    I can't get into pony culture, but I'm thinking of starting a Pokemon culture page on here so i can discuss my obsession with others now that Zany is gone (he was annoying as hell, but he knew alot about pokemon, even if the way he played was also annoying, hazard swap and stalling)

    However i will try to contribute to this page with an awesome image of a pony(ta)

    Nicely played.

    The first Gen V games were a huge disapointment to me, having no selection from classic pokes up until after e4, and they made me actually quit pokemon for over a year. However when i got an emulator shortly after getting a droid phone i started playing emerald obsessively again, and then i recovered my ds and got black 2, which is probably the best poke game to date. Gen V OU is boring though, way too much stallers, like Zanryu. Send me a message if you wanna battle me! b:cute

    I never really found Stall to be that bad (occasionally carried Reuniclus on balanced teams as insurance or ran Heavy Offense type teams), but all the weather control became really frustrating. b:surrender

    I'll definitely consider battling you once Ive got a better understanding of UU too~

    Don't call Keldeo silly till you can see what it can do.
    Also Keldeo is not simply a pony, it is a member of the swords of justice, who fight evil! Lets see your lame ponies do that!

    As one of two water fighting type, with a high special attack Keldeo is amazing. Keldeo Resolute earned the honor of recieving the nickname Suzaku when making my code geass themed team!
    Also I honestly haven't tried UU, Im using Pokemon Showdown and doing monotype fights, they are tons of fun!

    Gonna start a pokemon thread of its own after i shower!

    Oh wow, it's been an age since I've heard about that project! I don't think I'll have time to try it out though. D: If you do try it, let us know how it's like! I'm sure a lot has changed in 15 months.

    -SPOILERS-
    This is partly a random jumble of thoughts so excuse the poor organization.
    Overall it was pretty good and fit in well with the canon. The EQG stuff felt very much like a separate universe but it still helped to flesh out twilights role as an alicorn princess.

    I don't really think the setting is as accessible as the show though since highschool seems like its more relevant to the tween target demographic. The songs also were more tweeny-bop and less traditional.

    The character designs felt a little uninspired except for rainbow dash. All the other girls looked pretty lame I thought and all were anorexic.. That's a big step down from cute chubby pastel ponies. They were pretty smart to keep the pastel coloring because the animation felt a little too stiff to be fully human.

    That school is just plain not as cool as Ponyville. Really they could have told pretty much that same story with actual ponies and it would have worked fine, but I understand Hasbro has to sell toys so whatever.

    My favorite part was probably all the silly humor of twilight derping at being a human. The movie would not have worked well without that. I also liked how they spaced out the character reveals so every time you see the humanification of a pony it grabs your attention.

    There were lots parts I found pretty silly though. Sunset Shimmer acted and sounded like a carbon copy of Trixie (even had same henchmen). They should have given her a more unique personality. Also her grand plan to spend 3 years in high school to raise an army of a few dozen zombie teenagers to conquer equestria was really stupid and made no sense. Twilights ability to become prom queen after 2-3 days at the new school was entirely unrealistic. I found that a lot harder to believe than the concept of her transforming into a human to begin with.

    Also twi spent like 3 days in the same clothes and lived in the library... did she ever shower? She must have reeked by the end of it. I hope her friends made her shower for that prom.

    I actually thought it was kind of funny to see Trixie there being her Great and Powerful self, but for some reason her henchmen weren't hers OTL
