a piece, to almost 2k a piece. So, it all depends on the market for that item.
  • At which point, if youre going solo, you might wanna atk a different mob. If youre in a squad, atk them as a group. As for the aoe-ing idea, Sins only have 2 aoes (unless im forgetting one), one of which takes 2 sparks to use. So aoeing a group of mobs isnt advised unless you have absolutely no other option, at which…
  • The various classes are race specific. For example, only humans can be blademasters or wizards. For assassins and psychics, the required race is the Tideborn. Assassins are melee damage dealing fighters, who also specialize in causing various debuffs on the target. Psychics are magic using, damage dealing/support type.…
  • Im pretty sure one of the quests you have to do solo is the Heavenwear Fragment quest you get in the high 40s. Another quest you have to do solo is the KunKun quest. But yah, most quests, whether for kills or specific drops, the kills/drops are shared amongst the squad.
  • Welcome to the PWI Forums! b:laugh Youll find forum trolls quite frequent here, but youre better off ignoring them. As for your OP, there are rude ppl all over the place. If a squad doesnt want your help, theres more than likely another one out there that would welcome your help.
  • It starts to get a bit easier in the low 30s, as you get better skills then. Tho i dont think the Sin is the best class for a brand new player. Id have advised you to try the blademaster, barb, or a cleric first, as they (in my opinion) seem to be a bit more forgiving to new players. But, if youre happy where you are, have…
  • your armor does change as you lvl, and even then, theres different things you can do to customize your armor. the easiest thing is to put various shards in your armor, to give it a glow, or a sparkling effect, tho its difficult to do this before the low 50s, as socketed armors can be kinda rare. Also, you can get legendary…
  • the 2 new classes belong to a new race called the Tideborn. The assassin is a Light Armored melee DD class, and the Psychic is a magic DD/support class. At the character creation screen, you just pick the race you want to be, and the Tideborn will be in there. You can team up with others for quests, tho some prevent you…
  • Ive had similar things happen on my bm. One of the things i like to do is find ppl asking for BH29s, and just run that for them right quick. I know from experience that if you dont get that BH done close to when it becomes available, it can be a pain to get done. So if some random 4X needs it, and is at the BH guy asking…
  • Well, the squading thing depends on why ye want to squad. For an instance of any kind, youll definately want a squad. For some of the quests out there, youll want a squad, especially those which have a low drop rate, or a short time limit. But other quests wont allow you to squad for them, as the drop rate goes from decent…
  • +1 this right here. While i have been kicked from squads cause of my class (thankfully, that hasnt happend in the last coupla weeks), ive had several squads say they were glad i was there. Hell, i had a lvl 86 Herc'ed veno say she noticed a definite difference in the time it took to kill mobs in a TT run i was in. It was…
  • Welcome back to PWI. There are 2 new classes, the Assassins, and the Psychics. Sins are a melee DD with a build similiar to Archers, and specialize in debuffing mobs/bosses/players. Psychs are a mage DD/support class, like a mix between Wizs and Clerics. Im not sure about Psychs, but Sins seem geared more geared to PvP…
  • Jesus Christ, this thread is STILL going on? Much as i think those ppl who refuse to squad with Sins because of a few stupid, ignorant, egomaniacal Oracle Noobs are short-sighted and/or arrogant, this argument has been argued to DEATH already. Its 20+ pages of a few ppl btching at each other, going "yes we are" "no youre…
  • If the bm is doing crowd control, why are they using fists? Axes give the ability to keep up a near constant aoe. (ive a lvl 83 axe bm, so im not totally clueless about them) The only wep specific stun BMs get is Drake Bash, and its a single target stun. yes fist bms do have a non ulti aoe, but it has a cooldown of 15…
  • b:laugh +1 this My Sin is a female, while my Bm is a male. So what does that make me? b:laugh
  • Faster than what? Sins have 2 spell negating skills: Knife Throw, and Throatcut. Knifethrow has a 15 second cooldown, which is only 3 seconds more than Shadowless Kick's 12 sec cooldown, which wont matter much against a boss. Throatcut is a spark skill, 95% to cancel enemy spell (once maxed, its 86% at lvl 1), and silences…
  • There are essentially 2 options for restating: 1) Purchase a Restat note from boutique/player, go to the Elder of a major city, and select the reset points option (i think thats what the option is called) 2) If your character is under lvl 30, it would be easier to just reroll your char, and read a class guide on proper…
  • Word of warning for the sushi: if its connected to a line trailing back to a fish tank, you might not want to eat it.............
  • Welcome to PWI!! Best advice i can give you, read whatever the stickied guide for the class that most interests you first. (Except the Sin/Psych guides, those classes havent been around all that long) Those guides will answer most any question you might have. Other than that, have fun and good luck!
  • As far as FBs/BHs are concerned, Sins are (well, this is what i do. dunno about the others) meant to help debuff the Boss, ie, keep Ribstrike/Puncture active on the boss as much as possible, while providing a 2nd Melee DDer class. Dunno about TW, havent done one yet with a Sin, and soloing, well, stay alert, and youll kill…
  • No, we arent the crappiest class, there IS NO crappiest class. Its just that some of the older classes (not all of the players of those classes, just a few) resent the new classes, and so try to act all high and mighty whenever someone trys to say something about them. They'll say all Sins/Psychs are Oracle Noobs or…
