One of the shops that have been around ever since I started is the one from roseveno. She actually helped me to get my first piece of fash on my veno, by pointing out a shop that was selling a ballroom dress slightly cheaper than herself.

Ajiuo - Harshlands

The layout of the catshops seems to be the same for all servers. Sadly, HL doesn't really have a "dye" section, it's just mixed in with the fashion section so sometimes it's hard for me to focus and find the dye shops. Occassionally, we'll have the lined up catshops in south arch by the banker and in north arch by the pet manager (or is that still west arch?), but i've yet to see one in the actual west arch.
As for the shops I visit normally? Well PreeK used to be around a lot, selling teles for uber cheap but I only see him rarely now. I visit a few fashion shops but I can't remember their name so I'll probably get in game and screenshot them for you. (Just because i've yet to post any screenshots to go with your blog and i really want to xD)

LostLolipop is normally the first one I go to. She's normally in one spot but sometimes she moves to the other side of Fashion Way (as i like to call it cus i'm a freaking nerd. ) I would say her prices are average, I don't really buy from her tho.

The other catshop I look at is called "Katshop" lol. She's really overpriced but I still look at it. (And because I spend like crazy regardless of price, I find myself buying stuff from her that I like... Like Witch Stocking for 15mil...) She has the new dress in there today, it's 12mil and I would of bought it but it's an ugly purple. Really dark and kind of electric? You know that colour. xP

Well those are the two catshops I check the most. Really, I just look at all the shops with "fashion" of their head, but they're not always the same person so it didn't really fit the question. Normally I buy my fashion from the boutique because it seems like no one is ever selling what I want... while it's more expensive, atleast I'm getting what I want from it. Sad about having to random dye it most of the time. :C

b:infuriated Night I could've sold you mine for 4 mil, but yea, west is usually West banker corner > Token shops, Cross Roads > Fash, Wine guy > mats, Jewelcraftsman > Dorbs, teles by the teleporter Needless to say I usually only look at the fash shops... Oh and you forgot about ChaChing Night xD Their usually selling for pretty cheap by my standards.

I love browsing the catshops, so many things to see.....and sometimes buy b:chuckle In Arch the dye shops are usually across the lane from the West banker, but after the recent dye sale some still crop up in random places. Our fashion is heavily concentrated in the crossroads, and there`s always so much fash b:dirty The tokens are everywhere around the bank...DQ by the merchant....D Orbs by the jewelcraftsman....and lots of higher ticket items (gems etc...) around the teleporter.

i rarely buys anything from catshops at west. if i do it is tokens usually rarely fash, mats sometimes, d orb sometimes. there's actually a lil catshop in south that sells fash really cheap but she's only set her cat up every now n then. same as me, I use to set up my cat jsut about every day during 2010. now not so much. I use to merchant alot during 2010, now not so much lol.

yes I noticed that Gaia shop, she's been trying to sell this 1 Female Fashion for so long, guess nobody like it, or she simply put the price too expensive..

besides the green hair, what makes me remember her is the big red lips the char has.

Hey guys, been a while. Can you believe the first month of 2012 is already almost over?

I did a massive closet organizing yesterday, and decided it was time for one for pwi as well.

I started the game in late November 2008. My first fashion was a pastel pink fairy dress in early Jan 2009, which I unfortunately sold a long time ago. The first several dresses I had was the fairy dress, there weren't that many options back then actually.



Like many other players, fashion became a factor in playing pwi. As greedy as I am, I haven't sold or traded that many fashion pieces I acquired but continued to purchase anything I liked when I could, and picked up steals even if I didn't even really like it.

My first "big" purchase was a pure black fairy dress for 800k, back when having a couple million coin was a huge deal, and yes, pure dyed fashion didn't go above 1.5m

My first incident with fashion was when a "friend" wanted to try on my first pure white dyed set, a bikini top with the beach bottoms, and logged off never to come back.



I moved on (after talking Teny's ears off... 'What's the big deal??' he says omg >_> lol), and made many alts with different makeovers to match fashion. Wardrobe stones became the best creations pwi ever made. I remember having to store them in the bank and bank alts... >_>;;

Also being lazy, I bought multiples of some fashion so I wouldn't have to trade whenever I switched characters.




As of now, across 17 characters, I have 53 head pieces, 269 tops, 147 bottoms, 51 sleeves, and 167 pairs of shoes. 687 total individual pieces.




Tell me your fashion history. Do you trade fashion across alts, or buy individual pieces for them?

Hmmmm, my fashion history? Well, there's not much to say...

the first outfit I ever bought was this set with Dorothy Heels (I think that's what they are called) dyed in black:

Then on Onbekend, I bought my 2nd outfit:


It's been her signature look ever since...

I sometimes trade outfits between my characters, just to see how they look... however, Synsae, Onbekend, and Penkala get the best stuff... lol

my first fashion i ever bought (when i was playing the MY-version) was a fairy dress from the item mall. i begged my bf to buy it for me xD back then they didnt have many choices either. i was hoping for a white dress, but it came out green. it didnt look too bad though. but i traded it off for a reddish colored one that matched my werefox better at the time. that was before i started getting all-orange fashion.

whenever i was able to afford it on that server, i did start dying things copper (called cherry red on there for some reason). one of my favorite sets was the Leather set (called funky on there). i wore that thing almost all the time. surprisingly though, i dont have that set on PWI lol.

on PWI, i was lvl 34 when i bought my first set... it was the sundrop set... only because 1- i was poor and non dyable fashion is usually cheaper, 2- it was already orange! no need to dye it lol and 3- they didnt have it on the MY server so it was new to me. i bought the full set off someone for 1mil.




after that, i bought a cream colored lollipop dress... and that was all the fashion i had until i was in my 70s when i bought a cheetah bikini, and then a lovebird dress for my wedding in my 80s, which was my first pure copper dyed piece xD






and from then on, practically every fashion i bought i either dyed copper/orange/brown or bought it in those colors already.

Graviora - Dreamweaver

My first outfit was the Sundrop set at the moment I turned 30. After that, I had a purple vixen wrap which I dyed dark blue and later sold. After that, I can vaguely remember some sets here and there. However, the sets I have kept the longest are... black damsels dress and corsairs boots from my hubby; a bright blue wedding dress from my hubby; and my pure black duke rose top, duke rose boots, and summer camp skirt.

Snowycookie - Sanctuary

My first set ever was a light yellow fairydress. After that I think I got a sundrop set.. Then I started playing my cleric and her 1st fashion ever were cream colored wedding dress what I then sold when I went for my 1 year break.
After that.. fashion have moved to me and then to others. I mostly sell fashions what dont fit to my characters after makeovers or when I just stop liking them. Piece what I have had for longest is my side ponytail I think, love it.

My biggest fashion flop? Buying anything that is really expensive and then having to resell it at a loooow cost.
My favourite outfit... hm. I really like black brawler jacket and black maiden skirt. I had it on my cleric but it didn't really look good on her so I sold it. ;x
I usually mail my alts fashion because I'm too cheap to buy an acct stone (but I might someday) and I can never find multiples of what I want for sale. b:sad

My first ever outfit was a hot pink fairy dress a faction friend lent me, when I was in my 20's
Shortly afterwords, while messing in the Boutique, I found my trademark outfit: Sprite's top, vampire shorts, and bowknot boots. They WERE originally going to be in hot pink.. but my chance, the top and pants both came out in Cyan. It worked, brilliantly, and 50 levels later, I still have it ^^

Fashion, huh? I don't own much pieces... as I actually dislike most of the female fashion in game (why is the male fashion always much more awesome? QQ).

My first ever set was a blue Chipao (which I sold like a year later for 800k :<) and Plumed High Heels and a Leather Bracelet. The latter pieces I still own (and wear them most of the time xD).

b:chuckle seems like the fairy dress was an opener for many. I first started paying with both my cousins who were very very into fashion and well male attention (omg playing halo with them was torture) but back to the issue. They gave me my first fashion, a odd now know random dye blue. It made me make a whole new char based on it, char never made it past 30s i think. I ended up selling it soon after.

the first fashion I bought was the pirate set from the bouti. I ended up with black, and at the time everyone wanted to buy them, I think I sold them for ?7mil? , which I spent moments later on more fashion (pir. pants and top), and few odds and ends. Later after lucy quit she split her wardrob with me and les, I ended up with like 10 or more pieces, Alot of it I traded it for others.

Im at the point to were one of my chars has a full wardrob and thats just what she has the others have and outfit a piece. I have given alot of fashion away to and found (maybe its the good karma) but I ended up finding major bargins on some fashions exp of two below.

Adding that most of the fash I gave away was because I didnt care for it and thought it would help a mismatched random but friendly person, so it wasnt like the most generous of actions.

oh and the exp I meant on a deal. I got both the bard pants for 7mil and some change, Although some sale cheap when new fashion arrives. Thats when I tend to look for older pieces of colors I want.

Well lets, way back in '09 I first got my first piece of fash when I turned lvl30. Puke green vixen wrap. And I loved it lol after that my friend _Enjoi_ gave me the sundrop set. I dropped it in pk tho q.q (I think .__.) After that I got a grey damsels for 1.5m (Remember when that was alot of money?) and my friend Lutrica sold me her wine red plumed heels and vixen wrap, wore them ALL the time. Then I got **** :< and all my fash went poof. My friend then lent me some fash when I was getting all my stuff back. I think it was the leopard pants in black and a cheetah print bikini top with heels.. I forget which. Theres more to this fashion story but I forgot most of it lol, my husband bought me some fash as a gift when we got married too.. lol I also kinda buy whatever I see that is a good shade of purple and is really cheap xD

As you can see, my screenie skills got better and my char got prettier. The fashion stayed the same though. Which just goes to show that fashion looks different on different chars.



All together I have about 148 pieces of fashion, across two different accounts, and 8 different characters. I have more alts than that, but none of them have fashion cuz I don't play any of em.



And those are my faves if I had to pick at the moment. I love the yellow lollipop dress with the red shoes because its just so bright and trendy. I like the blue icelace dress and sapphire hair (got a purpley blue chipao heels not pictured) because it just coordinates so well and looks so elegant. I like my sin's look with the barfighter top, black shorts, brawler boots, and the beanie because she looks tough. Like she's kinda girly but dangerous and a bit of a punk. And I like new year set because its gorgeous and I haven't run into anyone with that particular combo yet. But I also change which one I like the most a lot, depending on my mood.b:chuckle

Vixter: I never really liked orange fashion until I saw how nice they looked on your veno. You make me almost wanna go back to a fox veno (that and the fact that fox tail = best veno tail! lol)

Oh, about the duke rose set - anyone remember how when it first came into the cash shop, it was crazy glitched so they took it down from the boutique? Everyone feared a rollback, I was mad that they might take my set away, but they didn't, and the duke rose set became really rare. I should have sold the set I had then when it was worth a lot before they added it back in... oh well.

Snowycookie: I also agree that the side pony looks cute and flatters almost any character. I wish you woulda kept your cream dress tho QQ

dimthought: I'm glad you posted a reply! You can type as much as you'd like, we're all interested in what you gotta say. I think the act of giving to others even if its something you didn't really like/need is still a great and generous deed. Always thought you came up with really unique matchups, a few that I really like and a few I think look a little quirky? but still works lol. Love them.

VenusArmani: Fashion does look different depending on the character I agree. I've said it before but the new year set is love on your cleric. I really like the lollipop dress and the barfighter top combo. Those are the type of outfits you'd see me around irl actually xD

Sadly, the area around the necklace was clipping bad and the back by the neck clipped on my cleric too, I think due to how they stand. b:cry

When I came back to the game I seriously were mad to myself from selling the dress. Okay, it dont look good on any of my toons atm but cream fash is always cream fash! Gonna hunt some cheap cream pigments to dye my flourishing dress but for now, I go back to bed because flu isnt my friend.

Well I started a wizzie, and like I said, I move fash to alts, so my cleric is in her armor til I can afford black dyes to wear butterfly top and maiden skirt in black (gave kuixing my black maidens for her purple one) with the mafia heels she's wearing in the last picture I showed you.
My wiz is currently wearing pink plume top, black banquet skirt and black fairy boots with black fingerless gloves and aegean laurel. Too cute. My cleric wore that til i made my wiz. I had stardust dress for my cleric, but it reminded me too much of a prom dress, so i sold it.

The very first fashion I got..... hm. I remember. It was when I was a lowbie cleric and were just done running someones FB39. We were: Me, my archer friend and a veno friend of ours, who - I realize that now- put some cash into game. I remember we were QQing for days already because some sexy fashion just came out. And she had some sexy fashion. XD
Somewhen she said: 'This price, pick something.' And so we both chose a vixen dress. I remember mine, I still got it. I was so happy xD
No old screenies though I fear since my harddrive went poof with my old pc b:surrender
Everything I got left of screenshots is horrible. Lower graphics + 15" screen and me not knowing how to take a screenshot without UI rofl


But between my lots and lots of fashion, this is alltime favorite. Just so fitting and casual

I trade them around on my characters, 'cept for a brawler skirt, which I have 2 from x'D
I generally play on Hazu though, so waterfal mostly gets the skirts and other.. cute stuff XD

this was my frist set of fashion minus the hair. i got it total of 400k the balet dress was 200k and the slipers were also 200k. my first hair was the thunder pony tail I forgot the price i think it was 1m? or so around there. never dyed this set and i still have it. I bought it from AH.



my first set that i dyed was a feather top and corsair skirt. It wasnt random, I bought aquamarine dyes and dyed it.
