Archers have 2 true melee skills, wingspan and winged pledge. You can tell they are true melee skills since they activate bramble damage. These are the attacks that would receive a benefit from BP.
Archers however have 0 attacks that use magic damage but that doesn't stop them from getting buffed by cleric's spirit's gift and it doesn't stop them from using wands.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Idk, your level of stupidity, is it hereditary? @Korren and the other two gentlemen/ladies who are doing the translations, I understand that information is scarce, but if possible, is there any way for you to clear up the following for me?
1) The veno anti-stun skill: It says 10 seconds of stun-immunity, and pet attack increase + pet accuracy increase; The wording does not clearly tell whether or not the pet-attack + accuracy increase is ALSO only 10 seconds. It could (and should) be like Summer Sprint, where the Demon Summer Sprint skill when used gives 6 seconds of anti-stun, but the effect of summer sprint actually lasts 5 minutes;
Does the pet stat increase also last only 10 seconds?
2) The pvp reflect buff; it says that it lasts 15 seconds. I don't suppose you can provide cooldown and chi related info, so I won't push for an answer here. If possible, can you clarify it? Would be much obliged.

Archers arent designed to use our melee skills? That's a pretty silly argument since we have them.
If anything that buff shouldn't belong to barbs since they are meant for tanking and are not a DD class. Seekers also have a mix of ranged and mellee skills similar to archers but they get the buff (despite the skill description specifically saying they are excluded).
Really most everything about the RT expansion was poorly thought out which is why you see lots of these design mistakes (driving everyone to roll sins).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

3rd eye: increase detection lvl by 31 for 8sec(means u can see sins at your lvl)
Heart of sword: 12meters aoe, base atk + 3681, recover 20% hp, attract agro from mobs.
Fan Xin Jianming Yuan: summon a pet, 60sec, the ability of pet depends on ur SF.
Mystic
Star prairie: absorb 15%-35%(depends on SF) of targets revover ability(healing, charm) for 15sec
Flowers blinding: new AOE buff, increase skill damage to mobs by 20%, last 30min.
3rd eye: detect if there r stealth targets around u, and knock out all stealth targets 26meters around u, last 6sec.
Rejuvenation of all things: AOE rez buff-.-
Moist: AOE buff, incrase healing effect by 20%, pot effect 30%, last 30min.

Iv been chatting with a developper lately, and got some info about new class skills.
Here,i just list some skills that have been confirmed.
the new gears will be PvE gears, with special attributes against mobs.
after the expansion, your charactor can join one of the 3 forces: shadow, light , dark night, whatever they are called>.>
each force has their unique skills for every class. you can easily learn the skills from the force u joined. if u want to learn skills from other forces, u need to get contribution/reputation points form those forces and trade for skill books.
well, at the end, u can learn all the new skills anyway, but it takes time, so choose ur force carefully.
skills
Archers
1.Greatly increase attack range and crit rate during a short period.
2.go into stealth mode, but will be knocked out of it if u move, u can use skills in stealth at least.
3.left/right jump. just like bm.
cleric
1.a sort of transfromation, greatly increase metal dmg.
2.curse ur target, give him a negative buff, reduce his healing ability including charm tick.
the power of this debuff depends on your own magic attack.
example:
Cleric A, crused target B with 5000 healing debuff.
B has 10000HP
B takes damage and HP drops to 5000
charm ticks
B still have 5000 HP
Veno
1. turn target into a frog during a short period.
2.after getting a target, veno can summon a veno tree( pet ), if the tree takes hit by any1(every1 can attack it including veno herself), the target will take damage too.
Wizzard
Time controlling skills.
1. curse your enemy with a time debuff, after a few seconds, enemy's HP will reset back to this point.
2. curse your enemy with a time debuff, after a few seconds, enemy's position will reset back to this point.
new self buff!
3. now wizzard will have a new self buff, once the wizzard gets hit by any melee range attack, the buff will remove all debuffs on him, and shrink away (or be knocked away like that mystic skill, im not very sure) immediately. ofcos, this buff effect has a cooldown time..
Earthguard 3rd eye skill:
stealth detection!
Seeker will have a skill to increase the stealth detection lvl by 31 during a short period, which means u can see any sins at your own lvl, even if they use force stealth.
time to go back to frost, seekers..
Mystic will get a passsive skill which can detect if there are sins around u, and show their names on a list. you need to get lv100 to max this skill, then u can find any sins at any lvl on ur detection list, but u cant target them, try summon a plant to aoe them , ask ur 105 friend to use detection pots, or just ask a seeker to knock them out>.>

Venos have an entire skill tree and morph-form devoted to being a melee class. They even have a melee mastery to go with it.
Even speaking as an archer.....2 skills doesn't mean much. Yes, they were designed to be used melee when things get too close to you, but its a far cry from a whole branch of the class being designed as melee. To apply BP to 2 skills isn't really going to do much for you anyway in most scenarios. Archers have since become weakened 5aps claw/fist users, but their design is to be in the back ranks with the ranged arcanes. Comparing 2 skills to a whole tree/morph form isn't a comparison at all.
And as far as seekers go.....they are a true melee class with a host of ranged attacks. Should the BP not apply to those attacks? Maybe so. The only time I personally pay attention to having BP as seeker is when I know Vortex is gonna be used alot.
And even with Sins, slap a bow on one and he doesn't get BP returns from it.

I may be abit uninformed in this aspect, but does BP affect every Seeker skill?
Additionally, BP on archers would do very little, but if Wingspan/Pledge was affected by it then it would give me even more reason to use Wingspan in FC, Delta and wherever else I am (Sage Wingspans free sparks b:pleased).

The "Bug" event is apparently some sort of period on the test server where they're going to have players running through the content to find issues. If they find a bug, they get rewarded for it with a 10* Dragon Orb...

BP does work for every seeker's attack skill whether it be range or melee. A seeker with BP and vortex/gemini slash can heal for a tremendous amount of hp (for pve wise). The hp amount healed from my own experience is from 350-1000+ per mob depending on crits and zerks.
Although I don't think BP healing applies to damage from edge blur since that is more of a self buff and the damage dealt from edge blur don't show up in the damage log. You also don't get extra heal from BP for the extra bonus damage caused by gemini slash with the spore debuff and other sword debuffs.0 -

Actually that is a whole branch if you've ever the archer skill tree. Our skills are arranged so that 2 out of our 5 branches carry no bow requirement. That speaks a lot about the original developers' intent. I don't think venos have any skills at all that can be used with melee weapons unlike archers.
In stark contrast to the original developers, the developers of the RT expansion are known for putting forth the most poorly thought out pile of excrement the game has ever seen. That's what happens when you hire a group of mentally-challenged chimps to design an expansion. The RT developers got pretty much everything wrong which is why the game is as sin/aps-centric it is today.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I just can't believe they buffed all the classes. Cleric, Veno, Wizard, Mystic, Seeker and maybe Barb all needed something imo. But to also buff sin, psychic and even archer the way they did? It won't rebalance the game at all.
And are all the wizard buffs only self buffs? A class that can solo next to nothing in the game and negligible DD on bosses is given no party buffs? Nice. Idiots.
