    Cause someone new that is not a regular on the forum don't know the dynamic of the forum. We want someone that is active not someone that play since 4 years, but came here only 3 times, but of course it's my opinion if Hey you! take a new player I'll respect his choice and respect the new mods never mind who it is (except tweakz/thumb and Brillance, if that was them i could not promise anything xD).

    Much easier to respect and accept a regular we know than some random person out of the blue that, as far as we know, doesn't have any clue wtf they're doing. Especially since if they had barely any forum activity before, then they weren't really part of the community... which means unless they do an incredible job, the community won't accept them very easily and will scrutinize their actions even more than someone they're used to.


    tl;dr: It's another form of PR to get mods you know your community is already familiar with than to try and get them to accept random new people. This pretty much applies to any forums that has volunteer staff instead of paid employees.

    Short for too long; didn't read.

    When posted as a reply, it's as advertised and means you didn't bother reading the post. When made as part of a post, it means that's it a short or simplified version of what the rest of the post was.

    To answer again to the ''why people want a regular poster as mod'', i want to add that in a way sometime new people are not always bad, Hey you! is a new CM, we never heard of him before and so far he is really active and everyone respect and appreciate him, so it's kinda why i say that even if it's a new mod I'll let him a chance.

    Just saying, I was a regular poster, but when Frankie made that Mod thread about me, people acted like they didn't know who I was.

    But we'll look at all of the applications, and make a choice :3.
