Interesting question there. The big headed tiger barb preset is allowed. Now if I was to change the body ID to make it a wolf, would I be on illegal grounds?
Not like I'd do that but it's not an unlikely possibilty o_o[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

The chinese preset is already allowed because it doesn't require scale editing. It's a preset. The animal type is changed the same way as skin, which was allowed. It's no different than putting on different tideborn tats, or EG skin. So go for it.0 -

So um.. I'm guessing I'm just slow here or something. I've read and reread and looked through everything you have. I've tried so many times on my own and I am still failing.. b:cry I keep getting customization errors when trying to put male hair on new fem chars. Is it because we can't use them? I did it in the outside files, and now I don't know where to put it to get it to wok in game ... I feel so stupid having to ask, even though everyone has said it multiple times....0

Once you're in the outside files, click create a new character and then do not touch anything. The "create new character" default should have the male hair.0 -

This works... I have male tideborn hair on a new veno and female tideborn hair on a male wizzy... To do this you only go as far as the "Character File"... You do not go into the "Customize Folder". you can do it b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
If I own, say, a pirate hat or shinobi headband. Could I change my hair code to that so I could have it on when I have my armor showing instead of fashion? b:puzzled0

Unless you are talking about putting it on a barb, otherwise, that is illegal and impossible to do on any other classes. And that would only work in private server.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I'm not saying I'd try to make it equippable, but change the code so that it would become my natural hair, which is possible. And your natural hair is shown when you have armor displayed, so I could see it with my armor.0 -

That is what I mean. Even if you change the normal hair code with the boutique hair code, it won't work unless is it in private server (only works for barbs). And it is illegal to do so as of now in PWI.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Wait - we can edit our characters now - For example getting Earthguard hair on a venomancer?

Yes, that is allowed now. It's been posted multiple times that you can. If it wasn't allowed, this thread wouldn't be allowed to exist and wouldn't be sticked.[SIGPIC]http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa85/kitsunekatie/guild stuff/allcharsig1-1.jpg [/SIGPIC]

Ive also asked this question on another ini thread, but I'll also try here.
I've been checking numerous ini threads and have experimented on my own with no luck, but does anyone know if we can change a tideborn's ear shape to something less fishy and more human? Or at least be able to change the size to be minimal (or at least, a smaller size)?
When I change my psychic's hair to one that exposes her ears they look so manly large I cant stand it. My Preference is a human shape, but if this is race-locked then maybe something much smaller to look more feminine. Anyone?
Please be kind with your reply and please dont respond that this has already been answered. I've searched every reply on this thread and dont see it. (*whew* 289 posts) If it has been answered, would someone be so good and link the answer?
(Yes, I adore my Psychic and her fishy race, but just looking for answers here)
Thank you so much in advance.0 -
Update: I've reduced the size of the ear fine. Looks okay. But I'd still like to learn if anyone knows how to change from the Tideborn fish ears to human shape?0

Not sure it's possible.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i wish the guide included the textures for faces (TB + EG) and hair (old races) too. i have to go through each preset and save it and view the ini file just to find them out when i could just copy and paste the info here into the ini file i am already working on0

Has anyone managed to make this Earthguard hair work with a female cleric?
No matter how much I tweak the depth of cheekbones/eyes/brow/cheek, there is always clipping around the eye/cheekbone area. Not sure if it can be fixed. This is as far as I could go; can someone help? b:surrender0 -

I must say that hair on a cleric was extremely hard to work with and in the end I couldn't get it 100% perfect. I did manage to reduce the clipping a bit further on the cheek than in this pic but her cheekbones and eyebrows were so rotated she didn't look nowhere near as good. And since it wasn't perfect anyway I opted for cuter instead of more perfect. xD edit: Should also add that eyebrow shape played a part in the way the hair fit the cleric as well.
That's what I got, and the codes effecting were the hair were cheeks, cheekbones, eyes, eyebrow, forehead, and ears. Since so much of it affected the preset I tried my best to get to look a bit like yours only with those features changed to make the hair work. Then tweaked it a lot to make other hair styles work as well. I hope that you're able to get this preset to your liking. ^^

Wow. Thank you so much! It didn't occur to me that eyebrow shape, ears and forehead would matter. I'll tweak it again and see if I can reach a compromise. Guess the hair just isn't cleric-friendly, if the minimal clipping picture is any indication... b:chuckle
Thank you for the help! I just absolutely needed that hair on my cleric. XD0 -
this thread is just awesome! I've already spent a few hours do some ini edit on my chars lol.
I especially love the EG eye. I'm so glad now my cleric got the EG eye.
thx VenusArmani for the great thread! b:thanks
too bad that we can't get EG skin on older classes like elf or human.. I mean I just love the EG lips..even though we can't edit the color, like the tideborn lips. it just looks so natural, I love it.
I just want to ask, can we ini edit EG body to have a tideborn tattoo? coz I've been trying, but only the face can get a tattoo...0 -

Glad you like it. Yeah, it's only the faces. Body tats are racial feature unique to the TB. If they did we'd also be able to put veno tails on other races too as that's a body texture thing.0 -
Can we get some tattoos on the char creation/modification section?
Will be so cool to have some facil and body marks b:victory0 -
While trying to create a female BM with EG eyes, I keep getting the Customization Data Error.
can anyone explain what I am doing wrong? I copied the code for the eyes directly from an earthguard and onto my BM.
[EDIT: I figured out where I goofed, and fixed it.]0
