@Buttercup I don't know why but I like reading long posts if they have good info or experience in them (and of course, if written in a literate way). And yes sir will surely roll a psy b:shocked @Blood_Panda lol you'll love the zerk trust me b:laugh @Chrono I've two accounts and use them both (not at the same time which is…

I want in on the fun b:cry

As Knownase said, you might miss archers and sins a bit if you cap it 54, but you can also use BloodBath to boost up your accuracy by quite alot. If you use Mistys at 77 and BB then you won't be missing much. If you want to cap it at 54 then better to cap it at 60 (to get an extra crit).

@Baalbak and darksinnz There have been hundreds of threads with the warsoul calculations you can research a bit and you will see how much you'ld need. But FYI here are the calculations. If a warsoul costs 8k then every one on my friend's list would be running around with one. THIS is why the warsoul is termed as an…

@Hippie The new patch has made the TT 3-2 and 3-3 bosses hit harder than anything. Fist BMs with decent builds are getting one or two shotted by them now. Since BMs used to tank this instance usurping our throne as "tanks", the OP seems to point out that now we might have our throne back. @OP Thanks for the grats Josh.…

+1 Perfect post. Fixed. b:laugh Our pdef debuff stacks well with tangling mire which gives us our huge numbers with Armageddon b:dirty

@Dsholder Thanks for the info bro, I'ld surely try a psychic once I get my barb to decent level. I'ld've joined DW but already started on RT so b:sad @Blood_Panda Thanks for the welcome and tanking my first FB. Keep rocking with your 8k HP b:thanks
-
HP would depend alot on your gear. If you've your Mountcrasher's armor and if you are the formal tank build then you should have around 14k or above. No more grinding after 90. Just tank TT2-3 and up with squads or solo the TT60s and 70s and sell the mats.
-
That's only for the warsoul mold. The Warsoul weapon takes 99 of each mat. So to make a warsoul weapon you'll need 100 of each mat. So 254 x 100 = $25,400 USD b:shocked Well endgame wizards have quite alot of channeling (with frost rings and cape and other stuff), or they are too OP to need it, that they wouldn't be…

Will do Fuzzy. Actually, when I logged in I did send you a pm but you were offline so will repeat once I log in b:thanks

Depends alot on levels and the skills of both toons. Till 60 our defenses don't match the archer's offenses, they stun -> slow -> metal attack -> phy attack -> simple arrows to finish it off. Once we get our TT armors we close in the gap by quite a bit and at 70 we'll have our BB maxed and with mistys we'll not miss…

I didn't read the rest of the comments but that ^ was my take on the OP. You can always restat when you get to a point when you feel that a fist build would help you. Until then, stay with axes. As for the humanoid skills, you can level some of them that can help you quest or PvP. Mighty Swing, Beastial Onslaught,…

I didn't know that the souls were so cheap that you'ld get all the 4 molds for 12 mil. If that is the case then farming TT for the coin, instead of the mats, is definitely a much much better way. And about the red mats - yes I pointed that out in my earlier post. The red mat costs around 150 mil.
-
@Hippie and Xylo Thanks alot for the info guys I'll try both of the races, level them simultaneously and see which one suits my playstyle better b:thanks @Buttercup I like reading long posts. Thanks a ton for taking time out to share your experiences. b:thanks (Clerics are really a hard class b:surrender ) I liked HL for…
-
Balance? Heck, I've seen them miss-time AD to block my Arma alot of times b:surrender They use Frenzy and cloud eruption alot to get to that 3 spark and think that we barbs are stupid enough to tank it b:shutup I've also seen some of them getting one shot by a crit on BR. But then again I've seen some of them block my…
-
Thanks for the invitations to RT guys b:thanks I can live with (rather enjoy) trolls better than egomaniacs I guess @Xarathox but most of the high level barbs in DW were the first ones I learnt my tanking skills from and I would never wanna compete with them b:surrender @xylo Archers are less expensive aren't they?? I mean…
-
@Xarathox Most of the BMs (especially the fist BMs with 6k HP b:surrender ) fight with Alter Marrow which makes me love my Demon B.O and Bramble Rage + Arma b:victory If you like what you do with thunderstorm try BR, you will absolutely love it b:chuckle

Yes Invoke makes you invincible for 20 seconds. The best survival skill which makes us what we are b:chuckle Invoke and Solid Shield do stack but 30% of the damage reduction isn't on the whole damage. When you invoke and it reduces 90% of the damage you receive, the left over damage gets reduced by 30% (in my case 55%…
-
I'll assume that you would want a toon to PvP with (I've followed your posts in Archers forums). The comparison between a 5.0 aps barb and BM leads to the kind of target they've. If the target/victim is an HA then the barb would do slightly (I'll post the figures later, don't have them on the current PC) more damage than…

My sage barb is 100 and is pre-luck corals. And what I wrote was based on my experience with the skills. The skills I've on my sage were: True Form, Shapeshifting Intensity, Mighty Swing, Stomp, Beastial Rage, Axe and Hammer Mastery, Frighten and Roar. Recently, some barb brothers advised me to get Feral Regen so thinking…
-
Beastial Rage was around 6 mil in HL the last time i checked and Frighten was 8 to 10 mil. So kept both of them as expensive. Rage surely is a great skill but I usually end up with good enough chi so didn't really work on getting the skill demonized. Though more is already better when it comes to chi. Frighten is good for…
-
Since you are a demon I'ld advise you to go for the tiger skills before the humanoid ones. True Form is a cheap skill but is one of the main reasons why I chose the demon path. So that was my first skill. I went with Demon Feral Regen, I don't regret it. Demon Alacrity was cheap awhile ago, not sure now since not active,…

Inb4lock or b4 it sinks to depths again due to inactivity b:shocked

You can always buy the ones that made you choose your path and reject the ones that are lack-lustre b:chuckle Here's my advice on skills though, True Form, Beast King's Inspiration, Shapeshifting Intensity are the first most important for a tank barb. Axe and Hammer mastery, Mighty Swing, Beastial Onslaught for a good…

Yep. I am aware of the Souls exchange for Souledges/Molds of the weapons. Being a non cash shopper and a hardcore mat farmer, I'ld rather put that amount of coin to get something unfarmable like a wing trophy rather than getting the Molds of some easily farmable weapons. That's how I got my Ashura. So advised the same. But…
-
VT only takes care of their stuns, the 3.33 aps BMs hardly use stuns anymore. They just swing away. So always better to stun those annoying hands and take them out before the stun wears down or use another stun to get bonus time. As I said, not many BMs go around with unreasonable amounts of HP. BMs strength is still the…

Oh sorry for not being clear. What I meant when I said that farming for Striking Dragon is easy, was that farming for the fist needs TTs rather than Nirvana. Of course, you'ld have to spend 150 mil (almost) to get Heart of Nature. You can start farming TTs for all the molds and buy the Heart and get ready with your fists…
-
Striking Dragon would seem to be the best choice. The high base and max attack is surely a winner. Vitality on windpour would prove to be better if you tank instances but with a +10 fist (either of these two) and armor sharded with VIT +10 stones I'ld go with the higher damage than more VIT. The Pyrogram add-on is useful…

Quoted for truth. But I've seen that not every -interval fist BM goes around with 10k HP. Most of them aren't hard cash shoppers. They simply farm to get those ornaments and armor and just refine their armor to +4 or +5. Against such BMs you do have a chance. They have 5k or 6k HP at max. When their stuns don't work and…
