Was last season towards the end and it wasn't really an alliance offer. Was mostly just a "hey, if you don't interfere, we won't bother you" thing. The response back was "no because you are literally evil!".

Lol not 2 hours that would be asinine. As to your other question yes it is possible for r9 be farmed. I farmed a r9 axe belt and ring but gave up. Its possible but farming r9 is mind-numbingly hard and you will go cross-eyed from the experience. I'm sure you can agree with me though, most people who have r9 csed it. I only know 3 people on the server who I know didn't cs their r9 set. Thus my opinion on r9.0 -

I know, it's pretty sad. Though when you are an archer, have 18k hp with nw buffs and go alone, it does take some time to get started again if you die. And in my case, i get hate targetted enough to make sure i do in fact die, sometimes.0 -

I'm just talking out of experience with people I farmed with back in the day. Not saying its not possible, but its the equivalent of saying you farmed the equivalent of 750$ or (1500$ when I was farming) from pixels and that's just base r9. There is reason to exercise a great degree of doubt. I've known many merchants, farmers and people who did both. But very few of them broke the billion mark and many more were content with r8/nirvy. Even fewer achieved the astounding feat of completely f2p r9. It truly is a accomplishment only a few people can accomplish. But those people in my opinion. Can be counted with the fingers of one hand. On top of being extremely well geared, these people are some of the most skilled people I have met. But there's always a chance I may be wrong. After all I haven't been in game really for 5 months up till now.0 -

for next season, make new factions -> Flame, Frost, Light and ..oh damn..Dark.
the members of those factions will be determinated by the Friday-NW before map-reset. no squads are allowed and everyone has to use a teleport stone after the NW and then meet at Netherspring Camp. Leader of the factions will be the first person that types something in nation chat that day. you have balanced factions now. this idea may be stolen and copied, i dont mind. no need to thank me
was that related enough, crazyblademasta?

1 word to sum it up for the original poster.
EGO
Look at it like this.
Harshlands is like a club/bar whatever. Usually 2 types of people.
Group #1 - You have the small few that go there to enjoy themselves, relax, to have a little bit of fun.
Then you have the others.
Group #2 - Those d-bags at clubs who fist pump to every song played, wear 4 polo shirts that have the collar popped on each one of them, the awesome craptastic tribal tattoo arm band on the upper arm, orange spay tanned running off onto their more then skin tight spandex shirts that show off their Moobs.
Hope that answers your question.
I want to be in Group #2. Please.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I'm in the group #3. Me, myself and I.0

IMO, it's not that our server can't break the mold and change habits. They just don't want to. No politics involved. There's really nothing wrong with it either. OP's original point in my eyes was "These guys are cowards and so are their allies and the opposing factions as well!" Maybe I missed something. Maybe I'm reading wrong. Maybe they put it in a way that dumb blondes like this girl didn't bother to evaluate the statements properly. Regardless, and as much as I hate to agree with someone as dirty as Long; You don't get your way because you say so. Especially if I don't.
Unless we're all relaying details about which faction is going where at map reset, there's a good chance somebody is gonna pick the "Oh look, you're going to be screwed on down the line." corner. It's usually a small temporary faction that will TW the first couple weeks before being knocked off by a slightly better or larger one. More rarely, it's one of the big guys. They simply pick a spot too close to someone that is going to challenge them repeatedly. If they can't beat them, their season is over unless they let themselves be wiped and reposition themselves farther away which A) Boots little guilds off sooner and Leaves them to fight mediocre wars for a good part if not most of the season. Once again the map is an unappealing pile of 5 or so major factions some of which who are usually french kissing on the down-low.
Moot point inspired by Crazy, R9 is obtainable without spending one cent on this game. However, it's such a pain in the royal hiney that most people don't care to spend the required amount of log time to reach that goal. Also. The majority of self-proclaimed "pure farmers" either CSed part of or had extensive help in some way to get their gear. It doesn't make them less worthy of the gear. It doesn't mean because they farmed most of it that they are automatically entitled bragging rights for more skill.
With that logic you'd be claiming that Player 1, having completely farmed his gear is superior to Player 2 who clearly has no skill at all because his gear was mostly CSed. Yes?
No. It means one person spent more time, one person spent more money. It doesn't mean Cash shoppers eat puppies and farmers **** rainbows like Long apparently does. -Jelly.- It means they did things differently and that's all there is to it.

I saw this thread little late, my apologies
I have to react on few things said here. Just in few wordsmayhem going after kylin or whatever small faction they find cuz there is no other equal/challenging/same level or access to atk- faction to go after...and ofc a change in the politics about crim is insanelly absurd
We are going after Kylin because it is only logical choice at the moment. They broke a deal we had with them, and no one server has guts to stack Infamous. Its quite simple actually. Your lack of understanding for this is simply... errr. Incredible?deicide/cjr/kylin/dominio/bankai or whatever are playing humpy/jumpy hoping through every faction on this server in a search for good tw's instead of trying to consolidate/merge a strong leadership to actually do something (maybe atk mayhem? or merge with it to atk crim or dark or infa?) but no.....the ego is too big
All alt guilds, except Kylin...? And btw, no that wasn't a compliment. Considering they aren't alt guild they should preform slightly better, but they don't.(probably cuz of poney power or something, just like mayhem doesn't touch their beloved "brothers" as they preffer to be cannon fodder)
Yeh lets bid our allies. Perfect sense buddy.
Your post is written in some desire to have some competitive TW map with 10 guilds? Yeh not gonna happen. There isn't enough player base to have that many guild who would be capable of providing good TW's.0 -
Mayhems probably better off going solo, easier to keep enough lands to gear your ppl anddddd you won't have to play meat shield for an ally. There's allies (meat shield) and there's friends with benefits (mutual agreement in which both sides gain). You guys didn't have to play meat shield and made plenty of coin, use the coin to gear up and fight guilds above you.
Yeah we hid behind infamous for a while in order to build, they helped us from fending off crimson we helped them by fending off mayhem. Now we can hold our own fairly, only thing we can't fight are the ppl camping the tos in order to get us banned but hey if that's how you play pwi and send your time, enjoy.0 -

These forums need more cool bear wave.
Also, the disbelief about people farming their r9rr is hilarious. I have no doubt that there's a lot of people that farmed/merched all of their gear nowadays. As for myself, I CS'd the r8 back on the very first r8 sale and then the r9 and all the +10s were completely farmed via TT, BHes, and events. The cannies and raps were farmed by the NW squad we had formed at the time in which we took turns getting the stuff for everyone's gear. b:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

As to your your points I agree. But, I don't think it's habit that keeps harshlands map in it's stagnant state. Rather, its state is a result from low population and a huge gear gap.
As for r9 I agree that it's farmable and insanely hard to do so. I know only 3 people out of the entire server who did. I even know how they did it and tried to do the same. I failed though, it was too time consuming. For that reason I mostly roll my eyes when some of these self proclaimed godly farmers claim they farmed their r9.
This brings me to your next point.
I agree, just because someone cash-shops their gear doesn't make them a bad player. In fact there are many skilled cash-shoppers in the game. But most of the player base now is FCC hyper leveled. The majority of the player base don't know their classes in-depth.0
