    I've studied semantics and semiotics for quite a few years, so I'm into word meaning and unusual lexical constructions.
    It seems to be pretty niche and hardly used, I guess that's why it didn't come up in my search for the term (silly me, I should have included a lexical criterion to refine the search better).

    In addition, isn't a twink usually a character that is NOT the main character. And it's usually maxed out in some way because of the stuff you did on your main, not because of the stuff you did on said alt. That's usually the way I've understood it.

    Correct. An example is the level 89 characters in full +12 (insert best gear available for the level here) that tend to rule PK tourney on the various servers. Meanwhile, someone like Wizzeled who had a +7 level 48 crossbow (back in the day when a set of +5s was considered major) isn't a twink as he had worked (well cashed but details) for it with that character.

    Youre not the only one. I was pretty surprised in the beginning as well and didnt find anything else than the "known" meaning .Ive only seen german gamers use this term so far and alwaysd laugh my *** off when theyre using it. One time i told one of my old fac mates to google it .... Yeah, he never used it again b:chuckle

    BTW, still waiting for the puff bird to become a tameable pet lol. I wont loose my hope!

    it works well LA, and you're forced to be LA until 70 anyway. ALL gear you are given is class-based, and on a NS ALL you can get is LA armor.

    Sorry, could you clarify? Are you saying NS can't equip HA (assuming requirements are met), or just that the free gear the game throws left and right is LA for the NS?

    Well, at 100 everyone gets a free stat reset when awakening, so you could switch to HA then, if you want to save money. And really, mold gear is cheap, morai 95 armor is awesome till 100, so one can be all set with little to no investment.

    I sure hope so, I'm planning to get the full set for my nightshadow and the weapon for the fairy (since I already have the g16 armor to stash).

    The new LA class can also wear HA without any problems, i did this when accidentally picking the free HA set instead of LA set.

    the freebie armors you get are class restricted on the current live server. if you get them "accidentally" you must have done it on the test servers

    There may be some new skills added yet, it seems this is pretty much just a test for new classes, there is a lot missing that shouldn't be.

    For instance:

    "Long" manufacture (as told by a chinese friend: "Moon Scythe" and "Long Knife")
    Demon/sage skills
    79/100 skills

    I wasn't around here when Tideborn came, but OPKossy said they didn't have their 79/100 and Sage/Demon skills when they first came out.

    I can say it's also true for Earthguard. Mystics and Seekers got their 79 and 100 skills after the expansion.

    At least, they have one of their 79 skills :p

    Edit: Any new videos lately? Its been a long time since we watched a new video :p

    Tideborn and Earthguard also didn't get exclusive genie skills back then, but surely can find any of the existing skills that fit with the classes.

    Any new finding on how many chienkun will be needed for recasting r8r / morai gears ?

    tb patched quickly though, I don't think we'll have a 1.5.2 that is prior to demon/sage skills

    Also, I asked a few pages ago but I got no response - there was a screenshot taken on the new site of a female wizard sitting on a goldfish mount and flying through the air with her weapon drawn forward...does this mean upgraded land mounts can also fly? And battle?
