I have never experienced any of the "issues" you have. Sounds like lag more than anything else, especially the cast animations and times - never a problem on my end. As far as solo play, I've only ever played solo (sans bosses).

Guilds that advertise for active members usually have goals in mind, like TW, requiring fast (as fast as possible) leveling. There are plenty of guilds not interested in fast leveling.

World Chats keep me entertained through bouts of grinding. I feel the drama is pretty tame, really. Could use more! I like the off-the-wall ones that actually contain some wit. The ones that try too hard are always less than funny.

Sorry I cannot help you, but I can confirm and tell you this happened to me before with my veno. I got a scroll, changed my skin tones and it fixed it, though.
