pos forums won't accept copy-paste properly, and I won't rewrite it all. APS is not killing the game, it's helping in more ways than all the QQers think.

Interesting idea... I like the idea of more diversity in skills and personalized skill sets, but this could also imbalance the game further. A Sin with HF, a cleric with bm's long aoe stun, all classes with Ironheart... just a few that come to mind.

^^ This... Though it would be great if we had the option to turn off Duke Shouts altogether. As many have stated, it becomes problematic in squads, faction, etc when suddenly a wall of red text appears b:surrender

I lol-ed at this... nicely put.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing the HA build, its just that when I decided to change builds I played and played on the PWcalculator, and tried a few HA builds. What turned me off the idea was the compromise of either semi-high mag for a higher lvl weap/mattk/pet heal or higher str for higher lvl armors/pattk.…

All that you listed would be based on a bad, or poorly played, build, imo. #1 - I don't have a "gimped" m-attk. According to the online calculator I'm about 1K-800 short of my old AA/vit build, and in-game it's barely noticeable. Besides that, having a crit rate of 10% as LA vs 4% as AA works out to be very close to the AA…

So very true. One of the nicest things about a LA/AA build, which can use both sets of armors, is that you have the option of quick-changing into AA gears (which will increase that elem/mdef but lower pdef) or the LA gears which will lower that mdef, but raise the pdef. Saved me more than once b:chuckle It's good that you…

Actually, at end-game you will have enough points to make LA quite fun and far from 'inferior'. I kept my char AA/vit (60 base vit, max mag) all the way up to 100, then changed to a LA/AA build. I have enough mag to use tt99 weap/armors, enough str/dex for TT90 LA armor, and then 30 base vit. The trick to a build like this…

This: I really fail to understand why different versions of PW are *NOT* assessed individually. We 'took one for the team' when they lowered DQ prices... and only cause of coin farmers in another version, and now we get to repeat history with TW pay. I've been around f2p MMOs, especially ones with versions around the…

The saddest part of this whole thing is that the 'crybaby' most likely has a higher level main character that they used to fund their new assassin or psychic... and therefore doesn't even need the coin anyway. They just wanted to b__ch about something. b:chuckle I mean really, how many people that just started this game…

X2 Simply saving coin right now will take you forever to accumulate the amount needed to get a herc. I managed to get my herc with gold prices sitting up at 500K +/-. I managed this mostly by watching for good deals on items and reselling. This takes some patience and lots of attention to the market, but there are always…

Gave the OHT mobs a try today and like how fast they die... especially the array guards. Certainly better than mobs up around 1K Streams. Thanks for that tip! @ IceJazmin - I'll have to give those a try (I do indeed need glaze... finishing the lvl6 tailor Q is being a beast b:surrender). Been herc-grinding the lvl 89…

Well, gee, guess I better be more precise for Mr. Precision here... b:chuckle (no offense intended) *MOST* of the pets I have come across, like the Foxwings, have tended to have somewhat better stats when they are leveled from a lower level starting pet, rather than a higher level one of the same type. And I'll go deeper…
-
If you wanted to take the time to level an air pet, then using a lower level one would be a good idea (lower level pets of the same general type get better stats... i.e. a lvl60 Pinnear Foxwing will have better stats than a lvl60 Foxwing Supreme). If you're like most of us tho, you dont wanna bother leveling that air…

I used my cub until level 80 without too much problem. Like you, I just didn't like the golems at the time (mainly hated a huge pet that always got in the way). On my cub, as someone said before, I opted to remove Pierce and added Bash. All other skills I kept. I found that by selecting Bash as the auto-skill each time I…

^^ both of those answers are correct. To add to the possibilities, you could be getting a little lag (on your end) which will make you seem to pick things up more slowly, use skills more slowly, etc. If you have a rather slow connection speed, lots of users on your hub (dsl is commonly like this during primetime hrs), or…

As forks stated, you can get a mount through the boutique (Cash Shop) by charging your Zen (real money), you can buy one from another player using coins (usually you can find mounts in Kitty stands or the Auction House rather easily), or you can buy gold using coin through Gold Trading system (at the Auction House). I…

If they stopped players from trading gold (via the AH Gold Trading system), and sold gold for 100K ea, you could easily expect to see the prices of CS items going up since more people would buy the gold @ 100K ea, then go to CS and get whatever they wanted... no one would purchase Zen using real money anymore since 100K is…

I'm another veno that likes to have some vit on my character (not quite as extreme as WaffleChan tho b:surrender ). Lvl-83 I'm sitting at 90 vit and with citrines in some of my gear, I have just under 4K hp. As someone said already, you lose a little damage by not having those points in mag, but it sure is nice to not get…

X2. Although I'm sure that there are many people out there just itching for aniv packs to leave the CS so they can make insane profits, there are also those of us that really need the economy to lighten up a bit so we can afford some of the more essential/much needed items. With these insanely over-inflated gold prices of…

Barbs currently have a non-damage skill that is an aoe aggro skill (think it was called Roar, but could be wrong).

Sorry to necro this thread, but I was going to make a thread of a similar suggestion regarding shards... Instead of making a new thread, I'll put it here. How about instead of making the coin costs vary according to the shard levels (as the OP suggested), you pay varying amounts for a higher chance at getting the shard…

If you are an arcane Veno, you wont ever need accuracy, unless you use some fox skills (as someone mentioned before). To date I have never missed with a magic attack, and my accuracy is only around 300.
-
Sorry if this was already covered (didn't see either one in the list, but I could have missed them). 1) Increase the number of members allowed in a party (especially since we are getting new classes soon). 2) Increase material drop rates in solo TT runs. As they are now, it's a waste of time, subs, and patience trying to…

I have noticed that some bosses have a different close damage than far damage (hard to explain properly). Usually the close damage is much lesser than the far damage, and occasionally our pets manage to attack at a range that lets the bosses do the higher damage (even if the boss isn't doing a ranged skill). I first…
