I will roll a demon claw barbarian in the futur. My question is simple : which way should i go to get my end game claws/fists.

I am assuming that i would go near +10 refinement and hope for more but its becoming $$.

I could go either with tt100 striking dragon refine 10: +401atk

Grade 13
Attack Speed 1.43
Attack Range 2.5
Physical attack 643-710
Str required 158
Agi required 198

Maximum Physical Attack +142
Interval Between Hits 0.1 seconds
Critical Hit Rate +4%

Pricing : (heart of nature 30 x 4,8mil) + (5 mil for souledges) + ( 58 subs x 45k) = 151,61mil

Or go Windpour-Nirvana refine 10: +468 atk
Grade 13
Attack Speed 1.43
Attack Range 2.5
Physical attack 575-778
Str required 153
Agi required 203

Interval Between Hits 0.1 seconds
Vitality +16~17
Pyrogram (5% hp decrease)

Pricing : Souledge for caturma 5mil + (3.5mil x 2 gold mat) + (30 subs x 45k) + (100 raptures x 2.1mil) = 223.35mil

Has I see it is with striking dragon I win the +142 max atk and a crit +4%. I loose the +17 vit but i need 5 less dex that i can relocate in vit. and the 5% hp decrease i loose from windpour good on bm/barbs ..

I will be fully stack with vit stones anyway and maybe some jade +2 defense stones, so i guess the striking is better since the refine is quite similar and with the amount of money i save i can refine more?

I think where its better, it's if you go all the way to grade 15, then the Windpour is only 150 rapture and the striking 230 which means approximatively 170mil.

I need your feedback, any other ideas?

Striking Dragon would seem to be the best choice. The high base and max attack is surely a winner. Vitality on windpour would prove to be better if you tank instances but with a +10 fist (either of these two) and armor sharded with VIT +10 stones I'ld go with the higher damage than more VIT.

The Pyrogram add-on is useful in 1v1 PvP against BMs and barbs but HA classes aren't really our targets. In TW and instances you'ld have STA from archers so again Striking Dragon wins with extra damage and crit.

I prefer getting a good p.attack weapon since our armor and ornaments give us the defense and HP.

EDIT:- Instead of spending cash, farming the claws would be better since you will get into most of the squads, being a barb. Farming Striking Dragon is much easier too. If you ever decide to get Ghost Vanquisher then you would need 230 raptures for SD against 250 raptures (as a whole) from the Windpour path.

Farming striking dragon is mostly impossible, i guess.... the drop rate is horrible. I heard that only 1 person farmed a red mat in raging tide server.

If i look in pwdatabase i got these drop rates:

Heart of Nature Default: 0.0042% Reel : 0.1008%

Seeing my luck i guess i'd have to do 500 runs to get it. But i guess i will do alot of TT3-3 runs to get all my gold mats b:sad

Oh sorry for not being clear. What I meant when I said that farming for Striking Dragon is easy, was that farming for the fist needs TTs rather than Nirvana. Of course, you'ld have to spend 150 mil (almost) to get Heart of Nature. You can start farming TTs for all the molds and buy the Heart and get ready with your fists as soon as you get to 100, rather than start doing Nirvana runs at 100 (or spend 200 mil buying Raptures) to get to your claws.

Since you didn't write anything about getting to Ghost Vanquisher, I thought getting a fist BEFORE doing a Nirvana would be better. You can always do Nirvana and sell Raptures to even out the 150 mil you spend on Heart of Nature.

Its your call though. Good Luck b:victory

Yeah for the ghost, by going throught the windpour it's less expensive but i think by going there it's becoming overkill....

The game is getting more and more expensive, those greedy GM is digging deap in our pockets, so i guess with the 200 raptures I will try to refine more gear and shard it better !

If your funds are limited, decide claws are cheeper (and more farmable) than both. While not nearly as sexy they do refine just as well, and/or could be used to farm cash for the other two while being able to be when no longer needed.

Edit: oh,wait, windpour made from decides...yeah I just got that lol...oops. nirvana'ing them up really doesn't do much for though, I'd rather make some smexy axes.

You don't need to do TT for the souledges, you can just use a soul of relics.

Yep. I am aware of the Souls exchange for Souledges/Molds of the weapons. Being a non cash shopper and a hardcore mat farmer, I'ld rather put that amount of coin to get something unfarmable like a wing trophy rather than getting the Molds of some easily farmable weapons. That's how I got my Ashura. So advised the same.

But of course, if the OP doesn't like farming or already has a good amount of coin or zen in his existing account then buying the Soul Relics would give you instant molds.

And what should i socket in that....

    Garnet phys atk +75,
    Accuracy ?
    atk lvl +1 ?

I mean... does atk lvl +1 makes +1% x damage ... so if i crit its 1% x the total amount of crit ?

I am demon barb with 2 lunar might rings

Soul of Relics only cost like 9-12M on my server....and that gives you all 4 soul edges. Also for your TT 100 you can use tokens of best luck to buy the red mats, that's what they do on my server. I think it'd be easier to farm the coin for a soul of relics rather than the actual soul edges though.

I didn't know that the souls were so cheap that you'ld get all the 4 molds for 12 mil. If that is the case then farming TT for the coin, instead of the mats, is definitely a much much better way. And about the red mats - yes I pointed that out in my earlier post. The red mat costs around 150 mil.
