The quest has two parts and because of the names they use in both parts, it makes it very confusing. Just go find the plant now and you'll be set to turn it in.

You haven't done anything wrong, you just haven't completed all parts of the quest yet. Now you need to go and collect the Celestrial Sprite plant which the location is going to vary depending on your character class but in all cases is close to rivers.

Thats pretty much uncalled for and it's also incorrect. They would only need to purchase the book if they had completed the quest and obtained the book to begin with, which they have not done. Not sure about your first problem, but the second one might be that you haven't received the quest yet to open the chest. I think you get it at lvl 9.

Go to the blacksmith in North Archosaur, he is the one who gives the lvl 4 blacksmith production quest.

You obtain special types of stones from dismantling weapons, armor and jewelry. Click and drag those stones onto your fly tool and they will recharge it. The higher grade the stone is, the more each one will charge the tool.

Wicked Pirate is a skeleton mini boss that you can find north of Angler's Village. He looks like the other skels around him, but he's harder to kill. Good luck.
