I played Perfect World like 1 year ago, where you could just dream of ever getting to Lvl 90.

Now, since the MMO I played till now slowly bores me (and drama overwhelming), I might plan a come back to PW and start a new char from scratch.

So, is there a class now, with all those new updates, that changed dramatically? Or are there classes now, that are quite underpowered and unwelcomed in partys later?
What Server is the youngest now and do you lvl up faster now, than 1 year ago?

I also would like to know, if there were any major changes. (other than the new race)
Enough question, but not all at all. Maybe you could have the time and answer them. If you want, add something additional, too. b:laugh

You could start by reading through the forums. There will be drama any where you go including here. It's just about how you handle it and involve yourself in the game and people. I'm personally a very laid back person and don't get wrapped up in drama because let's face it, this is a game. It's supposed to be fun and deffinately isn''t worth pulling your hair out over.

The newest server is Raging Tide and I have no idea what it's like. I have both my toons on Dreamweaver so it's the only one I'm in the know about.

I don't know what you had when you played to level but there are daly's you do every day for massive amounts of exp, Bounty Hunt, Crazy Stone, and World Quest at 70+. There is also now a daily marriage quest to do as well that came with the expansion. Oracles can be used and you can get those by buying them from other players or getting them through te boutique manager with tokens which are also bought buy through other players or temporarily through the cash shop. They are called coral reef. There is also this new thing called hyper experiance or something another. That just began in the latest patch and don't have experiance with it. Basically, now-a-days, you can jump from 0-60 in one day! It took me almost a year to get to 84 so I'm a bit sensitive about all these ways to level because so many people abuse them. Like I said, the were level 80+ TB thr same day it launched.

Alrighty, hope that helps a bit, I can't remember what else you asked but here is what I can tell you. Good luck and welcome back b:victory

Oh, 80+ in one day seems mad. ^^
Don't you still lvl up with quests till you are ~40?
I can't imagine doing all those quests that fast.

Quests? Who does quests anymore? The killing fields are almost deserted these days...everyone does BH, CS and WQ (for 70+) instead.

This is true. That's why this 2x drops event does wonders for me. Nobody knows how to grind so I get to run around the playing field and jack all the mobs for myself without any distraction.

Oh, also, I don't mean you do all the daily's over and over in one day to get to 80+. Those are just quests given to you every 24 hour period. If you want to be an oracle noob, you can buy 100's of oracles and in that way, you can become lvl 80+ in a day. I don't recommend that though because it's not looked upon too highly b:surrender

Welcome back to PWI. There are 2 new classes, the Assassins, and the Psychics. Sins are a melee DD with a build similiar to Archers, and specialize in debuffing mobs/bosses/players. Psychs are a mage DD/support class, like a mix between Wizs and Clerics. Im not sure about Psychs, but Sins seem geared more geared to PvP than PvE. As for classes being unwelcome, you sometimes find ppl who dont want either of the new classes, due to the large number of Oracle Noobs running around (Oracle Noob= player who has purchased massive quantities of Oracles and pwer lvls with them. hitting 80+ in a day or 2 via this method is quite possible) giving Sins, and to a lesser degree, Psychs, a bad name.
As for lvling, im sure youre quite familiar with the Crazy Stones quest you get at 30, and the World Quest you get at 70. There is a new daily quest, called the Bounty Hunter quest, which you start getting at lvl 40. It sends you into various fbs to kill a boss or 3, and gives fairly large amounts of exp and spirit. There is also a hyper Exp system now in place, for ppl who can only play a few hours at a time, so they can keep up with their friends who play for longer amounts of time. Quests are still the prefered way of lvling up thru the 40s, but after that, most ppl start sticking with BHs in order to lvl (ive a lvl 68 Sin, and i can earn around 300k exp a day with BH alone {if im wrong, sorry, cant remember exact exp amounts atm})In terms of age, the Dreamweaver, Harshlands, and Raging Tide servers are the youngest, respectively.
The only other major change i can think of are the genies, which is a sort of pseudo pet everyone can get, that provides extra skills (curative skills, atk skills, buff/debuff skills, and others). Best advice i can give ye is to log on and check things out for yourself. If ye do that, good luck to ye!!
