mmm somewhat- I said 20+ people left Ascend, and assumed most went too Nil's considering I watched several join right in from of me in south- Ethierway its close to accurate so it seems..

The only competition going on down there is: who can acumalate the most effective TWers from thier own big faction first.

The real competition would have been turning a 1.5 hr TW into a longer one, or a victory-

Hey, whatever you guys do is your decision, I still always treat you with respect in-game as friends; I'm not jelly mad pissed bro is jelly over what it is that you do, but I'll tell you what I think of it. And so no, I don't think people who joined BOAD from nemesis did with the intention of helping them. Sure, on the surface, but like the people that joined rogue from nemesis when I was trying to help chaos, the balance quickly got killed off because some metaphoric chubby kid always has to do a cannon ball in the middle of the rest of our water volleyball game. "I wanna play tooo guyssssss." Splash, good time ruined.

I don't say that because I dislike nemesis. Kat, you are the one that says factions have to hate each other for the TW's to be good, that there has to be rivarly. I disagree, I only disliked nemesis because of the actions of its leader, the best representative of said faction. But even still, by now, I don't care, and I don't grief you guys over what it is you do, I just go about my business. And my business was BD, until less than a day after I joined, a committed movement from nemesis comes to the nearby rivalring faction. It's not a coincidence. If you subtracted me and blood from BD's side last week, the tw would have been over in 20 minutes. If you subtracted cursed, zengoku, dizasterx, and their personal clerics that also came over, the tw would have lasted 2 hours. It goes without saying what that means.

I'm just bored of fighting the same group of you. Moreover, It's not good for BOAD or Bloodydynasty, or darkside, or immunity, or any other faction that isn't ascend/nemesis, if all that happens is players from ascend and nemesis follow each other to these small factions solely for the purpose of squeezing TW's out of them, and then leaving to go back right after.But I mean, whatever. You're in BOAD, great. A couple random ascends ended up joining, but not in any organized way, on their own accord. Nothing like that +20 number. And still less strength than the movement that went to your side. Even bigger is that none of them have TW hours, so already don't expect the 55-60 BOAD vs the 35 BD that was last week to suddenly get better or remain as good for this week. I'm predicting 38-45 minutes, but I'll still get some fun out of the TW so see ya tonight : )

Hmmmm...ok, I hear you. By the way rivalry , yes, hate, no. I'll admit I misread the situation with BD and Boad though. I was under the impression that it was going to be pretty much evenly matched AFTER some of us joined there. I went more then anything because I'm friends with FanMan and a few of my members are there too so thought it would just be fun Geez, why's it always so complicated to just have fun TW's, lol. You shouldn't join there, you should join there...sigh.

Uh huh, so Bloody Dynasty recruited people to balance out against BOAD so that maybe they MIGHT get out of their base, and you thought you would go to BOAD to balance that out? What, so its another TW where your opponent can't get out of their base yet again?

6 month map resets - its like the Emancipation Proclamation. We can let you HAVE your ridiculous crystal walks without risk that someday you will hold the entire map preventing tw for everyone the way nefarious did for so long on Sanctuary. I feel so liberated!

ownership of the map =/= crystal walks. we had plenty of tw against boad and junkies - far more than narla had against impulse, far more than any ever had against nemesis. The only reason we had more land is that you guys fell apart all emo the first time ascend was actually able to beat you in like a 90 minute tw.

And towards the end, I did leave - twice. I was pretty much begged back in the first time and the second time soochi tricked me (sent me a faction invite instead of a squad invite at like 4 am, that damn soochi!). And even when i was back, most often i would go to TWs other than nemesis - maybe popping back in to kick your barbs outta our base, but thats about it. I prefer this game with you all invisible. You are not deserving of the fun that proski and I and others are able to bring to other factions and their opponents, and so you shall not have it.

And unlike you, at map reset, I DID leave. I was scouting out nilnil's faction and a few others on my alts (they not all named blood b:surprised, maybe you should check YOUR roster, lol) for at least 6 weeks prior to the map reset being announced.

And as for joining because you are "friends" with BOAD's leader, all I can say is I am sure you are. Funny that you didn't join when Ascend was fighting them and junkies to "help out", huh?

shhhh, rob, don't say this because then I will have to point out that the only one that ever mentioned to Narla membership about "taking the map" was mango, after a tw, and I quote verbatim "Guys, we are going for the map". I remember thinking at that time "what? thats totally what most of us (kat included) came from sanctuary to avoid."

And I was gone inside of a month. But Kat, no no no, 7 minute crystal walks followed by world chatting "great job narla, gf [insert anonamous faction here]".

Actually BOAD vs. BD went on longer then Darkside vs. Immunity meaning both sides were more evenly balanced as they could drag it out longer (maybe not in numbers but in skill and im sure it was prob Proski leading that tw) also i heard that BD got into base couple times too with just barbs, and then after hearing this 20 number leave Ascend FOR BD i thought BOAD would obviously be the weaker side this week.

Side note though, sucks it was a Friday war because neither i nor the Ascend people had hours! (well Ascend people according to Fans)

in both neither faction could do anything but turtle, and in both you joined the winning side. So if both sides were more evenly matched, you all should have joined the losing side to make them even more well matched - maybe actually force the other side to defend a little bit, duh, which woudl have certainly extended the time of the TW. Instead, you join the winning side to make them less evenly matched in an 80 vs 35 tw, which is exactly the point. By now you either get it or you don't - I'm done trying to explain it to you.

i don't really care all that much, I had better tw on 2 different alts last night. ijs, its terribly predictable, and more and more people are going to refuse to give you TW under these circumstances. Last night was a good example.

So if you want 6 minute crystal walks, keep doing what you are doing, by all means.

Just don't keep doing what you are doing and try to deny (or expect anyone to believe) that you want long or competitive TWs.

The competetiveness would have been recruiting more speedbumps (wasnt there only 35 to TW?) -not power players- and building a strategy evolved from what was learned from what boad had the prior week (somthing not done in just 2 weeks of TWs ,one being an actual PvP fight)-

That naturally would have made for longer TWs- but unfortunatelly the solution to longer better TWs was to play the aged old rat-race to gain the most best of the best-

But don't get me wrong, I don't agree with BOAD's current solution either, but heh, we all know two wrongs don't make a right-

The difference here is....I'm not saying it was WRONG to have been in Narla with Narla's goals of taking the map or to be in Nem or to be in Ascend or any other strong faction. I'm not the one saying that those factions are detroying the server's TW's. I don't go around telling everyone else that it's right or wrong to TW however they want Rob. So, no it's not pot calling the kettle black at all because when we joined Narla ( BLOOD and the rest or our group) we learned early on that YOUR goal was to take the map. I was fine with that. BLOOD was not, and that's fine too. I don't spend all my time trying to convince BLOOD or anyone else to change how they play the game or change how they run their own faction or change the rest the server into seeing things my way.....all the while sitting in the strongest faction on the server that is doing EXACTLY what he is QQing about all the time. It just seems really hypocritical to me is all. THAT was my point. What I DO get caught up in all the time is defending my right and other people's right to log on and play the game, run their faction, lead their TW's in any way they choose to without being treated like and talked about like we are bad people for doing so....and I have lost people I thought were my friends because I KEEP doing so. I'm sorry if I think it's wrong to belittle others for not seeing things the same way you do or to constantly be attacking their way of thinking just because it's not yours...but I DO think it's wrong. It's also not the way to actually open people up to your views because the more you keep doing it the more defensive they become and determined to not listen.

As far as riding on coattails...huh? What's your point? I never claimed to have built Narla. You built it with a good group of people and I was just lucky enough to pick a good faction from the start...I don't see how that is riding on any coattails because I'm not and never have claimed any credit for what Narla accomplished.

BLOOD, to say the first time you ever heard anything about Narla's goal of taking over the map is not true. Rob made Narla's goals VERY clear right from the start. We all knew way before Rob ever handed Narla over what his goals were and the one thing he asked of Geo when he handed Narla to him was to continue those goals for Narla. Oh, and by the way I in fact DID join Junkies when they were fighting Ascend to help out. Problem was they kept landing on the same time as Nem's TW's at the time so I only made a couple of TW's against Ascend.

A. Rob never called for the map in faction chat or on vent the way Mango did. Whether you had your private conversations with him or whatever, whose to know.

B. Again, the only attempt I ever made at getting you or anyone to do anything any differently was based not on my will to power, lol, but on YOUR statements of what you wanted. I was just telling you how to get it. I used to think the fact that you would never get the point was just because you were flat out stupid. Not anymore. I know now it was just because you were either delusional or just flat out dishonest. Regardless of which is or was true, thats why I am finished.

Again, you are so jelly that ascend got more land than nemesis ever did, and without any of the scheming that nemesis had to go to just to come in second, that you would LIKE to draw comparison to me, but it is false. First, because Ascend didn't have crystal walks the the entirety of its time on the server - it always sought out competitive tw. Second, I didn't sit in Ascend, I left more than once. And I stopped going to TWs against Nemesis and those that were crystal walks. And Third (there are plenty more distinctions, but these are certainly enough to disprove your premise), Ascend didn't accept anyone and everyone with a heavy weapon, regardless of their attitude. They didn't go out of their way to pull people out of Nemesis just for the sake of doing so, and in fact, rejected many, many people that had epic gear on principal alone (sometimes on principals I disagreed with, but such is life).

A. I never, not once, said you shouldn't do what you want. I said that you can't say you want competitive TW and then do everything to prevent it. That isn't belittling people or how they want to play the game. At first, it was trying to explain to someone that they were saying one thing and doing another, and THAT is what they shouldn't do. Later, when I determined that even you weren't THAT stupid, it was just making sure that people that didn't live the servers history aren't fooled by your shell game.

B. Again, you mistake what I am doing here as an attempt at persuasion. I don't care to persuade. I am merely here to lay out the truth for those that are smart enough to read it. For those that aren't, or don't care about the truth, such is life.

As I said before, my goal used to be to try to help fix what was wrong on this server with people that claimed to share the same goals. Time has proven that you don't. And that's fine. I no longer need to fix any of it. But neither will I let you trick anyone anymore.

I addressed this above, but i would add here this. Even assuming that rob did announce the plan to take the map daily to every narla member (and thats a big assumption), the fact is he didn't compromise the faction to do it. You and mango at the helm of narla did not. You spent your whole time plotting and scheming and playing favorites in locked vent channels.

Again, I am not going to say you don't have a right to do that. But just don't expect to get away with it when you want to pretend that you didn't, or that rob is just like you, or that rob is the one that made narla into the shallow, single minded bore heap of players you and mango turned it into.

The difference here is....I'm not saying it was WRONG to have been in Narla with Narla's goals of taking the map or to be in Nem or to be in Ascend or any other strong faction. I'm not the one saying that those factions are detroying the server's TW's. I don't go around telling everyone else that it's right or wrong to TW however they want Rob. So, no it's not pot calling the kettle black at all because when we joined Narla ( BLOOD and the rest or our group) we learned early on that YOUR goal was to take the map. I was fine with that. BLOOD was not, and that's fine too. I don't spend all my time trying to convince BLOOD or anyone else to change how they play the game or change how they run their own faction or change the rest the server into seeing things my way.....all the while sitting in the strongest faction on the server that is doing EXACTLY what he is QQing about all the time. It just seems really hypocritical to me is all. THAT was my point. What I DO get caught up in all the time is defending my right and other people's right to log on and play the game, run their faction, lead their TW's in any way they choose to without being treated like and talked about like we are bad people for doing so....and I have lost people I thought were my friends because I KEEP doing so. I'm sorry if I think it's wrong to belittle others for not seeing things the same way you do or to constantly be attacking their way of thinking just because it's not yours...but I DO think it's wrong. It's also not the way to actually open people up to your views because the more you keep doing it the more defensive they become and determined to not listen.

As far as riding on coattails...huh? What's your point? I never claimed to have built Narla. You built it with a good group of people and I was just lucky enough to pick a good faction from the start...I don't see how that is riding on any coattails because I'm not and never have claimed any credit for what Narla accomplished.
