    To be honest, you might want to read all the stickied topics and threads BEFORE you post something like this. This question has been disputed more than often on the threads unnecessarily....

    But if you're talking about free pets, the sawfly or the lvl 2 scorpion is the way to go.

    That would not fall under the category of "Free" pets, since you can't tame it anywhere. But yes, blazing phoenix is highest DPS pet in game.

    That is pointless. You will never see that. Imo, herc will win.

    FREE WISE: try vericose scorpion, seamonster guardian/dark wanderer, crystalline magmite. give them multiple skills to cycle through, and youll have plenty of damage

    hmm about skills and pets... if you want to solo tank something like djinscream, what pet and skills would you use? is dark wanderer better than scorpion? ..and besides claw and bash, probably howl and another damage skill like...?!

    scorpion, or wanderer, mine has bash, FR, and an elemental bash, + howl. i find djin a walk in the park

    Neither. When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object then time will stop since the unstoppable force has to pass the immovable object and the immovable object can't be moved (funny, that). Because the force can't move the object and the object can't stop the force then time will stop until one prevails. Of course, neither will win in the end so the universe will forever be frozen in time.

    Luckily for us, there is no such thing as either an unstoppable force or an immovable object.

    By the way, nice way of telling everyone that you spent $200 on a free game.

    Varicose Scorpion = highest free land DPS
    Petite Sawfly = highest free air DPS

    Ignoring the silliness - the nix hits for nearly 1/2 the hercs hp, the herc hits for 1/4 of the nix. The nix wins handily. They actually make pretty good tanks, outdoors.

    Well, that's surely true.

    On which note - running 79 we had a barb and cleric. So we did the usual "Who's gonna tank, you or the herc?" dance.
    And then, silliness struck! There are tow of use, and two bosses at the end! We could tank them both!

    So I lured 'em and he took brigand and I took linus. And that was fine but then...
    Why don't we drag 'em together and use aoe?

    So we did that. Fox myriad, noxious gas, whatever the heck that cleric aoe is called - two bosses dead.

    Fantastic silliness, and we didn't die at all.


    But still, the answer to the question is 'the nix wins' :)

    I am going to ask this question here as that other one may get locked.


    I would like to ask how is as alternative to sawfly I don't want to lvl up one.I just lvled this one to my lvl http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mob/1416.How good is this fly?

    I would do it for nix though lvl it up.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    i dont know, kinda in time for 3-4 players but for me alone? i dont think i can ever get over 1.3mil hp (or however its his hp) in like 5min
    tho.. i read that someone did it but i saw no details however

    A nix don't make you a good veno..not power either, its how you play...use the skils! who to think.

    i seen that 50x veno havy armor, used stone monster. she took a lvl 70x veno in duel!

    I have seen 70x veno with havy aremor..soloed fb51 without healing alone! without charm!
    she did't use pet. killed all 3 bosses

    *But if y wnat somthing to take a bit dg..get sawfly with lvl 5 bleed - flash ream work good..just sue ironwood first..

    QQ If i did Crazy stone at 3x AND not 6x, i had been lvl 105 now!

    Well, there is two kind of DD pet in my view.

    The 0.6atk/s scorpion/golem/walker would be best to use skills. The one with 0.8atk/s like the seamonster guardian or the dark wanderer should make better DD in the case of longer fight where you cannot use skill to steal agro from the barb(mostly TT boss) or another veno's herc.

    It's been my experience that at higher levels, barbs have better aggro holding ability. I think at around 95 I could use skills on a Claw skilled Scorpion while an ~85 barb tanked. This is largely dependent on the Barb though. There's also the option of unsummon / resummon to reset aggro.

    DPS pets aren't always all that. Rarely does a Cleric apply Elemental Seal, while a pet with Howl can offer up to -36% mdef on a target, and it's application generates significant aggro while it's lack of normal atk isn't wasted as much. If Howl's cool down was the same as Bash, it would be my Herc's 4th skill. My Armored Bear also doesn't have good DPS, but it does have Threaten, Pounce, etc which have an effect on overall DPS.

    Ok, I am hearing news about the skyfish and that it is a sawfly clone (or close) in all practicality on stats. If thats true then you could try it Mystimonk.

    I'm likely going with Bash, Flesh Ream, Howl, and Tough on my Vericose Scorpion unless I find a better combination ... The Sawfly skills are still up in the air for me at the moment.
