That is called mass hysteria. It happens when people do not listen to the official news and instead chose to believe in the rumours being spread.
It happens alot in RL as well....Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -

Ive already drowned. I just want to be heard and protest alongside the majority to discurage anyone who may potentially give PWI any money.

I'm really disappointed in what the GMs are doing to the game. It's not the game I started playing, it's not the game I enjoyed while leveling up.
Being good at the game has nothing to do with it. Doesn't matter if you're a good cleric, a great tank... the person who spends the most real money will be the best. The best PKer, the best tank, the best healer, the best DDer, and that's how it works.
I wish I had known this before I spent so much time and energy in this game. I would have picked something else.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I don't reallly care if they are gone now. The damage is already done from the first event. And I don't even mean the gold prices, but the fact that a lot of people have gear that puts a huge gap pvp wise between players.0

And once again, it is not the GM's....I would not like to be in their shoes right now listening to everyone gripe.
Oh and to the above ---> The forums IS NOT THE MAJORITY SPEAKING!! The forums actually is a minimal amount of players in comparison to those who actually play the game. There are many who have enver even been to the PWI site except to register b:surrenderThis. Sad to say now.. This game without the packs is a broken game.

This is all wrong, It's seriously wrong.. In my life I haven't ever seen SO MUCH complains about a game in their own Forums and nothing be done about it, In my life with any other game i've played before... The players who visit the Game Forums are usually the more serious and dedicated players, and all they get in return for complains or suggestions is... '' You are only less than 10% of our player population'' THAT is just the wrong answer... it's plain wrong to treat your most valued players like ****, It's unheard off .. When the Forums become the worst advertising for it's Game, something is just really wrong.

Not to be mean, but why are you still playing if you dislike the situation that much? Yes, anni packs were great the first time, a confusing addition the 2nd. The game itself has changed very little. Yeah, the economy is horrid now, but when wasn't it? Show me 1, just 1 F2P MMO without a disastrous in-game economy.
With your last little statement, you confuse me. If you have fun while playing, whether or not you cash-shop, you're not throwing away anything. Entertainment can be a transient value that is indirectly linked to what you do. If you have fun, it's not a waste. And if you don't have fun? Why keep up with something that bores/annoys/aggrivates you?
I know that the forums are a very vocal minority, but I'm getting fed up with the whining about everything in this game. People pay to keep this running and keep it maintained. Anni packs are a small reward for doing so. I wouldn't be paying if I didn't get anything back from it. If you don't pay, you get no reward, and players who spend money can choose to give said reward for a determined in-game value. So it's a balancing act of appeasing both sides. Guess where most businesses are going to lean.

Even if the damage is already done for much of the PVP with the gear, the gold prices being so high makes it impossible for many people to be competative in things like PVE even o.o. I know for sure that a lot of people cannot even fathom getting hercs because of it (edit: and i often see people world chatting for herc venos only...ofc i know this is just a veno thing but it really does suck for us
), and charms are so outrageous people turn to alternatives and i've died in squads because of it. at least if the packs are gone gold will drop, this was proven when they were gone for two days and the gold dropped 100k overnight *_*. So, even if you have those ppl with good gear, they'll quit someday right? my worry is for the low levels and such who can't get the same things that i did at their level because of gold prices. I hope that all makes sense, i'm not too great at explaining myself... 0 -
I totaly agree with u Mari_chan... This game has started to worsen every day since the second time the Anni Packs... And now GO DAMN ... They are still going, even after 2 months ... GOLD prices are HELLISH, because of them ... And when I started my new chara (this Veno) I can't even afford a good weapon or an armor... People are selling weapons for lvl 30 for 1-2mil... o.O How is it possible for a new player that jist started the game to get 1-2mil in coins for a weapon, 1-2mil for armor ... for at lvl 30 without buying gold ...
Not to talk about the rare staff that isn't rare anymore >.< And the Lunar Weapons/Gears... Since when did SO MANY players got Lunar Weapons just for a day or 2 ... There is not even an item in game that is RARE anymore ... A month ago it was privilegy to have Brilliant Plumes, Flame Drill and Galactic Beetle and now it's FULL OF THEM ... The same happened with Nien and Ninetails Mounts when they were put in Botique...
Next problem is VENOMANCERS ... So many factions are req Venos with Legendary pets... And lots of ppl are only inviting Venos with Herc in dear TT/RB & etc... How are u suppossed to buy 9999 SoF for 10k each o.O That's 100 mil ... Normal players will probably manage to get them at lvl 80-90 (without spending money on other stuff) ... And now only players who buy gold can afford Legendary pets >.< Where did the time go when they were 20-30mil in coins???? We all now that Legendary Pets are awesome, but so many ppl are starting to descriminate Venos without them >.<
I even see ppleyrs at lvl 25-30 With Hercs/Beetle/Legendary Armor & Weapon/11.0 Speed Mount ... OMG just look at the difference, he can smash everyone around it's lvl ... U just loose the passion of the game at so early lvl just by eeing those players >.<
We all know that u need money for the game to stay alive ... BUT GIVE AT LAST A LITTLE CHANCE TO THE NEW PLAYERS TO ADVANCE ... That's radiculous~0 -

Personally, it doesn't really matter to me.
Yes, they made every cash shop item expensive but as I say "I rather buy something expensive in-game than waste real money for food/bills/movies/video games/clothes/etc." And if I really needed it then it doesn't matter, I'll get it somehow. My charm has lasted me a while and when it dies I'll just wait for the cheapest charm or go without. I don't need a charm but I like to have it. But with prices this high, no way I'm buying it unless I see a cheapo one.
So I'm against.
And the other side to it is well... I'm cheap XD
I can buy my citrines and sapphires cheap.
So I'm for.

I don't have a problem with events, even events that benefit cash shoppers. What I have a problem with is the fact that PWI is blatantly lying about the economy. They are stringing us along. If they were to tell us back in September that the packs were permanent, I could have quit back then. But now I've wasted an extra 2 months of time. They lied to maximize profits. And I have a BIG problem with that. They may legally get away with it, but ethically it is very wrong and I hope they fail.0 -

Careful people. Say something the GM's don't like and they'll ban you. I know a few who have been banned for simply expressing themselves about this matter. They didn't swear or anything, but yet they got banned because they chose to have a voice.
And they weren't even temporary bans, nor did they get any warnings. Perma-bans right on the spot.0 -
Oh I hope it does. I'll be watching their stocks, and if their current down trend continues, I'll be laughing all the way.0
