Tell me about it...I was doing the Tiger's Spirit quest in Etherblade Lake when I got one of the weirdest error messages I have ever seen...

Apparantly I don't have the required language set loaded.

The game just threw me out all of a sudden and wouldn't allow that character back in.

Sigh - I'll probably have to start over.

why the threat of rollbacks is making some of you nervous. Especially those of you who stand to lose real money in the process. But to those of you complaining about rollbacks simply because of xp loss... take a good long look in the mirror. Is this game all your life is about?! There's more to life than a few lost hours in a video game....

After reading many of your postings here I decided to post as well. A similar glitch happened on another site I had been on...regarding the coin issue. Many people knew it had been a glitch...but continued to use it...or rather take advantage of it....which by the legal rules of their site had been illegal to do so.

Of course this site had been able to check each person's account...took them a very long time to do...but they had stopped all sales from their catalog, etc...until they had the glitch fixed. Those who had taken advantage of the glitch, had their coin taken from then, and put on a banishment. For those who were unaware of the small glitch at first, received no punishment...due to their informing the proper people of the glitch.

Myself...when it had happened...I hadn't known at first...gained approximately 5 items with the extra coin before I had actually realized there was something wrong. I instantly made a list of what I acquired, then went to the forums...contacted a Moderator I knew...and gave her that list...apologized and told her to take the items back seeing as I did not deserve them and they were not mine to keep.

Others had done the same thing that I had done...those of us who had done this had been rewarded of course by being able to keep what we had bought, but the extra coin had been taken from us. I never complained not once...since technically it wasn't mine in the first place.

But yes they did have a system for checking peoples accounts for such things...and would very well know exactly how much coin you had before the glitch happened...compared to what you have after.

PW's is not that much difference...therefore they too most likely have these systems set up. And therefore...those who had taken advantage of this glitch should therefore receive appropriate punishment for it.

I mean come on...common sense needs to be used here. Mobs do NOT drop that much coin...therefore you should have reported this right away...instead of taking advantage of it. Sure it might be nice...but it is technically wrong.

A roll back on the servers may not work...but checking peoples accounts will...and those who have taken advantage of this glitch deserves a proper punishment...even if they do not think so.

No I do not want the coin they received...no I am not even jealous...simply because they received this coin in a way that would seem illegal to me.

although there is more then a game in life, these people have put in some hard work to hit 80+...while still (assuming) they have a life...

i did alot of quests this morning to hit lvl 29 so that i could finish my cultivation quest and do fb29. i hit lvl 29 right before it was announced about the maintance..... if we get rolled back....i just hope to find someone to help me with my quests again.... b:sad

i say all the lvl 80+ get dropped to lvl 15. lol jk..

anyone no if theres another game like PW that u can play for free...

A market works on supply and demand. TT, fbs, mob drops, manufacturing, all this keeps constantely supplying the market, and the demand will continue to come from the 'ordinary' player who does not have 100 million+ coins stacked in their accounts, so they will not be able to pay for overpriced items. Thus, those players with all those coins will only be able to efficiently buy things for their own use, but they won't be able to affect the market beyond that too much, unless they wish to fill alt accounts with heaps of things they themselves can't use, maybe just to look at them, but that's about it, as the supply of these items is not halting but just continuing.

None of the not paying players ever complains about the gold prices ingame dropping - whilst the real life cash for the gold stays up - or do they complain about that too..?

Some will have made coins today from selling gold, and they haven't made those coins of any 'normal' player. I am still actually utterly confused as to who bought the gold at high prices anyway O.O.. it is a true mystery to me, but many will have sold gold and made some coins where usually they get rather little for their real life cash recently. I sold some gold, but could have sold far more, just decided I did not wish to, simply because I didn't care for making too many coins, the thought doesn't appeal to me in all honesty, as it takes away from the challenge for me. I just found it more amazing and amusing to watch what was going on, and it was like a game in it's own right *blinks*

But I DO care for the dress I bought today which has exactly the colour I adore that dress to be, and the boots match too. I'd gladly chuck all my coins just for that dress, so it's all about priorities of individuals, I guess >.>

The market should be just fine, a bit hick-upping maybe for a while, but that will go away, just hold breath for a bit ^^

Sorry - I totally disagree. An MMO is by definition something where the actions of others affect you. This is an example where it appears there is definite and extreme unfairness that has taken place - against both the rules and spirit of the game. It is not so much about the economy collapsing, as about the higher end of it only being available for the few in the future.

*misses the game* I'm sick today so PW is the only thing i can do today. Gotta stay in bed.b:cry
