[CLOSED] LFM - Looking For a Moderator! [NO NEW APPLICANTS!]

Hey everyone,

I'm excited to announce that right now, we are looking to add another moderator or two to our little forum family!

Moderators are part of what make our community great. Not only do they help keep the forums a fun, friendly environment for players to chat and learn, they're also a vital part in helping the PWI Team improve the PWI experience for all players.

If you're interested in joining our volunteer moderator team, please send me a Private Message, with the subject "Volunteer Moderator Application."

1) Tell me about what hours you would have available,
2) What relevant experience you might have, and
3) Why you'd like to join our team!

I'll be in further contact with any qualified applicants for a follow up interview.

Keep in mind that our volunteer moderators are unpaid. Volunteer moderators have no work hour requirements, need not meet any quota, and may post as much or as little as they choose. They receive no compensation for this position, nor do they receive any perks in game for the time they spent moderating.

If you are chosen to be a moderator for the PWI forums, you may choose to leave that position at any time; you may also be removed from the position at any time deemed necessary.

Please DO NOT post your applications here. Feel free to sound off if you're applying, but the application itself should be sent to me in a Private Message.

Update: Hey everyone, still reviewing lots of applications, and continuing correspondence! I'm doing my best to get through these, but as you all might imagine, we're pretty slammed what with the new expansion coming out and everything ^_^;. Also, keep in mind that we're reviewing for more than just one position, and we won't necessarily decide on all the moderators at once!

Update 2: New applications will be accepted through November 11th, Sunday. After that, applications will be *closed*.

    I'm a mod for Rusty Hearts. Everyone should be a PWE mod, it's a totally stellar job! You get to be a CM's Lackey!

    <3 PWI, even though I've never posted here before, it was my first MMO (back when it was just Perfect World circa 4 years ago haha).

    The panda looks forward to adding a new face or two to our crew. Being a Mod isn't sunshine, rainbows, and puppies all the time, but it can be rewarding and enjoyable.

    Well, I've met Jen in-game, I believe she may have real life to deal with, like work, holidays and a hubby. Which is understandable.

    I've done moderating in unofficial game communities of varying sizes but never for an official forum.

    I doubt pwe would ever consider me though due to the kind of stuff I post on here.

    You'd be surprised. I was one of the biggest flaming (bleep) on the rant section of my old EQ server, and I ended up as the moderator for that Forum. Course I couldn't flame as hard anymore. So most likely you'd be asked to post that stuff differently or not at all.

    Any idea where she lives? The hurricane might have caused some issues for her (but I seriously hope not).

    She likely just got bit by the RL bug. Those bites can be nasty and sometimes take a while to recover.
