I don't think the map resetting ever now and then is a realy bad idea but I don't think they should put a certain time limit on it if this is ever going to happen... Maybe a better idea to set this plan for when a faction has taken over the entire map for at least a few weeks or so... Even in a smaller faction (yes I'm also in Hikari) it's still fun to participate in TW every now and then... Even though I'm still a walking one-shot... b:chuckle Also even if DimSum held back against us at 1st we can at least still brag about lasting that long against alts from a big faction (also it gave us a nice impression of how tw might actualy be like against equal or stronger ppl if you ask me)... I didn't expect to win in the 1st place cause mom already told me there where Enrage alts in it when we where fighting but still I had fun... b:pleased[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Also a big fan of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, "Tales of" games, Ys, Zelda, Pokemon & Anime...

Nice read- it certainly mirrors what alot of factions are finding across servers.
I'm probably in a faction similar to the OP's and being able to TW really has motivated everyone. We also did a pve (walkover) tw then bid on a neighbouring, apparently no-name faction, which turned out to be alot tougher than expected. Really fun 3 hour war- great respect to the other faction when it finished, and both sides eagerly awaiting and preparing for a rematch!b:pleased
Unfortunately it wont continue like this past a few weeks when the big factions have gotten their land so server reset wouldnt help unless it was done every couple of months.
Only thing I can think of which would help this is if there was a teir structure to tw map. There'd be this current map as normal, but there would be higher level maps. Their pve tw would significantly ramp up in difficulty but the rewards would also be much greater.
With faction's only being able to compete on 1 map at a time the stronger ones will push toward the higher maps leaving the not so strong an opportunity to tw on the lower.
Better rewards on the higher maps will also give more incentive for factions to continue to look to push up and tw against each other because the rewards>>>expense (unlike how it is at the moment)

It's very hard for him to take down Enrage ... He's on Lost City b:surrender and posting about the situation there and in general.

If there were different maps for different level ranges then the guild with the main map or w/e would have all the others with alt factions.
So what if the level cap on one map is 80 or w/e, those guilds will just get 80 alts at level 80 with full TT80 gold +5 with immacs, to them it's nothing and yet you'll almost never see a level 80 that isn't an alt with something like that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Read most of the thread here my 2 cent worth if its anything.
Little background:
I'm a no namer been on HT for almost a year. I want to believe I play my toon decently. I was gear to PVE but you know what at this lvl it's getting boring doing the same instance over and over again. I'm a PVP noob, care bear, cash shopper (bc I'm a pack addict) and I freely admit to it. You learn from your struggle and overcome your adversities.

The whole idea of have TW reset at certain time frame so the smaller faction have chance isnt that great. With genesis it gave everyone an opportunity to experience TW again. Especially for the newer player base. I'm grateful for this. Truthfully like the others post on here TW is for the big kids to play in.
I had a similiar experience with my alt Faction which use to be my main. Play cleric here against The Empire and totally got steam rolled and got farm killed. But the faction as whole knew we didnt stand a chance but we had a great time. We still plan on doing more for fun. This faction isnt made up of great geared players and not to many high lvls either. We took this experience and grow from it.
We are on a PVE server this is not PVP. PVP is optional on this server and same with TW. Dont expect the hardcore players to be giving any hand outs and where is the fun in that. If you like the way you are playing stick to instances, BHs, and squading with your friends/faction mates. If you want to do TW learn to play your class better. If a player knows how to play their class and have decent gear or not so great gear they can out play a crappy player in good gear.
Some of the Enrage members are the reason why I want to PVP and TW. Its time for some pay back.Not all members of Enrage are bad because some are friends. In any big faction you have good and bad people in it. This world is not perfect and if it was it would totally be boring.
This is just a game, have fun. If you aren't having fun time to find something else. I look forward to growing and playing in the major TW fights and cant wait. See you guys on the battle field.

The people who aren't sticks in the mud know women flock to huge egos and attitudes (that's why Enrage has so many females). However, there is still a fine line between having a huge ego because you're stupid and having a huge ego because you can back it up. There are both kinds in Enrage, admittedly, but don't worry denizens of HT, we discipline the stupid ones thoroughly >:D[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i think thats what i love most about enrage... we have been on top...we've been very close to losing everything...and yet our drive to conquer, and our huge egos have always remained. we work hard together and earned our place. any who deny that are just fail little carebear haters b:chuckle*insert awesome siggy here*0 -
