Well everyone loves talking dogs.

I hope the getting Twilight used to not being a pony thing doesn't take too much of a portion though. While it will likely lead to great comedy, I don't really want it to detract from places where it shouldn't.

I don't know where that post was but yeah...except for Twilight Sparkle, the rest of the girls are actually not the mane six but their equivalent selves in the other dimension.

I only remember Fluttershy's human world self equivalent name because...not sure why actually lol. I think because she's kinda my favourite pony or because the name was simple.

I found an article about Hasbro's and Mattel's rivalry and kinda explains how it lead Hasbro to making Equestria Girls. It somehow makes more sense now o.o to me at least.

Well, now it makes much more sense why Hasbro did it.
I figured it was something like this though; it's always things like these that tend to ruin series of..anything (don't even LET me start talking about how DC and Marvel ruined Comic content and are pretty much shoving off any independent comic publisher).

Thinking that MLP has become so popular, they thought it's a great way to take advantage of it and rival the doll market of Mattel. Meh...

I don't know about you guys but human Fluttershy is super cute
I suppose the designs could have been better but I'm still ok-ish with them. I actually wished they had kept their original anthro/furry form (eh anthro fan here ) but that's just me!

There are some new pictures going around the internet of what appears to be the finished version of Twilight, Sunset and Applejack dolls.

Sadly, they don't look much better than the prototypes...though I'm still tempted to buy the Fluttershy one just because it's Fluttershy :<

It pretty much ended exactily how I figured it would [sans the little 'extra' details/scenes, didn't bother guessing about those beforepaw], seeing as the new trailer showed the plot/well there's been quite a few episodes where the elements were used before, so honestily the video doesn't even feel like a 'spoiler'...>> Pinkie thing was kind of expected since she's, well, Pinkie, not that it made it any less neat to see. But I can't help but be disappointed at the end note with the blue haired guy. Seemed a little unnecessary/chic-flicky to me, something like that, especially because I'd gotten the impression(the appreciated impression, mind that, since it would have been nice/better) that he was just her brother cross-world.<< And, no new links to the hoped-were-better-than-the-previous-ones doll things so we can see them without a scavenger hunt, Desdi ?

If I recall correctly, the DVD will be released in August of this year? For a theater release that seems a bit early.

Eh. The movie wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.
Flash Sentry shipping moments were cringe-worthy at best.
Songs were kinda lackluster...
Seemed like a typical but longer S3 episode.
Still hate Hasbro for making this, but glad there's no S4 bleed-out.
6/10, Twilicorn was a better Ponypocalypse.

D'aww....
It was kind of fast for the majority of it... some issues, but it was very, very cute. I actually liked it.

Edits:: Probabily the main thing that bothered me though... is that these are very obviousily high school students, and while I can understand that pretty much all of the story happens during between class/lunch/after school times... how does Twilight manage to co-exist in this enviornment (mostily with the teachers and principal(s)), let alone take part in an event there, when she is not actually enrolled in the school nor any classes..? And the library sleeping scene having no reciprocation kind of confused me... OTL

I thought the male:female background character ratio was interesting, too

I watched it and I liked it.
I did enjoy the music and I liked most of the designs (mainly Fluttershy and Twilight, don't like Rainbow Dash's ). I know that's mostly a personal preference.
I think the plot was alright considering what they had to work with and they pulled it off pretty well.

Some things happened too fast but it's understandable since it was too much to pack into a one hour and half movie. I don't mind them being furry by the end since I like and draw anthro myself...

Overall, it wasn't epically awesome but it was pretty good. It was much better than I expected and it did feel very MLP-like (the characters and all). I'm glad they focused on the characters a lot instead of the how high school setting and whatnot.

Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry...I don't mind them. They said he doesn't appear in S4 so whatever. They left it open so fans can either choose to ship them or not.
