i don't really recommend starting out with nix and herc tho. they do make the playing experience a WHOLE LOT easier. so unless you're a pro veno already, start using legendary pets when you're lvl 1 would probably hinder your ability to fully utilize your class's potential

I can only stand it for so long. I believe you mean HOW. and.. I thought many would call "send your pet and run" tactic fail and noobish. There are numerous flames out there accusing venos of not knowing how to pvp cuz all we do is "send your pet in and run". /facepalms. no. I think this has to be elevated to /facewalls.

any level of tame will work on any tamable mob if the mob's hp is low and your level is not lower than the level requirement for the intented mob.

what build do you want to go with? there are a few stickies at the top of the forum. a couple skills you'll max disregarding your build would be: Human: venomous scarab, ironwood scarab. But but you can also have land mounts and they max at 11m/s b:chuckle tho i'm not a fan of land mounts. too much work for venos since you can't have a pet and your mount out at the same time.

There are bosses that hits really hard, and the tank will take massive damage, are you going to try to keep him alive or QQ about how much he sucks? i've had my share of squading with good and bad…

i agree it's absolutely hilarious that after duel once i sat down to meditate, but the other person wasn't able to do so. it took us a while to figure out why xD my dear yellow blob wouldn't give up the grudge

i apologize for my subtle sarcasm. the OP already put pounce on his sawfly. so i'm just following suit. i agree with tweakz tho.. if you're willing to put so much money into your sawfly.. why not try for a nix?

bring/craft pots.. or buy a charm if you're higher lvl. things get slightly (read:SLIGHTLY) better at higher lvl (more points in mag = bigger mana pool and faster regen).

Do you use wellspring surge? (that purple beam healing skill b:surrender i think that's the name) Iron Heart is heal over time, so if the tank is taking too much damage already, it might not save him fast enough. Try wellspring surge then stack iron heart, and then add wellspring as you see neccessary.

call it a tanker build.. but i've seen a full vit barb doing a 95k sparked perdition in frost. b:shocked

you should save your money and.. :p if money is not a concern and you don't want to try for a nix, maybe get a pet buff skill like claw?

venos don't have many stuns. and if you can get an additional stun from your pet, you want to keep it. Nix doesn't come with flesh ream. it comes with pounce, blessing and claw. and the additional skill slot is usually filled with flesh ream.

HA will give you the highest phys def. (if you're doing HA/AA you can interchange your gears depending on situation) but you are compromising your atk power (not to the point where it's rediculous, but it will be less compared to a AA). AA has the highest mag def, highest dmg(among venos anyway), ok phys def. sooo, take…

are you a LA veno? at higher lvls, robes with proper shards (garnets) will have comparable phys def. so you're better off moving those points to mag. and if you're not a LA veno.. dex doesn't give you phys def.. and 25 dex isn't going to give you a HUGE crit boost.. soo... you're still better off moving the points to mag.

not sure about the worst pet.. but the pets i never bothered wtih are the snake pets and the centipede :x

..work on extending your pet begs.. why would you want to pay everytime you want to switch your pet? and what happens if your pet dies in a battle? you can extend the pet slots through quest for up to the first.. 4? or 5? (can't remember) and/or from cages (cash shop item).

lol. it's a mob drop called "hay". it's a type of pet food.
