World bosses: Give them splash damage.
Damage that gets spread over everyone in range.
E.g. 1 sin trying to solo it would get his butt nuked for 20k, but a group of 20 would only get hit for 1k each.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

How can anyone even ask about adding in more content/features, when the client itself is nearly unplayable for people with high-end gaming rigs? I myself completely re-installed the client on my desktop, have latest nvidia drivers, verified my client 10+ times, threw the client on the antivirus exception list, made sure my system was properly updated, etc. I crash every five minutes in any city created after 2011+. Memory leaks plaque the game, and I genuinely lag in-game w/ a top notch PC. It hogs more RAM than Crysis + Crysis 2 combined on my rig, with max settings on both games.
The client needs a complete overhaul. If this is done, then most bugs need to be worked out of the game. Balance has been needed since the Tideborn expansion, and a graphical update needs to be pushed out for the rest of the game (minus TB/EG/Morai). Skills for all classes need to be tweaked. Barb's need to be able to aggro better, as with seekers. Veno's are drastically under-powered w/ the current pets.
Weapon restriction would be nice as well. But again, realistically; the game's core needs to be brought up to 2012 standards. I understand the game engine dates back to 2004ish, and you can only go so far with it, however that doesn't negate the fact of anything I stated.
The forum's need an anti-spam measure. More moderators that won't abuse their moderating powers as well. An active staff from the company would only help some more.
Realistically, PWE needs to come to realize that the game's community is quite small now. A server merge should probably be something that they need to look at. A lot of server's don't have enough players to finish events, or pull two opposing 80VS80 wars in TW. If there aren't enough active players to play the game the way they expect it to be played, then some sort of merger should be contemplated. You can't expect to make a statement like "Well, if you just get people from your server on at the same time, and all group together to do stuff...", when you don't actually have the active community in-game to pull something off.

While the panda's big brain is cooking on the subject....
Why is it that every class except the barb gets a usefull gem in any kind of pack? We have all seen Garnet's, Saph's and Citrine's come to folks with a click of a mouse. Yet where is the Amber?
4 years, this panda has seen many an Icebourn or Drakeflame... how about providing a way for the barbs to get a Golden Soulgem? b:angry
I think on Sanctuary the Amber shards cost about 1/6th the price of garnets. I'd much rather get a garnet and sell, then buy 6 Amber shards or the G12 Amber. Thats kind of like asking for worse rewards imo.
And I completely agree Xainou. I'd love to see some things linked more to the account than to character. The fact that I have 4 characters in one faction because I like talking with my friends means the 200 person faction is really 1/4 of its actual size. Would be so much better if I could just join my account to a faction. Same with FLs, where people have 7 of my chars in their FL and I have 5 of theirs.
K, my suggestion: I'd like to see channel canceling brought back. Of all the stupid things implemented/broken because "thats how it is on the Chinese servers" this was the one thing PWI chose to change?
I know it was considered an exploit, but the buff casting before the skill was cast was how the game is designed. Without this mechanism of buff then attack Wield Thunder wouldn't debuff before it lands, Sunder wouldn't crit before it attacks, seeker stances wouldn't effect the attack that activates them,... They even left 0% channeling double-casting which is actually a glitch. There are about a dozen examples but they only changed it for two classes, the sin and bm. I understand the reason was because sins were CCing from stealth and then attacking with powerdashed crit rates, but isn't the solution to this to make starting a skill knock you out of stealth. Not to glitch skills so the buff happens after the skill for only two classes.
And yes, they added a glitch to the game by changing the buff->attack process so that really only two classes and about three skills attack->buff.
I miss channel canceling. It was one of the few things that actually separated skilled from unskilled. With so many things being gear>skill, CCing was something to balance the playing field.
Now with aps being nerfed by 5% and the forced missed 20% glitch they added for game balancing, it seems like CCing should be put back. Also, if server v server is coming and they allow inter-PW gameplay like in PWIC every other version will have an advantage over PWI because they still have CCing like PW designed it to be.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Hm, I don't quite see it working for joining factions. Not with PWI and TW. lol

Well my wife is a cleric and she loves that mystic eyes and that very red lips but she never use them because she have no idea how even if it was allow but the suggestion of your suggestion is that the game put options to choose eyes..lips...hair without people use INI edit thing because it will be easy if they have it right there at character edit.0 -
i say make mounts useable in dungeons for our slow casters because everyoneelse runs so fast they get left behind. and i agree to the remove lunar entry fee, also would b nice to stash the fairy box keys cause they r just a space waster.0

Was hoping beyond hope that pwi would do something like this. Actually, since we've gone from 6 characters to 10 characters I've needed to move buff alts and banks around. There's already enough accounts sharing. If you do that some people will share the stash with friends/hubby/wife etc... hello the scamming and hacking.
Example: A guy have a 3rd nirvana weapon and meet a ''girl'' and wow big love they marry and the guy too stupid in love with a pixel ''girl'' decide to pay for the stash to share his weap with his wife than 2 weeks later found out the girl is a dude and they fight, imagine the ticket: ''QQ he stole my weapon, QQ no it's mine, QQ remove the stash we don't want it, QQ he change his password and have all my stuff''.
Sharing accounts is not allowed, but there's about 90% doing it, if you make people able to share gears/weap and etc.. that will create a lot of problems i'm telling you.
There's already enough drama with sharing accounts cause people divorce/fight than QQ ''he/she took my stuff, he **** me QQ!!''.
But i wish they make Rank stuff able to be stash, i have 2 cleric on the same account one is R8+7 all shard, my other cleric TT9, if i was able to stash it i would buy the rep for my 2nd cleric to use on both.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Who came up with the idea to give clerics a boost in attack (which is a nice thought), but take away their healing? Clerics jobs are to HEAL. b:beatup
I honestly have never been able to use VD in PvE or TW, simply because I'm the Healer.
The ability to absorb an enemies ability to heal is nice- but you can't even use the damn skills in TW because you're healing your own squad.
2. BB cooldown time reduced
Because lets face it- when the boss knocks your BB as soon as you get it set up & waste the 2 sparks, Chromatic isn't always quite enough.
Having a squad yell at you "BB stupid cleric! Why do you keep dropping!!!" is frustrating.
3. Some sort of Knockback skill for Clerics
Because I'd honestly would just enjoy one b:chuckle
4. Don't make Seeker debuffs usable in PvP
I have full saged debuffs- adding those up against even a well geared Barb would take him down in no time in TW. b:surrender
5. FIX AGGRO SKILLS

heres several suggestions id like to see applied to pwi that would make it more challenging and fun.
1. Restrict FF to lvl 80+
2. Put an npc shop in FF/Snowy Village that sells both hp/mp herbs, hypers and some other things that are needed but limit the hypers to lvl 80+ in FF.
3. If hypers are going to be used outside of FF put em into a shop that we can buy with in game coin.
4. have any and all fashions go into the boutique instead of being put into packs. (its really ridiculous and idiotic to have fash that everyone wants to try and cant get em or access em)
5. Lower the mp usage of the mystic on the resurrect skill to a more reasonable mp amount like the clerics revive.
6. Make any and all morai skills pve and pvp useable instead of having 1-2 skills pvp and the others pve. (ex: wizard lvl 80 skills. clerics violet dance form, absorbing and aurora array skills, barbs raging slap, veno's bewitch and soul link.)
7. fix the morai skills to affect any and all lvls. not to make em only useable if they are 5 lvls difference. (ex: barb's berserker"s rage/wrath, cleric absorbing and aurora array. etc.) plus fix the bm's sword cyclone skill so it can used with genie skills such as ToP, second wind, and debuff skills.
8. If the cleric is going to get a DD form, make it where the cleric can self heal from mobs and players. (available only in pve and tw)
9. Back to the boutique, put more flyers in for better access. plus make the eternal love fash for both guys and girls accessible in for those that want to buy it.
10. make alot of the things from the packs accessible in the boutique or make it where we can get em from a reward (ex: random reward in bh100, lunar and or warsong.)
11. see bout adding all 3 divine emissaries to all major cities where a bounty hunter npc is as well as adding em up at thousand stream.
12. reduce the cost of the tideborn skills to balance them with the other classes.

i think its more than bout time that pw does something to avoid a monopoly of the world bosses. plus also need to fix the glitch on harpy wraith for the demon path quest. dont know how old that one is but i'll be having bout 4 toons needing that one done and im a player that likes to complete all quests regardless of difficulty. so far ive got 1 toon that needs it currently and id like to get it completed for the other quest later on in lvls.

the violet/ultraviolet dance form might be a good idea if it can work somehow with the right skills such as a cleric self healing from the form since their own healing skills are locked up.

so far ive never had any problem keeping BB up, but if some ppl are having trouble with it, then maybe pw should reduce the CD down by 10secs.

Mystic's have a knockback skill that works on other players, not just mobs. I would like to see all the older classes brought up to speed so their knockback skills can be used in pvp too.0

There once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.

The thing the game needs a lot of is more unique quests. Quests get super boring nowadays. You get Kill X monster (or get their item), go to X NPC, Kill X monsters (or get their item).
Instead, we can have like jumping quests (flyer disabled), some puzzle quests (like cube but much harder), a maze where if you turn into a wrong corner, you face a monster or traps that cause you to lose health (via debuffs or just direct damage), and other random things. Cuz grindy based are getting kind of old.
Edit: Also, maybe you can nerf sins by making them unable to use skills within 2 seconds after they drop stealth. Hella annoyed at sins Stealthing during duels and then tele stunning and then going back into stealth... Makes me use Sutra Tele the moment i see that kind of thing.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I actually think there should be a longer PK Cooldown, and disable players from entering safe zones too much after attacking someone shortly before.
I also think Run/Walk toggle should be a keybindable thing. (Default to \ at first. Make a poll to see who wants it where.)
I agree to the "Marking" of Aggressive mobs as well. Have a red broken heart symbol or something next to their floaty name when you hover them. (For venos, it'd be a good idea for the opposite side of the name to have the tamable icon too, in all colors.)There once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.

Something else that would go along nicely with this would be disabling of npc functions such as vending, teleporters, and quest pickups for red names. Makes for more of a PK penalty then what is in place now.0 -

EXP Rate should also be reduced based on name color I think. (Even in Reflection. Up to 50% on normal EXP days, up to 100% for x2 days. x2 doesn't affect reflection iirc, so that won't work with reflection, just 50% for that then.) Or just effect exhaustion status like the timed farming penalty we didn't get for red names.0 -
I'll read through the replies, got directed here by fuzzy . As for world bosses, make them have permanent bramble, problem solved b:chuckle. Most classes that solo this boss, use melee attacks, having bramble would mean, that you need other classes to come in and help, and use skills. When skills are used, naturally things take longer, and the chance of squad wipes go up.
Map 5 bosses are fun, but with a purge pole and bb i can tank them easily on bm. That is why perma bramble is needed, something like bm wygie boss, he rebuffs way too often, or the advanced version of the last warsong boss. He rebuffs as soon as you debuff him practically.
I liked the idea of opening fcc for gear or exp. For gear fcc, make the bosses harder to, and people will have fun farming fcc. Contrary to popular belief, on sanctuary at least, all instances get farmed, but some are exclusive farmers, that is why the mats do not show up in the market easily. At present i can make nearly 1 full set of lunar 95 green set. I am sure there are others like me who farm such things.0 -
1. Allow .INI editing or add Adv. Makeover Scrolls with all races hairstyles, eye textures and facial hair, and an actualy functional color spectrum.
2. Add a "Fitting Room" button to fash so that when ppl link a piece they're selling in WC we can try it on.
3. Add a Preview button on the Seamstress so we can see exactly how our fash is gonna look like before we dye with solid color pigments.
4. Increase the amount of coins that can be stored in the Gold Trading Account in the AH.
5. Add class and sage/demon filters to Skill Books in the AH.
6. Let us use all 20 vendor slots, not just 13 -.-
7. Update the Event Boutique.
8. Add Earthguard Masteries to Advanced Mystical Page (All) option.
9. Add Earthguard Masteries to the Bidding Hall.
10. Add more skills to Bidding Hall like in EU servers.
11. Add new Flyer Tokens to the Bidding Hall.
12. Hell... update the whole thing -.-
13. Allow Chrono Pages to be made with Warsoul Tags.
14. Remove time limitation from Nirvana Talismans and let them stack.
15. Bring back TT 3-3 BH.
16. Make Blazing Arrow able to be refreshed.
17. They broke Distance Shrink a few weeks ago, you could use it while autopathing and your toon kept moving after, but now it gets interrupted. Need to fix that.
18. Fix the "Has a chance to consume only X sparks" Proc. Ever since I started playing, if the skill needs 2 sparks and has a chance at consuming 1 spark only, the effect will trigger BEFORE the skill is casted, so if you're at full chi you get one spark but then consume two you'd end up with 2 sparks as opposed to 3 like it should be.
19. Also, ever since the Imperial Fury update (AEU and that stuff), when a chi-consuming skill gets interrupted by any effect other than the player canceling the skill himself (target dies, runs out of range, etc), chi will still be consumed and the skill doesnt even enter cooldown. That's one F***ing anoying thing that needs to get fixed.
20. Improve drop rates on R8 Recast mats and make EVERYTHING tradeable, even the ores you get after opening ore packs. E V E R Y T H I N G.
21. Fairy Boxes... ok, a bit annoying that they introduced them, limiting the amount of mirages you can get from TT per day, but still not so bad. Now, Fairy Box Keys... ridiculous.
22. Remove or increase the amount of chips for BH reward.
23. Add the Gilded Ribbon set to the Boutique, or hell, even to a pack -.- Also the Goldfish (anni fash) hairpiece.

Bottom line: Frankie asked recently in one of the maint discussion threads what was in our opinion the best feature in PWI, and a lot of ppl said it was precisely Character Customization, so why not give us the option to use one of the features your playerbase likes the most about your game to the fullest in a completely "legal" and in-game way?
