I haven't even thought about playing PWI for the past couple weeks, and once November 11th rolls around...b:bye
-
I stopped playing PWI last week when I found my old Oblivion GOTY discs. Now with Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim coming out, PWI doesn't stand a chance at getting any real play time. It doesn't take long in this "perfect" world to decide it's better off as a 3D chat room than a game.

I mean, we're talking about mmo nerds here....they can't all be hot Asian chicks b:surrender
-
If you're half as obnoxious in the game as you are in this thread, no wonder you got banned.
-
I get sick of people saying it's not necessary for lowbies to go to SP for quests, FB, BH, or whatever. They have more reason to be in SP than all these high lvl stalkers waiting on easy prey. One of the biggest and most well known TW factions on my server has had a few of it's 103-105 players sitting in SP and killing…

Wow, I didn't know there were so many people who support the idea of killing lowbies in SP. I mean, I know there are lots of people who do it, but most of them wouldn't dare advocate their actions in public. They know it makes them look bad. This is basically confirming that PWI appreciates their higher level jerks more…

If you're using a bunch of HP pots then you're doing it wrong. While I was leveling my wiz, I sold most of my HP pots to an npc. You get free pots from the supply stash, and I think I ended up npcing them too just to get them out of my inventory. Look into the skill Morning Dew for healing. As for mana pots, make your own!…
-
Also make sure you get Jone's Blessing. The +30 attack levels really helps when you deal as much damage as a wiz does. Between distance shrink, will of the phoenix, and force of will no mob should ever hit you. Morning Dew is a nice heal if you don't wanna use HP pots, and when you have the extra spirit to level your ice…

If seekers didn't look so goofy running with their swords out, then I'd probably roll one too.

I have a BM as well as psy and wiz. So I can make a couple comments on these classes. I always feel more useful on my BM than any of my other characters. AOE's like mad including an AOE stun. People love to have Heaven's Flame and our phys defense buff is nice as well. Multiple weapon paths is a plus, I can use axes for…

I was about to say, no wonder there are so many fishies. Every new player is told to roll a sin b:cry. What happened to the old "you should play the class you have the most fun with". Btw, blademaster is also a good class that levels quickly...

Here we go with the cash shopper argument. Lemme play devil's advocate for a bit. I'm a wizard, the only way I can make money right now is grinding for dq items and trying to merch. Due to my crazy computer, I can't leave pwi running all day, but I can dual client when I actually have time to play. So I make a small amount…

A new guide would be awesome. As it stands, the best way to learn about wizards on the forum is to read the genie thread.
-
Like Nyxyo said, don't rule out psychics. I play both wiz and psy, but I'm sad to say I'm playing my wiz less and less because of the sheer OP'ness of the fishy race.
-
Tweakz, I suppose if you thought TW was boring a wiz might be the wrong class to stick with for the long run b:chuckle. And I'm not ignoring warsong, just mentioning delta because it's often associated with wizards. As much as people talk about how broken and horrible the game is (yet still log on) the main idea is to have…

I can't be the only one who thinks it's awesome that his first forum post is at lvl 105. I haven't been playing long, but I've heard of Monk. Gratz man, and nvm the haters! b:victory
-
Did you bother to read Warren's guide? Just start there.
-
Since I started playing my wiz, all I've heard is how wizards are basically useless with the exception of Delta and TW. People tell me left and right I should have rolled a psy, and that wizards are dead. I even get trash talk from archers. But then I also hear that the only fun thing remaining that provides a challenge…
-
Like Daedallus, I also rolled a sin just to see what all the fuss was about. I also quit playing the sin at around lvl 20. If you like meditating a lot, roll a sin. Kill 3 mobs, meditate, repeat. I haven't played a mystic yet, but I can say I would probably stick with it a lot longer. It seems much more interesting to me,…

Really depends on what's fun for you, maybe just browse the class forums for a while. I myself have about 4 different classes that I play regularly.
-
It's one thing to be different', it's another thing to be a lame-can't-distribute-their-points-correctly blademaster. Look, my bm is only lvl 51 so I'm not gonna say I know anymore than you about the class. But really? A bm that refuses to allow himself to use his greatest strengths. Kinda like a dex mage or LA…
-
First character I created was a barb named Deuslupus. I was a wolf barb, and deus lupus means "wolf god" in Latin. And then my wizzie is named DudeLupus because I thought it sounded cool. I also have a BM named KennyPowers. Those who know about Eastbound and Down know who he is, everyone else thinks I'm Austin Powers'…

I see borderline harassment constantly. It really makes you worry about the intelligence of the human race. I mean, these chicks are playing a game and still followed and stalked. But hey, as long as there are creepy dudes wondering about and pestering all the ladies, I'm gonna look like a perfect gentleman for just…
-
I love holy path on my BM. Stream was right, it can really help when something happens and you gotta save the cleric. But the main reason I got it is just because it's one of those genie skills that is just better than most of the others. There are some that just make more sense, especially for certain classes. I have…

Sing it sister! I've noticed a lot of guys mistake this game for eHarmony. I have a cleric friend who added me to her list just because I was helpful without being a perv b:chuckle. Us guys probably don't realize the extra grief some of these lady characters have to go through. (Some of us probably also don't realize that…

I've gotten 1 char to 56, two to 49, and one to 42. I've done all my fb's on each character, and have never gotten a single mold drop. The first mold I bought and used was wheel of fate which will be with me for another 4 lvls til I get ancient arbor. Then it's going in the bank for my wife's cleric.
-
I've had lazy scammers compared to you guys. Two scammers, two separate occasions. And these people had to be friends because they had the exact same tactic. It was something dull like this... RandoBM: nice fists (they were just lvl 4x manufactured fists with shards, nothing special or "nice") Me: get ur blacksmith skill…
-
Infernia, you're absolutely right about some of the mobs not being suited for grinding. For some classes this is a bigger problem than others. But I've played a cleric, barb, bm, and wiz and at least for those classes there are ways to counteract or prevent certain skills that may be troublesome. Finding ways to neutralize…
-
I have nothing against grinding whatsoever. It just sounded to me like she wanted to level quickly, and at her level crazy stone, quests and oracles are a very fast way to level up without spending money on hypers. Also, most quests will have you go out and kill a bunch of stuff anyway, but you'll get the added bonus chunk…
