Did it ever occur to you that these people called rule-breakers existed? It was a well-known fact that you could multiclient PWI, or any game that matter that lets you multiclient without third parties even if they say you shouldn't, with very little chance of being caught.

If you seriously think people bought a computer or five more just to multiclient on PWI rather than, you know, just break the rules, you are one of the most naive people I've seen in a while. Stupid assumption to make.

I don't think it's a stupid assumption. If you play for a year or two and then suddenly get permabanned and loose all the effort put into it the risk taken would actually be the stupid choice.

Annyway... Who's up for trying to get the max amount of clients each person to 3? It's not realy my problem but I'm willing to also vote for that since it would lighten some of the burden ppl are having now... All we need is a poll and ppl posting valid reasons for why it would be better to have 3 instead of 2 without filling the topic with pure QQ... b:cute

I have three accounts as I enjoy experimenting with character creation/definition. I did this originally because it took too long to delete an existing character.

Fellas, the datastructure describing a character cant be that large. It would be a handwaver to save archived character data in something like an SQLite database locally and just remove that character from active use. (Potentially restoring it later if needed). Encrypt it if needed - although I cant imagine why you would do that.

You may have players that are 'problems' that use multiple accounts to create mischief. I'm not one of those. Your solution to the problem they create doesnt belong at my feet to be honest. When this happens - to me or anyone else - it causes resentment. Be aware of that.

BTW, I dont run simultaneous accounts. Dont know that I ever would. (I think merchants harm the game).

Fix Flight Mastery

I used eagle wings briefly - then returned to the original wings and invested in Flight Mastery (1.6m/s bonus) which doesnt appear to be applied. I suspect that somehow your code - subsequent to the original wing change - doesnt understand that I am using the original wings.

Yeah it's realy sad for those who didn't abuse it... Annyway I'll try setting up a poll tomorow morning for trying to get it extended to 3 clients each... Hopefully we can all keep it civil and it might work... Yeah I know I'm an idiot willing to do this... I won't gain anything from it yet I want to try my best for some that are effected by it... b:surrender

i relly think 2 is enough, every one always wants more if the rules said it was 5 people would always for 6 or 7 so not be happy what they give and go gamming,

they being kind enough to allow 2 most free mmorpg games only allow 1 account, let be happy with this before they change they mind and put it back to only 1

For the way you play the game that may be true, but when my veno's squad failed to complete the days BH chain and I had no time to find another squad, I would log in a barb and a cleric to help.

My first mmorpg had no account limit. It also had built into the game the means to lvl afk, and the means by which to speed up lvling while afk, called bursting. It was not an exploit, it was an intended feature. The item required was time limited, and it was sold in the games Item Mall. That game was called Wonderland Online.

I left that game for PWI because that game was isomorphic, not true 3D. PWI is true 3D, and its beauty is like a drug.

As I got into playing PWI I was able to create a non tank/cleric class and log in a tank and cleric to help it when things went wrong.

Suddenly, the rules changed.

Now I am prevented from logging in a tank and a cleric to help an alt when things go wrong. Although the realism of the game is still addictive, because I cannot log in the tank and cleric together with my alt, I find myself wondering why I should play any other class than barb and cleric.

I don't have time enough to find another squad to restart the days BH chain when things go wrong with the squad I'm in. When things go wrong for either the barb or the cleric, I just log the 2 in and they finish off the BH. But when things go wrong for my veno, archer, wiz, bm, sin, psychic or seeker, they're now stuck up that creek without a paddle.

Now that my barb and cleric are not permitted to help a third alt in trouble, I am becoming frustrated when playing the other classes and bored when playing the barb and cleric. I find myself wondering what else I could be doing for entertainment.

This is one thing I don't realy get lately... Ppl never have the time to do stuff in a game... I don't know how it is now these days but doesn't playing an MMO generaly mean you have enough time to waste? b:question

I play to unwind from a hard days work. Since I often work 10 or more hrs a day, my playing time is usually quite short. Often I can only manage 1 quest before falling asleep at the keyboard.

The limit of 2 accounts per person is new. It was never only one account per person, only one client per computer. The people who previously had more than 2 accounts are allowed to keep them, they just aren't allowed to have more than 2 online at any given time.

yes, as long as you're not logged on to another account at the same time.

2 catshop = no main
or
1 cat shop + 1 main

Oh wow. So I play together with my gf who plays two characters (one high for leveling us + her new one) and I play with one (my main). As we are on the same IP i guess we get asked about this. But how does that happen? Do we get a GM note or something or does our account get set on hold again (like the last time for w/e reason).

This is all determined on a case-by-case basis. They can't answer you for sure about it.

frankie, ever since this rule was changed, More lag was created in Arch. I believe that was the main reason why multi clienting was banned. And now since you gms allowed it, there is more lag then ever. I suggest you fix the lag since you created a problemb:beatup

Settings yo, turn them down.

Its graphical, not connection lag. Try hitting best performence, it works wonders.

I feel multi clienting rule is good .....but with the 3 in this house running the game it kinda bothers me .... why not worry more bout those who have changed the files ...walks through locked walls.... botting while some where else an like some have said using these accounts to solo NV an such... me my son an my hubby play... so that is 3 runnin here so now with the NEW rules only two can run at the same time... but oh wait those guys can still walk through locked doors cause they found a way round it .... thank you for makin a family "thing" no longer ...... keep hackin guys your doin good gettin rich .....b:surrender

Its just the Launcher who needs a fix. If your Game is full updated go to where you have perfect world installed. Find your element folder. In that folder is an ElementClient.exe if you use that you can run more then one client.b:dirty
