Nahleanna, I'm also pissed off about the SP issue since it hurts the chance of new players beefing up the community of PWI. However, if you can't act responsibly, then please don't post on forums. You're not making yourself look good and it's basically hurting the cause when there's usually logical communication going on and some people are going on a temper tantrum. Gets all messy.0 -

I'm not trying to help anyone gank anyone lol. It's a game, there's absolutely no reason for people to rage this bad over something like this. I understand people are angry over it, but don't call other people gankers just because we don't support your views. b:thanks0

First off, Gankers/ganking is something completely different than what is going on within SP. I agree and the VAST majority of PWI players, INCLUDING those into pvp or on pvp servers dissagreed secret passage was a good move. Hence why... it's getting reverted.
Second, While i agree it is not fair for PWI to force pvp onto a PVE oriented Server within a "questing area" <--(phrase debatable) it is not the PVP population that forced this on us to begin with.

Stop generalizing the entire pvp population where your asking to be differentiated from everyone else. Your doing exactly the same thing your acusing these "gankers" of. it doesn't make you any less better than "them".
Fourth, if pvp's got their way, as you so put it, secret passage would have stayed the way it is and we wouldn't even GET a fix. when it's coming it still unknown but hey, pve's and questers got heard.
fifth, if your referring to the whole derogatory term "carebears" etc etc etc and the whole pve fails antics. why on earth are you so concerned with what and how they call you when you obviously stand for your decision of going pve? every thing "different" from a person is given a name. Notice: PvE servers give PK Immunity to Blue Name Players. They also do not enter PvP until Lv30 I believe. White name is a choice in PvE servers, not a requirement.
We lose that in SP to where everyone no matter what level (now even those below 30 can be killed in Blue Name) or PK status, they're killable in SP. There are some quests that are in SP that require bossing in there, so higher levels might be called in to help. Not all people 85+ want to PK or do any form of PvP, so those people will be trying to enter SP to help the lower level players get their bossing done so there will be more diversity in the higher level rankings later on.
Would you always want to be fighting the same people over and over, or would you much rather have some variety on the battlefield and let some lower levels actually level and get some gear so PvP is a challenge? I'm sure you don't want a permanent pissing match for who can one shot the most n00bs in one go.
I am well aware of the server I chose and the rules that apply to it. I also understand why you feel PK in secret passage is a huge problem on pve servers. I was trying to get the point across that there are many other things you can do in the game outside of secret passage.
People can not and will not be banned for pvp in secret passage no matter what server they are on. So why are people coming here and crying about gankers, pk'ers, griefers, cyber-bullying, etc? It seems like most of the rudeness, bullying, etc has been directed at the people who enjoy pk (they are not breaking any rules whatsoever). It's rather pointless to blame the player base for changes none of us had any control over.

This is the reason it is so wrong... WHY should everyone put their play time on hold and go do something else just because players want to harass those players on a pve server who DO NOT want to PVP? Do we ask you to go do something else and not PVP? Concept you just dont want to understand. And as I have said many times on this very thread... IF YOU DONT WANT TO HEAR THE COMPLAINTS... MOVE ON. Luckily I've played different versions of the game and have some higher level chars than the levels for SP. So I can do other things, I know how to avoid SP for awhile. However, I know that if I was to have just joined the game for the first time, I know I wouldn't want to put up with it. I would be worried that the whole game could become like that, and what would be the point of PvE? The PK allowances of SP (especially if put serverwide) would allow PvE servers to become pseudo-PvP servers. I join PvE servers for the exact reason to avoid PvP. SP breaks PvE server rules and game mechanics, therefore, it should not exist as it is now.
There's two flavors of servers right now, PvE and PvP. PvP has forced PvP at 30+. PvE gives the option to avoid PvP almost 100%. SP is a low level area, it should not have forced PvP. Would you really want to just barely be the level that PK starts only to get freely one shotted by players up to 70+ levels higher than you? Especially if you joined a PvE server with the expectation that you wouldn't have that **** happen to you.
SP's rule setup is something that the Arena should have been designed for. It's named appropriately, why not use it for the penalty free PK? It would be a choice not a game requirement to enter the Arena. SP has some game requirements.
As for blaming the player base, there is plenty of blame that can be placed on the PKing playerbase that is exploiting SP for what it now is. Nuking lowbies is not what the SP rule was supposed to start. It was supposed to be a goof off area for highbies to blow each other to smithereens, but it's not really being used for that anymore. It's because of the player base that it's being reverted. If they can't stop themselves from purposefully going into the back rooms and one shotting bossing parties, then no, they don't get to have their cake and eat it too... They made their cake a lie by going against the rules of the PvE server and starting mass griefing.0 -

I read some of these post and just have to LMAO. The way things have been going lately people who say just relax and wait till the fix is implemented..........are assuming there is actually a fix coming. I myself will wait to see if they fix it at all. Sorry but PW has lied to us so many times up to this point that till i SEE the fix.........it doesnt exist.

Well there is another way around the problem actually. Could change the pvp level to 50 or preferably 60. I mean no one can go into Pk mode on PvE server w/o someone PKing them. Yet a bunch of devs with their own private servers have edited heaps of the games base code. I think there's even a Russian one that's gotten to edit actual skills.
Small group of unpaid fans figured out and edited most of the original code yet a paid and (from the look of the pre-EG video) decently sized team can't?

Based on the other SP threads where people have named games and named players who have been jerks... I doubt any MODs or Frankie even bother to read these anymore. I think a few pages back there was an entire discussion of new games coming out for people to try.
So to get your answer from anyone would be greater then an act of God. They have better things to do like plan new sales to suck more cash out of you before they shut down the game.0 -

It doesn't matter how large or skilled the development team is, and has nothing to do with their willingness to learn.
As with any job, the developers at PWE do what their bosses tell them to.
Until the cold day in hell when the executives in charge of the development team take an interest in improving game play or fixing bugs instead of creating marketing schemes to maximize short term profit, the game will continue to be the buggy mess that we know and love.
HEY PWE EXECUTIVES! LOOK AT YOUR OTHER FAILING GAMES! LoTR dead! HoTK dead! others on their way...... If you had put half the work of creating those pieces of doomed **** into fixing/improving the one successful game you have, do you think you'd have made more or less money? My bet is more. How hard is it to see through that haze of money you've built up? Snap out of it, please.
Here's your historical metaphor for the day:
PWI is the Ford Mustang of MMOs, classic and a bit wonky, but beloved by many for who knows what reason. Please stop wasting your profits developing Pintos and Mustang IIs and focus on what people want. (in this case, fixed bugs, better customer support; and more things to do in game, new instances and events for the endgame players).
After this game has done it's best tumbleweed impression and blown away, I invite the
