Although I can do faction/friends only squads a lot, I like to meet new people in WC/Random squads. But on both toons I really get tired of the "Whaaaaa" **** about gear. Shut up, and just play. I still love my buddy who is in TT80 gold with like 2.22 APS at 100 cause he plays pro.

so wait they should look into player INFO on each melee toon just to be certain there MIGHT be another toon to tank said bosses mmm na wont happen.

Agreed there is a fair number of people who just have no idea how to play their toon, however when everyone is too busy leveling all of their alts to help the newer players learn, they have to just play and learn by mistake, and then people get upset. When I was a nublet in game, I was left behind in one of my first FB runs...no reason for that, just like we shouldnt go to frost all day to level if we have no idea how to play...my "dont wanna hear" is...why did you pull aggro?...I roar my pet it does yes, but if you just dont know how to pull or hold aggro...your bad not mine kk thnx...a veno is not going to send pet at mob and then stop it, an then send it again...venos juggle aggro with their pets all day, we should have good control of our toon and pet at all times...an venos, fellow venos~~dont put your pets on auto inside any run please, and look out for mobs that pull your pets into other mobs...**waves white flag**b:laughb:victoryb:kiss

and yes only barb could pull it off 99% of thet time.

sure ppl where pro at those lv and used anything to survive those hard nukes

at bh69 it should be beyond easy to to do

I've seen R9+10 players failing in TM69 when agro both Pole + Nob = Both Debuff = Dead

It was hella funny to see.

Some of the things new veno's say kill me. "I don't have a pet" "I did not level my fox skills because I'm arcane (this one annoys the cap out of me)". I have been playing my wizard alt alot lately getting to know some horrible veno's. Maybe I am biased because i played one for so long but wow. Almost every veno's skill can be useful depending on the situation as with any class. Then seeing them begging for a sin for bh 79. are you kidding me!?!? I soloed my bh 79 and 89 all through my 90's not even having my 90 gear till 97. (back in the day.) that instance is easy. And seeing aa ppl asking for help with pyro -_-. really? that's as bad as ppl claiming an aa can't tank 59. derrr. and don't get me started on fc. Also duoed that with my bm hubby for a long time before sins role was designated and before seekers existed. Please never say we can't run without a seeker. I will quit squad and pk you due to stupidity.

I got this told to me on my barb. Level 89 sage barb with 14k hp. A little low (hp always could be higher), but still. We had a psy, a mystic, a cleric, my barb (I know a little bit about holding aggro from the barb forums and a few barb friends and I've got Alpha Male on that genie). I think we also had a BM.

Needless to say, I love forming random bigrooms on my barb, just to get the "we need a seeker!" quotes. Because they're priceless. And those people are always the silent ones after the mobs all die.

There might be some really good bm out there who can do it, but very mast majority at that level can not take pole and nob from my experiences. They require a barb, seeker in that level range to tank.

I was tanking by level 82 on my bm (and level 69 on my barb). At first I needed 2 clerics, just for the fast purify, but once I got over 6k hp I was fine. The bosses attacks hit you for around 1.5k normal and 4k when debuffed and can sometimes hit and immediately follow with an aoe. The real trick is fast cleric purifies, but its best to never get debuffed at all. Timing spark resist or EQ to interupt and a quick boss kill and its no problem.

And I wouldn't magic marrow. Actually, I might phys marrow and just interupt boss attacks and tank regular attacks. They do about a 4:1 attack to aoe ratio and I'd rather have 1 harder aoe than 4 harder attacks. I can't remember but I think Nob has a magic aoe but Pole has both a large range (~16m) magic attack and a small physical aoe (~8m) that can really hurt.

Back in my day clerics knew to have their purify at least level 7 or so before they went into that dungeon. I forget how long it took but I think his aoe came around every 7-10 seconds or so. You can see it channeling under his feet. Carry magic defense charms and use your phys marrow I think was one method BMs used. I asked a couple of lowbies once back when I wanted to make one. Also used EQ to interrupt but you can't always rely on that. Have AD or something on your genie. I mean there all kinds of methods for BMs to do it.


BH69 is one of the best training dungeons in the game, period. If you can't do it at BH level, then you gotta look at your gear or your skills. You should never, ever, ever need a level 100 to do any part of a bh for you if you have a proper squad.

happened to me yesterday, I'm lvl60 sin join a bh51 squad, other members were 3 barbs and 2 cleric, with their lvl ranged between 64-66, so this is a real bh squad without helper.
I have to admit that this is my first bh without any helper at all, so I'm a bit noobish.. but I was really excited about it..

So, first 2 bosses went fine, fushma and rankar down without any problem.
Myriadtail didn't go as smooth though. I was doing normal DD plus rib strike and using all sparks I gain for subsea periodically until the bosses was about 50% hp.
And then I made a poor decision. I feel an itch to deal as much dps as I can, so I decided to spark and wind shield ._.
First few second was fine but then when spark about to end the boss suddenly turned to me.. I took 2 hits before manage to go stealth, left me with very low hp.. and then boom, the boss use AOE, I died.
Revived -> died again by AOE, and it happened about 4 times.
and for the last one I was like "**** this, I'm not gonna fight anymore", but that boss must be hate me so much, he launched last AOE right before he dead, and it hit me even though I was running to safety at that time.. so I died, right before the boss died..

I won't mind dying several times, I took a lesson from it, but one of these barbs are really cocky, he said "fail sin" before he left squad.. In fact no one was dead beside me, so I think he didn't need to say such thing to me. It's not like I'm causing a squad wipe. It's a successful bh run for him indeed, why not just saying "ty for bh" and left like everyone else.. b:angry

The trick for quick purifying against pole its pretty simple : hit the damn purify button when you see boss's channeling, don't wait to actually see the debuff on the tank to hit the button.

I can name a certain game I used to play I was a combat medic. the other bosses are nothing to compete about

vyvern is different then the other two

his debuff can kill anybody who is not carefull and love to kill sqeshy dds who love to agro

barb should not have said it but its ur own foult for sparking and stealing agro

nob is easy but pole have a nasty debuff pretty much like krimson eye

69 why definition is a true show of boss quality

ur undergeared and no you dont need up gear to tank him on barb or bm you need a ep who dont bb and IH and purify the nasty DEBUFF

sin was never meant to be a TANK

boss is physical so without that debuff it shoudl be pretty easy

i seen a 69 barb tank pole when server was new LOST CITY

at 80 it should be ok at 100 it should be beyond easy with r8 ++++ even soloed

His debuff can turn 10k+ P.def to zero and then he can easily deal 4-5k damage per hit.

hell i lost my super Op LA claw build at pole and it was my lv70 lawl i was doing fb69

to listen to this newbs you cant do bosses we did do after halv a hour or so with +2

cos even in lost ppl did rush to lv90 pretty fast so even we did not even care to have +8 on gear

so wait are you also saying you did not do fb19 at lv20 cos it WAS TO HARD

have two ep one for only healing everyone and other on the purify butten then some random heal and wait for lv7 purify to finish cooldown and wait for this debuff chaneling and purify tank once it hits
