Unfortunately, I can't find any screenshots of my psychic, Zharkai, anywhere. She's the only other character I had screenshots before I left the place I was living in previously
and that was with my mum. I'll try and hunt on the forums If I placed any snapshots here.
She's completely different to Es, shes more, sultry I think
EDIT: I found two images, but thats about it..
Name: Zharkai (pronounces sark-eye) Antisocial, vandal, attitude
Nick: Zha-Zha (she hates being called it but she just picked it up)
Age: 22
Most likely to say: "You lot are all insane, thats good, we all get along better with it"
Zharkai Saw her parents killed by the night spike at the tender age of 6. Since then she had looked after her 2 siblings and lived rough until Raging Tide's top Psychic took her in. She learnt and studied hard about the elements, and is now a fierce, grown up, sharp tongued girl of 22.
Often her attitude to life is that everybody she doesnt know will harm her(this is from her time living rough), and she won't back down from a fight if somebody takes the wizz out of her background, or her race (I can see the lemon wedge jokes keph.. >>). If somebody anoys her, shes more than welcome to slap them on the back of the head, or infront of their face. She usually disobeys orders, but if it comes to life and death, she'll make an exeption.
She looks at the world around her as "A living hell", And is ruthless at casting her spells in battle. If she wants to attack, she will do it without any warning. When she is angry, her spells can rip open the ground if she wants (this usually happens with aqua cannon)- meaning she'll damage usually everywhere she goes.
But despite all this, she has a soft inside. Zharkai appretiates the beauty of flowers, she is also one to look after those who get upset (this is a kind of motherly side, because she looked after her siblings).
Likes: Causing chaos, meditating alone, causing as much damage in a fight as possible..
Dislikes: People calling her sushi.. "Do I look like a buffet to you?", and also has an ironic fear of water...

Wow, has been a long time since I've seen that signature (yours, Reikara xD) around. =D
When I looked at the current team of the bad guys I found that andracil's character personality quite overlaps with that of my own venomancer, Silvychar.
So I thought I'd apply with my main.
Silvychar:
Personality:
Silvy's more or less a lone wolf, belonging to the calm and quieter type, who doesn't like to speak that much, she acts rather as observer and watches what others do.
Interacts only if it's really necessary (with hinting out stuff or so).
While she's a loner, distant to most people, she's loyal to her friends and feral companions (which applies especially to wolves as her actual pet partner is a wolf called Samuel) and a very honest person. That fragment of her personality displays itself in her habit to try to save her team mates at any costs or even to sacrifice herself for a good cause.
Her overall appearance is cold, solemn, melancholic and sometimes evil/weird/psychotic and restless; but she shines in rare moments in which she's rather nice and helpful (deep inside she's friendly and good anyway).
Even if she has good quality of being a leader, she prefers to be a follower instead and an adviser on top (if needed).
Silvy's a huntress by heart (not to mention a demon), fighting either with a bow, a magic sword or even claws.
Nevertheless Silvy's a complex character with general flaws and psychological problems.
Driven by a competitive mind she can only accept others who are more skilled than her if she talks things down, being completely negative and pessimistic with a really sarcastic and ironic way of thinking and speaking.
Additionally to her mental 'issues' she has problems with her self-control.
If she's being seriously hurt (mentally and/or physically), she loses her mind and goes 'berserk', trying to kill the one who caused her pain. When she really snaps she can be quite sadistic and enjoys hurting people. The cause for this is the demon blood that flows within her and her dark background.
Background/Past:
Her past is entirely unknown. She hates talking about such things and avoids topics of that kind. The only thing that is known is that she's demon blood in her veins. Other than being a restless character with no real aim and hidden wishes and dreams, she's just there, just present. It is said that she has not even a soul; that she sealed her soul in the body of a kowlin, but these are just rumours.

Personality: Distant and mission oriented the majority of the time, but has very dry sense of humor and affectionate with those he's close to or feels loyalty for. He is entirely confident in a fight, and is never far from his swords, but when just wandering around, he tends to get easily distracted and trip over things. He generally takes an all or nothing view of larger issues, very "with us or against us" thinking, which can cause problems with negotiations. He has a chip on his shoulder about authority in general, but will act with deference towards anyone he honestly respects.
History: In his first incarnation, Will spent most of his youth training in the armed forces, eventually finding that he had a talent for passing what he'd learned on to the next generation. He eventually assumed a position similar to Master Sergeant, and began shepherding groups of young trainees through the process of becoming competent soldiers. He felt a strong bond with his students, past and present, and tries to keep track of especially promising ones. Privately, he felt the respect they showed him had to be earned every single day, because he often felt unworthy of it. After coming back as an Earthguard, he continued with training people, this time as a Seeker teaching newly risen souls instead of the young.

Since the Barb position was taken by Keph, my submission is going to now be for my male Seeker, Wyrmfiend.
His backstory:
Originally named Tim, his name was changed to Wyrmfiend after he repeatedly showed an interest in cowing the bad dragon that was the family pet. Since then, he has shown promise as a Seeker, one who searches for the will of Pan Gu while traveling the world. Due to this promise, he had been instructed in the ways of sword combat, and has learned many secrets exclusive to the Earthguard. Whether in a team of fighters or by himself, he fights to learn the truth, and to defeat the evil in the world.
His likes:
Life, truth, and the battle necessary to defend those things
His dislikes:
Lies, evil, and the things which he must fight to prevent those things
Hobbies:
Fixing his hair (yes, he's vain), preserving the truth

Class: Cleric
Personality: Fairly easy to get along with, though she is very adamant in her disbelief of Pan Gu. She doesn't like to keep secrets but is trustworthy if absolutely needed. She enjoys helping others and will even heal an enemy if she has to watch their death. Her greatest weakness is watching someone die. She occasionally smokes when she worries too much or while thinking about her husband.
History: When she was young, she lost her parents and twin brother to a crazed archer while living in Bamboo village. After this, she went to live with her cousin in Etherblade and eventually met and married a Blademaster (Imprisoned) there. He, too, eventually met his end in a territory war. Now, she firmly denies any existence of a higher power, especially Pan Gu. However, these losses made her increase her studies in the art of healing so she doesn't have to watch another die.
Extras: She has a mole near the corner of her right eye and a tattoo of wings on her back. Her wings are Seraphic Mists and her weapon a Lunar Nirvana glaive. Her mount is also a Nien Beast.

Age: Looks young, but age unknown.
Race: Tideborn
Class: Psychic
Personality: Is very shy and dislikes talking about herself. When she does, it is to point out details that were missed and to correct others. To add more to that, she is very intelligent and notices details that others might not have. With such a focused mind, she can notice a little detail in a story that seems suspicious or something wrong in the surroundings.
History: Little is known about her background other than her sister is an assassin in training and is 6 years old.

One difference between pwi though and this comic is that if venos shapeshift (and barbs too) they will assume the animal form that they have depicted in their humanoid form. Example a kirin veno will shift into a kirin, a bat into a bat etc. Although you happened to mention wolf in here a bit. Is Silvy more of a wolf or a fox veno?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Xainou is the kind of person you could call slightly shizophrenic. She's nice, a playful kitten on the outside but a born killer behind that. It's hard to earn her trust but if you got it, she's extremely loyal and would stay on a sinking ship with you. She cares a lot for the people she trusts, always has an open ear for their problems or a hug if they need cheering up.
But as kind and loyal she is to her friends, as vicious she is to her enemies. Xainou absolutely hates weakness and begging. Her past taught her that noone will help you if you can't stand up for yourself and that's how she lives. She's loyal to whoever she serves but always her own master. Trying to force her into something she doesn't want wouldn't end well for whoever does it. She's a lot of a stray, she's gonna fulfill her task perfectly but don't expect her to report back daily.
Xai knows very well about her being a cute looking woman with those kitty ears. And she wouldn't hesitate to use it if it helped her to an advantage. Around her people she's the cute kitten, the cheerful young girl. But she can switch to killer mode instantly if it's needed. Her loyal companion is her phoenix. She admires his strength and him being so much like her. Being able to grant mercy but at the same time having the power to kill in an instant.
Xai loves knowing she got power. She doesn't need to lead, she's happy with the thought of being someones right hand and being able to turn the tables whenever she wants.

Although I think if I remember right Zoe applied for the good guys, at least that's what I had her down as. This puts me in a bit of a situation though. She'd do excellently in the mafia I think But I'm limiting the good guys to one veno also, but there's strict personality requirements on that veno due to the story line. So I guess it's up to Zoe to what she wants to do, but I don't think she'd really fit that good guy's spot.

I'm in the mood to do more of them except I really can't until I have the story laid out properly. I mean it affects what they do, where, when and the environment too. There's only 3 characters I can draw at the moment and that's limited to chapter covers only. So I'd really like to get the character selections done asap so I can then get to work on the story.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Take your time with the selections imo, if you rush looking through all the applications then you may regret your choices later on. My apps are fully complete, so i'm not worried about adding anything else to them now. Yesterday I was all "oh! i forgot that" or "maybe she'd be better like this"
I'd also recommend doing a development diary at the front of your topic, kidn of like what Dorset and other fanatics do on theirs. It may be a little easier for you to keep on track fo what you are doing ^^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]<3 by Silvy

Guys, if there's any custom things about your characters that didn't/ don't exist in PWI regarding your character's appearance/ weapons/ armour etc feel free to write them down. The comic itself story wise deviates a little from PWI concepts (such as levels being the sole determining factor of a fight) and there's two characters existing already who have custom armour sets.
However there's a bit of a rule to it. The custom changes need to keep a PWI-ness about them, they need to look like they'd still belong in the PWI universe. Take for example Kehpras's custom armour he linked to which purely kept the PWI level 80 armour design, he simply changed the colour and details on it. Another custom thing he added is a tail as a humanoid animal. As long as they're not too far fetched from PWI (or too difficult to put into a comic to be drawn over and over again) I'm happy to go with it. If your idea is a bit too impractical or strays too far from PWI, I'll work with you to compromise on it.
You may also notice the latest art I did of Kyna's character has a custom armour set she designed. As well as making her a little more unique, it was easier for me to work with since it had less intricate detail compared to PWI's version of the level 70 heavy armour. As another example, Silvychar's veno is a wolf, instead of a fox. Since Venomancers are evolved from critters, some being close to wolves it still made sense in that respect.
Also I think I may see about some kind of art gift for those who don't make the comic. I don't like the idea of everyone losing out and I do appreciate all the submissions I get.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
